Back!
Current mood:  accomplished
Not only am I back online, after spending too long switching from an old to a new computer, but the adsense ads. are back on TextMeFree.com :-)
Now, some folks don't like ads, preferring to see their free sites ad-free, but to them I say "Yah boo sucks!" - free ain't possible. Websites cost money to build and lots of time and energy to create and maintain. D'you think that MySpace would be around for example, without ads?
Anyways, I'm back and pleased. Go check out my excellent free sms directory why don't ya! And send someone a free sms text message today!
Note: TextMeFree.com is a directory of free sms sites. That means, er, that you can't send free sms at TextMeFree.com but you can via a free sms site listed at TextMeFree.com. Seems kinda straight-forward, at least to me, but still I have to tell this to a TextMeFree.com site visitor nearly nearly every day. Hey ho, etc!

Post New Blog
Ah yes, the MySpace blog. It must be time for me to post a new blog entry. After all, lots of new free sms sites have been added to TextMeFree.com in the last few months, and lots of new content - many frequently asked questionsabout sending free sms, no less.
Hence this blog post.

5 to 10 free sms per month at Playtxt

Hi
Long time no post. What can I say? Lo siento. ;-)
Anyway, this post is all about playtxt.net and their growing community of friends/daters/others who all like to send text messages.
Just set up my very own playtxt profile and sent my very first sms text message and I can say that I am impressed! Very. Okay, 5 to 10 free sms per month is not that much, but the site works really well and has loads of web 2.0 interactivity (very swish indeed). And, no, they did not pay me to say this. (Promise. :) )

The TextMeFree Times Newsletter launches

Hi
Just thought I'd mention that the The TextMeFree Times Newsletter launches soon. It's a newsletter that lets you keep up-to-date with all things free sms and there's some cellphone stuff too. I haven't sent any issues yet, and I have not advertised the page on the website yet either but I will do - soon.
At the moment there's a Free SMS Guide that gets sent out to all subscribers - 4 emails. Got less than 100 subscribers, at the moment, probably because I ask for too much personal information in the signup form. (Will probably change that soon.)
Of course, it is easy to unsubscribe if it's not your thing. (As if.)

Free SMS on Myspace - warning!
Hi
I'm into free sms. Hey, I'm the TextMeFree.com guy so I had better be into it. So I notice free sms stuff on the web and here on Myspace. Well, here's my warning. I used one free sms service directly from a another person's Myspace page. Guess what? The receiver of your free sms has to pay to receive the message. Erm, no thanks.
So, as they used to say in Hill Street Blues, be careful out there.

Captains Log: supplemental
I really should be quite concerned that every single freakin' page of TextMeFree.com on my beloved Google (!) is supplemental.
What does supplemental mean? Well, it's the equivalent of opening an invisible shop on a very busy high street, downtown!
Now that aint clever!
What's even less clever is that I've let it happen, and I continue to let it happen!
What can I say - it's Christmas soon.

Raindrops keep falling on me head!

Actually, I did get wet walking into 'town' today. Missed me bus. I suppose I should have just sent a text message and found out when the bus was due; but I knew when the bus was due: I just couldn't tear myself away from the computer.
Reason?
Well, surprise that it might be, I sometimes also double up as the Chipping Campden Guy too (though the look remains the same, bar the autographed shades)
Nice lens, eh!
As it says on the car sticker my other car is a Rolls Royce, well my other websites is a Chipping Campden (Hmm. Still needs work that.)
