Want to join the team?

Hello again everyone,

Once again Five For magazine is recruiting! All positions are volunteer, and we are willing to work with your university for internships. Also, all staffers will receive letters of reference to make your resumes look impressive ;)

Translator: We are in need of one translator for interview questions. We ask that you translate 2 interviews per month, and within 1 week. For example, if we send you an interview on Monday, we need your completed translation back by the following Monday. We need translations from Japanese to English, and English to Japanese.

We are looking for a person with JLPT 2 or better, or the equivalent experience. If you feel this position is for you, please email us at submissions @ five-for.com with the subject line "translator"

Ad designer: We are in need of a graphic artist to work on ads, flyers, etc. These will all be print products, no web graphics. This is not a position that will have continuous assignments.

We are looking for a person who understands the basics of print design, such as bleeds, cmyk color space, etc. We would like someone with their own ideas, who can be given an assignment and run with it. If you are interested, please email us at submissions @ five-for.com with a link to samples of your work.

We tried to set it up so that you could select which magazines you want in your 3 pack, but Paypal hates us, SO, here's the important stuff:

If you would like to receive 1 copy each of issues 1 through 3, then use the payment button, and you're done!

If you would like to order any 3 other magazines (such as 1 copy each of 2 through 4, or 3 copies of 3, etc) then send us a note at sales @ five-for.com with the subject line "back issue 3 pack". In this email, include your country, and the 3 magazines you'd like to purchase. We'll then send you an invoice for the correct copies! Remember, this offer is for back issues only (issues 1 through 4)

Please remember that copies of issue 4 are extremely limited at this point.

Our MySpace "Send us your friends!" contest. All you have to do is convince your friends to send us a friend request. In the "send a note" field of the request form, they should put your MySpace name and email address.

On August 31st, the three people who have sent us the most referrals will get a copy of the next issue (6) for free!
Make sure your MySpace name and email address are with all the requests so we can credit you with the correct number of referrals, and of course contact you if you are the winner!

Issue 5!

Hello hello everyone!

Issue 5 is now available for pre-order! (ships 7/14) We've made some adjustments to the payment buttons for this issue (and the subscriptions buttons), so you can now add a note, and adjust quantity, so those of you who usually buy 2 issues can do it in one transaction now.

We're very excited about this issue, as it has our shiny new barcode, which will enable us to be sold in a lot more stores. If you have a store in your area that you think would like to carry the magazine, please let us know. European readers, you too!
