100 books in 365 days...my list
Current mood: busy
Category: Goals, Plans, Hopes
Apparently the latest cool thing to do is read 100 books in a year. I'm sorry, did you hear me laughing? This isn't a complete list of what I've read so far this year (many of them have already gone back to the person who gives them to me). And yeah, I get on kicks and read everything I can from one author. It's part of my OCD. Can't help it. Fiction: 1. JD Robb-- Betrayal in Death .. 2. JD Robb--Divided in Death .. 3. JD Robb-Memory in Death .. 4. JD Robb--Origin In Death.. 5. JD Robb/Nora Roberts--Remember When.. 6. JD Robb-Survivor In Death.. 7. JD Robb-Visions in Death .. 8. Terry Pratchett--Carpe Jugulum.. 9. Terry Pratchett--Feet of Clay.. 10. Terry Pratchett--Going Postal.. 11. Terry Pratchett--The Last Continent.. 12. Terry Pratchett--Men at Arms.. 13. Terry Pratchett--Monstrous Regiment.. 14. Terry Pratchett--Mort.. 15. Terry Pratchett--Night Watch.. 16. Terry Pratchett--Small Gods.. 17. Terry Pratchett--Thief of Time 18. Terry Pratchett--Thud 19. Terry Pratchett--The Truth 20. Terry Pratchett--Guards! Guards! 21. Terry Pratchett--Wyrd Sisters 22. Terry Pratchett--Pyramids 23. Terry Pratchett--Color of Magic 24. Terry Pratchett--Equal Rites 25. James Patterson--Cross 26. Gary Jennings--Aztec 27. William Gibson--Idoru 28. Stephen King--Lisey's Story 29. Thomas Harris--Hannibal Rising 30. Martin Greenberg (ed)--Gateways 31. Edith Layton-- Alas, My Love 32. Lynn Kurland--Much Ado in the Moonlight 33. Barbara Michaels--Be Buried in the Rain 34. Laura Kinsale--Uncertain Magic 35. David Baldacci--TheCamel Club 36. Meryl Sawyer--Kiss of Death 37. Janet Evanovich--Manhunt 38. Lisa Scottoline--Courting Trouble 29. Stella Cameron--A Useful Affair 30. Jennifer Blake--Garden of Scandal 31. Linda Fairstein--Death Dance 32. Linda Lael Miller--One Last Look 33. Brenda Novak--Dead Giveaway 34. Susan Wiggs--The Winter Lodge 35. Mark Fabi--Wyrm
Nonfiction: 36. Steve Ettlinger--Twinkie Deconstructed 37. George Erikson--Atlantis in America 38. Bruce Scofield & Barry Orr: How to Practice Mayan Astrology 39. Dennis William Hauk-The Sorcerer's Stone 40. Arthur J O Anderson--The Florentine Codex 41. Dr Henry Lee--Famous Crimes Revisted
There are more...I thought I could view what I took out from the library online, but I can't. Plus I gave a bag of books (probably a dozen or more) away this year (I leave them at the Senior Center).

personality test--not very accurate
Someone did this and sent it to me so I tried it out. Not very accurate at all. But the questions were all much too vague. Maybe I should take the "long" version (the short version was 60 questions). I change according to the situation, and that wasn't taken into account. Oh well. Here 'tis. My Personality ..>..> ..> | | Neuroticism | | Extraversion | | Openness To Experience | | Agreeableness | | Conscientiousness | | ..> ..>..>..> | You are introverted, reserved, and quiet with a preference for solitude and solitary activities. Your socializing tends to be restricted to a few close friends. You can be very easily upset, even by what most people consider the normal demands of living. People consider you to be extremely sensitive and emotional. A desire for tradition does not prevent you from trying new things. Your thinking is neither simple nor complex. To others you appear to be a well-educated person but not an intellectual. People see you as tough, critical, and uncompromising and you have less concern with others' needs than with your own. You like to live for the moment and do what feels good now. Your work tends to be careless and disorganized.
