Disappointed & Bummed Out
Current mood: bummed

You know, as high as I've been over the past week with my sister getting married and having the chance to be under the same roof with most of my family, I'm still finding it really hard to look away from a few events and people who have disappointed and embarrassed me in the past week.
I really feel that it's time for me to put aside my calm demeanor and laid back personality and start telling it like it is.
Life is too short to put aside these sort of opportunities to be around some of the people who matter the most.
On Sunday night I awoke around 4 in the morning in a dark room in Delaware and I had a claustrophobic / not able to breathe episode...kind of like a panic attack sort of thing. I've been trying to put my finger on what it was...and the only conclusion I can come to is that I finally had a reaction to some negativity that I felt in between all of the happy moments.
I Hear Wedding Bells...

So for those of you who haven't heard...my sister Kate is getting married next Saturday August 23rd 2008 to her long time special manly friend, John R.
We're all so excited about the wedding and we can't wait...(no pressure Kate & John).
Jackie and me will arrive in Philly a week from today (August 20th) and from there we'll be frequenting Delaware, New Jersey, Philly, Wawa and many places in between.
Hopefully we run into plenty of family and friends for this trip.
I'm not a big fan of the boob tube these days, but there are a still few shows that I must watch whether it's on demand or when they first play. Currently I'm watching:
Mad Men Season 2 Weeds Season 4
And I'm getting ready for...
True Blood (September - from Alan Ball - creator of Six Feet Under) Dexter Season 3 (September) Flight of the Conchords Season 2 Entourage Season ?(lost count) Big Love Season 3 (Not sure when it starts)
As you can tell I'm an HBO / Showtime whore. These shows are just more enjoying to watch because they include profanity / nudity...and they just aren't censored. I guess I just enjoy profanity and nudity when it comes to my TV Shows, I can't help it.
So uh, what are you watching?
PS - If you are a fan of System of a Down make sure you check out Scars on Broadway's debut album...it's currently got mad replay value on my iPod.
