New photography blog, Shooting the Kids

Here is my gratuituous blog plug for the day. My talented husband and I are working on a project about digital photography. Come visit our site! It's called Shooting the Kids.

You don't have to have kids to enjoy it. Just just have to like photography and want to learn more. We're still getting more content on there daily, so come back often. Bookmark, and the universe will smile.

Thanks for your support,
Amy

p.s. You can still find my blog about life as a mom at Girl's Life.

Girl's Life
Current mood: sleepy

I know I haven't been the quickest about getting back to everyone with emails and phone calls and what not. So check out my blog, Girl's Life, to catch up on the latest with me and the fam. I'll be back to my normal life and communications someday...maybe. After I get through my stack of eleventy six books about parenting, infants and baby butt paste. (There's really such a thing. Promise.)

Sophia
Current mood: ecstatic

The most beautiful baby in the world has just been born. Serioulsy, I'm not being biased at all. ;)

Her name is Sophia Adeline and she weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs. 5 oz. and was 23 inches long!! She was born on September 7 in Pasadena.

Labor was surprisingly fine - epidurals are freakin' rad.

Anyway, we're home now and getting used to life as a new family. Not sleeping has never been so much fun!!

Favorite words...
Current mood: tired

So I can't get over the fact that for some time my 3 favorite words (in no particular order) have been gubernatorial, percolator, and magma. Seriously, can you think of better sounding words than those? I know. It's hard. But feel free to try.
