Just want to let everyone know that Episode 13 is on our DVD/CD combo.
The DVD/CD set was supposed to be in borders nationwide but there was a problem that has lead to certain stores recalling the DVD and in a few stores may have sold out.
But don't let this stop you, most Borders still have the DVD.
To make sure your local Borders has the DVD use the Borders Store Locatorto find a nearby store and give them a call.
Also if you aren't near a borders you can contact your nearest one and they can take a phone order and ship it to you.
Also check out this video by Mike Ambs from project pedal about their inspired trip to buy our DVD at Borders.
Also we are super pumped about the Compilation CD that comes with our DVD.
We are on a nationwide tour right now visiting various bands that are on the CD that have contributed music to our project. Be on the look out for some cool performance and profile videos about these bands. Here is the line up on the Compilation CD and there are also more MP3s on the data portion of the DVD it's self:

Below are three videos related to a new film festival called From Here to Awesome. Any filmmaker who has a film you want to share with the world should join the festival. 10 top feature films and top short films will get distribution world wide and keep all rights for further deals. Several films will also get prizes and awards. And all films that are submitted will get exposure and build audience that can be carried to future projects.
It's all based on what we've done with Four Eyed Monsters and wanting to open this process up to other filmmakers.
Entire film on MySpace TV and featured
Current mood: accomplished
Category: MySpace
You can now watch our film on MySpace TV in three parts (one, two, three). This has been a long time coming for us, since we met with the CEO of MySpace two years ago today and were later launched as the first MySpace Film profile. And, of course, it also means a lot because of how much of a role MySpace-esque social networking plays in the film.
MySpace has been super cool in helping us out. To help promote the film, they're featuring us this week on the film page. Thanks, MySpace!
*UPDATE. Spout is over. instead people should now join OurStage and we will get 1 dollar. It helps big time and costs nothing, so please, check that out. So watch the film below or on our profile.
So we are hoping to announce Monday that we've reached 40,000 sign ups on spout but currently we are actually only at 37 something. So have you signed up yet? Do you have some friends you could get to sign up? If everyone gets a few friends to sign up we should be able to get there by Monday.
All you need to do is go to the link below, create a user name and password and provide your email address and your all set.
Spout gives us 1 dollar for everyone person we get to submit their email and join.
Spout is actually a pretty cool site I've been using myself to make MySpace widgets that show the poster art of my favorite movies scrolling by. And it shows the movies I'm hoping to see which is a good way to coordinate with friends on what films to try to check out in theaters or rent together. It's really not hard, you just rate a few films on Spout, get the code and come back to your myspace and your set.
Check out the "movies" section of My Profile to see what I'm talking about.
Hope you had a nice Saturday night, I've been stuck inside getting ready to post a video susan and I made about our spout progress, keep an eye out on MySpace monday, I'm pretty happy how it's coming out, working on the animation for it right now.
So check out the responses we've been getting to the film on YouTube. Feel free to get creative and tell us what the film made you think about. What your take on relationships is. We have a tutorial on posting a youtube video response here.
And as we state in the video, we are extending the films stay on YouTube through August 15th, so please spread the word to everyone you know to go see the film and then join spout.com/foureyedmonsters.
We are now only in 70,000 of debt because 30,000 people have joined, so we are about 1/3 of the way there. Keep spreading the word. Click here to get the code to the below video in case you want to repost on a blog or bulletin.
And we have great news, which is that Spout.com has agreed to help us out of credit card debt. They will give us 1 dollar for everyone who joins Spout. Check out our promote page for ideas on how to spread the word. We need everyone to get all of their friends to join. We've already gotten 12,362 people and our goal is 100,000 which is roughly the amount of debt we are in. So watch the film, and please spread the word about joining Spout.
And a final way to support the film is to buy DVDs and the new high quality downloads. Special thanks to b-side for making that possible.
Apes and Androids free show at our DVD launch party in NYC!
Category: Parties and Nightlife
Check out the flyer for our DVD launch party, click for full details. Please spread the word, Apes and Androids has the best live show I've ever seen. And you can pick up a DVD avoiding the shipping cost from a table we'll have set up at the venue. Or of course, Four Eyed Monsters DVDs are for sale on our webiste and now ship with-in one business day of the order being placed.
So here is what's going on in Four Eyed Monsters land. We are trying our hardest to be done distributing the film so we can go back to making episodes.
It would be great if we could all help move things forward with our TV situation by filling out this easy new Survey we made today.
Also for any other filmmakers or creatives who need to make deals with their creations, we posted a tutorial to share some of the fascinating things about how it all works and also shed some light on what we've been up to recently.
We hope to soon be caught up with our current bills and rent so we'll be able to go back to the editing process with out worrying about money at every step. Another way to help us with that is by Ordering a DVD of our Feature Film and past episodes. And for anyone who's been wondering, the DVDs are now shipping.
Thanks a ton for being a part of this all, Arin & Susan
