WHO WAS THERE?

The Berlin-based filmmaker Uli M Schueppel is planning a documentary-film about the first Einstuerzende Neubauten – Concert, December 21st, 1989 in Berlin (GDR).

He filmed the trip with the band from WestBerlin/Kreuzberg, passing the control-station CheckpointCharlie till Lichtenberg/EastBerlin.

For this project he is looking for fans who joined this concert (& who can remember...!).

Der Berliner Filmemacher Uli M Schueppel plant einen Dokumentarfilm zu dem ersten Einstürzende Neubauten – Konzert am 21.12. 1989 in Berlin - Hauptstadt der DDR (VEB Elektrokohle). Er hat damals selbst den Weg von WestBerlin über CheckpointCharlie nach Lichtenberg mit der Band erlebt & gefilmt

Für das Projekt sucht er Fans, die auch dort & dabei waren (& sich noch erinnern...!).

Just uploaded the film "Einheitssuche".

Walter Lenertz' and my contribution for the Expo 2000. I was chosen because of my name "Einheit" (means unit, unity – it was the 10^th anniversary of german reunification).

The names appearing in the film all belong to the victims of nazi terror between 1990 and 2000. The title "Einheitssuche" means "search for unity" – haven't found it yet. The film hasn't been shown since Expo 2000.

Porto, Brötzmann, Amok, i-pod act

... just spend two days at the beach
with my wife and my old friend Caspar Brötzmann.
zipping the wine and listen to the waves
we were preparing for the evening show
at Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Serralves in Porto.
As Caspar said: just after a couple of off-days
(the last show was about three years ago)
he returns from his baby-break and missing
his two year old boy Raven.
the show was rocking and had a nice
touch of Sehnsucht echoing thru the house.

then returning to Schwaben (Swabia)
working on a play around Fassbinder's film
"Warum läuft Herr R. Amok?" and Berthold Brechts
"Im Dickicht der Städte".

I discovered a new music profession:

I'm just about to finish preparing (most) all of my music for download in more than a 100 download shops worldwide. I think the stuff will be available by the end of may.

And I'm working on new songs but don't know yet when they are going to be released. Two songs which possibly will find their way on the new album are available for free download on my profile. Any feedback would be highly appreciated - let me know what you think of it.
