I’m overweight

I know this sounds like a negative but considering I’ve speant pretty much my whole life as obese it is kind of a landmark weigh in this mornign when by BMI standards I became overweight which has been one of my personal goals over the last few months.  Granted BMI is a fairly superficial measure as BMI does not count percent of muscle but 2 weeks ago I also reached a personal goal of being able to Bench press my weight for the first time in my life.  I have had a higher bench press total before but have never been closer then being with in 30 lbs of my weight.

note: I am not looking for any compliments which breed complacency.  I think the most amusing part is when other overweight guys hear what I weigh and strive to lose weight because they begin to realize they may be close to being fatter then the fat guy.

So here is where I once was, near my peak weight of 370lbs about 10 years ago.  With a BMI of 51

I still want to keep going and my upcoming goals are to break 200 lbs, do a Pull-up, fit into a size large. And ultimatley reach a normal BMI which would require me to reach a weight of 178.5 or about another 40lbs (jesus christ)

Okay, I’m off to the gym.

Todd memed me and now I must do the following:

1.I have strong tools to work with on stage, a powerful voice, large presence, naturaly animated.

2.I know a lot of the general rules and like to experiment ways to approprietly break them

3.I can be a quick study learning my lines and/or blocking efficiently in a short period of time.

4.I can adapt to different situations and understand a scene so I know how best to improvise in a situation if something goes wrong.

5.I really spend a lot of time understanding my roles position int he text and different ways to present the text. Is that two seperate ideas, oh well.

Kurt Vonnegut Jr. will live forever

I've never been one to take much notice of the passing of the famous, in fact to large extent I find the public's fascination with it rather annoying.  But when I saw the news when I came home from rehearsals tonight this actually made me a bit sad and nistolgic.  But alas, perhaps some day we can become unstuck in time and revisit his time again, or maybe they will preserve his body on Ice 9 until they can reverse the damage from his fall.
