5:51 PM - "Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be Done!"
Category: Religion and Philosophy

Change is certainly happening, no one can deny the economic shattering that is taking place. These times ahead are weakening, as we are headed for a crash.
All too much to our own dismay, the future looks bleak with growing debt, and
failing Banks.  This is the scene for the world we occupy, grim and desolate times are creeping in. We will see a worsening of the things happening all around.

God is Merciful, He has given us time to prepare ourselves through signs of the times, and through His words of prophecy.

Christians who understand through preparation of knowing Gods Word of the last days, are not at all surprised with what this world has become. Yet there are numerous leaders who seem to ignore these signs, that we are living at the end of time.  Unbelief runs rampet behind many pulpits, acting as if God is not going to allow these things happen.  The all too common congregations here in the free world, want to stay in their comfort and wealth.

We had better begin to wake up to reality, not only in what we are seeing happen to this nation, but also what is happening around the world.  The Bible for most Christians, is a word from the past, and end time prophecy does not apply to this day we live in. (I'm not one of them!) God needs a people who Love and obey Him above all else.  He is looking for an Army that will keep His every command.

This is no longer about Sunday meetings, it's about what God has Been showing
us in preparation for grim times we are now coming into.  Above all things, Love
the Lord your God, as we will be the only Hope left standing in a world of turmoil.

We will be the ones that will stand and not denounce our faith unto death.

Saints, this is a reality check for us, and God through Jesus has given us all that
is needed for the times we face.  There is coming a time very soon that computers will be confiscated, churches and Bibles will be burnt, some will be gathered and thrown into prison, and some are to be executed.  What part of the "Great Tribulation" don't we understand? This article is not to put fear of the world in you, it should put the fear of God in all of us.  He is no respecter of anyone, God will honor those who obey and are sold out to Him with complete repentance of heart.  It is all about Love, not a Love of this world, but a full Love that includes discipline from Him.

God is about to do something so radical, that the religious spirited church will become our enemies. We will see many who stand in church, go against many of us.  We will be the ones whom God spoke about being persecuted.  If we believe that being persecuted means to be made fun of, or offended, I'm afraid we have a big surprise coming.

This article in hopes, will shake us to reality that the days we face are not
someone's concept, but the Words of Almighty God, prophesied throughout His word.  These are serious times we are headed into, and Gods Mercy will be lifted for many who refuse to accept His Son, but to those who persevere, His Grace will increase.

Many will become completely demon controlled, with murder in their eyes towards Christians.

Gods call in this hour is Preparation, as I believe "In One Day" a sudden and drastic collapse will come upon this nation. There is also Good news, that God has His trump card, it to will come "In One Day". His trump card ,,,,,,, the Later Day Rain.  Gods Holy Fire will protect those who have been grounded in their First Love of Christ.

We will see that Great revival, or "Great Harvest" we have waited for so long to come. The Heart of God is that we all conform to His Son by His Holy Spirit. It is all about Loving Him and our fellow man.

This is the Kingdom of God who lives in each believer, and is at hand, for those who would otherwise go off into eternal hell.  Jesus came to set us free and to save us from the fiery pit of everlasting. Those words are not popular even in the church.  But they are a reality weather you believe it or not.  To say these things I've said, have not been easy for me, but I must fear the Lord, and not men.
I will someday stand before God as to what I believed, and what I did for His Son. I won't stand before any man, nor woman, and if I am found disobedient to His word, I'm in deep doo doo.

My heart is that none that I have come to know would stand anywhere else other than in Christ, Covered in His Blood, Forever redeemed and found worthy.  God has shown this sinner, who was an enemy to Him, His Love for me beyond words.  His has given me such a peace through His Spirit, that all that is written about the coming days, I look forward to.  I look forward to seeing and helping those who were lost, be turned around and be saved forever.

I look forward not at destruction, but at reconstruction.
I look forward to the Kingdom
of God be manifest as it were in Jesus day.
This is not about anything other than
"Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven!"

Great Days are ahead!!

Blessings to all,
Michael 'Mikey' Thompson

10:14 PM - A Prayer for You!
Category: Religion and Philosophy

Father, in the Name of Jesus, bless me even while I'm reading this prayer and bless the one that sent this to me in a special way. Open doors in our lives today, Save and set free! Give us a double portion of your Spirit as we take back everything that the devil has stolen: emotional health, physical health, finances, relationships, children, jobs, homes, and marriages. I cancel every plot, plan and scheme the enemy has devised Against us in the name of Jesus and I declare: NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US WILL PROSPER. I speak LIFE into every dead situation, and I thank you that nothing is over until YOU say it's over! Speak prophetically into our lives and to our situations: our households are blessed, our health is blessed, our marriages are blessed, our finances are blessed, our relationships are blessed, our businesses are blessed, our jobs are blessed, our children are blessed, our grandchildren are blessed, our parents are blessed, our siblings are blessed, our ministries are blessed, our decisions are blessed, our friends are blessed. Mortgages are paid and debts canceled; our hearts' desires are on the way, according to YOUR perfect will and plan for our lives. You said you'd never forsake us...in Jesus' name. Amen.

Say this prayer, and then send it to everyone you know...within hours, countless people will have prayed for you, and you will have caused a multitude of people to pray to God for each other.
'Safety is not the absence of danger, but is the presence of God'

God rocks our world.
Love from Jesus and God bless!!!!!!!!!

9:16 PM - Dear Friends
Category: Religion and Philosophy

Every good and perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of the
heavenly lights, who does not change
like shifting shadows.
          ( James 1:17 *NIV )

Dear Friends,
There may be times we feel we are not blessed, times when
our troubles surround us.  When we feel that way we should
take a good look around us, for then we will see many others
who have much less then we do.  So counting our blessing
 should be a daily event.

Now It is important to remember that our many blessings are
from our Heavenly Father.  Therefore we should count our
 many blessings and thank Him for them daily;
Always giving
 thanks
to God the Father for everything,
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
 ( Ephesians 5:20 )

Now the following words sums this up much better then I could!
They are the written words of an old song.  I hope that you will
enjoy it as much as I do.

                     DRINKING FROM MY SAUCER

                         I've never made a fortune
And its probably to late now,
But I don't worry about that much
                         I'm happy anyhow.

And as I go along life's way
I'm reaping better than I sow.
                         I'm drinking from my saucer
                         'Cause my cup has overflowed!

Haven't got a lot of riches
                         And sometimes the going's tough,
But I've got loving ones around me
And that makes me rich enough.

I thank God for His blessings
                         And the mercies He's bestowed.
                         I'm drinking from my saucer
                         'Cause my cup has overflowed!

Oh, I remember times when things went wrong
And my faith wore somewhat thin.
But all at once the dark clouds broke
                         And sun peeped through again.

So Lord, help me not to gripe
About the tough rows that I've hoed.
                         I'm drinking from my saucer
                         "Cause my cup has overflowed!

If God gives me strength and courage
When the way grows steep and rough,
I'll not ask for other blessings
                         I'm already blessed enough.

And may I never be too busy
To help others bear their loads,
Them I'll keep drinking from my saucer
                         'Cause my cup has overflowed!

From a song by: Michael Combs

     Therefore;
Thanks be to God for His wonderful
gifts.
For through Him all blessings flow indeed.  Amen!

( 2 Corinthians 9:15 )

All My Love & Prayers,
        Michele

6:43 PM - We are to listen carefully to biblical prophecies, but we are not to become obsessed with them!
Category: Religion and Philosophy

for those of you who have not seen this.

We are to listen carefully to biblical prophecies, but we are not to become obsessed with them.

by David Wilkerson | October 27, 2008

October 27, 2008
For years, I have been faithfully warning of a soon-to-come worldwide economic holocaust. Right now, we are seeing this coming to pass around the globe. I have warned that Christians are going to suffer, that there will be great loss and hardship, and already this is happening. Multitudes of precious saints all over the word are now enduring great financial and mental stress.

As awful as these things are, none of them should be the focus of our energies and ministry. Rather, we must continue proclaiming the love of God the Father and the tender mercy of our Savior Jesus for us.

I know the American lifestyle — indeed, the lifestyles of those in every prosperous nation — are about to change permanently. I know everything is reeling and shaking. But when I get up in the morning, I don't worry, "What are we going to eat? What are we going to wear? What about heat, light, security?" Jesus warned us not to do that.

Instead, when I go to bed at night, I rest in my Father's love. The fact is, I know I am not God and that he alone is in control of all these things. I simply do what the prophet Isaiah did: he put his mind to rest by fully trusting in his Lord. This prophet declared to believers in every age, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee" (Isaiah 26:3). God cannot lie.

Scripture makes it clear: we are to be alerted and warned by the prophetic messages delivered by godly watchmen. Likewise, we are to heed every prophetic message revealed and confirmed in Scripture. In short, we are to gather all the knowledge we can about the oncoming storms, so we can prepare our hearts for whatever we will face.

But we are not to let fear or anxiety consume our thinking, dominate our minds or take hold of our hearts. Darkness is certainly coming and judgment is at our very door. But as God's people, we cannot allow any cloud of darkness to hide the great light of his promises of love and mercy toward his people. We must be well informed by God's Word and his prophets, but we are not to dwell on prophetic knowledge so much that it takes over our lives.

The devil would love for this to happen. He knows he can't get us to doubt the Lord's Word concerning judgment, so he will attempt to take us to another extreme and drive us to a fearful obsession with perilous times.

Simply put, Satan wants to rob you of all hope by consuming you with foreboding thoughts. But you cannot figure out the future through being totally preoccupied with this. In reality, it can get you bogged down in fear and obsessing about frightful events.

The apostle Paul reassures us with this instruction: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" (Philippians 4:8, my italics).

In other words: "You have heard all the warnings. Now, take heed to what God's Word reveals and to what his watchmen are saying. And, finally, fix your thoughts on Jesus and his goodness.
"

In a time when great judgments were falling on the nation all around him, Isaiah testified he had a double portion of peace.

The same wonderful outlook that Isaiah had in the perilous times of his day is available to us also. This promise of rest applies to "all whose minds are stayed on him.
"

Isaiah was overwhelmed by what he saw happening in the world around him. But Scripture reveals he enjoyed great peace.
How did he come into such a place of peace, with everything he saw? There were two reasons for it:

First, as judgments were poised to strike the nations, Isaiah was in constant communion with God in prayer. "Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee" (Isaiah 26:8). Isaiah was prepared for anything because he was already "praying without ceasing.
"

I must ask you: as the storm rages, are you going to the Lord in prayer, as Isaiah did? If you are, then you're gaining strength, because your mind is becoming fixed on your sovereign heavenly Father's love, and he is continually revealing his power to you and encouraging you that you'll make it through.

It is not God's will that any of his children face the perilous times ahead with paralyzing fear.

The Lord does not desire that biblical prophecies and warnings frighten us. Instead, here is Jesus' heart on the matter, stated very plainly: "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John 14:27).

In Matthew's Gospel, Jesus prophesied of world events to come that sounded frightful. He spoke of wars, pestilence, earthquakes in various places. And he warned his hearers, "You are going to be afflicted, and some of you will even be killed. Iniquity will abound. False prophets and messiahs shall arise deceiving many.
"

Later in Matthew, Jesus explains his reasons for forewarning of these catastrophic events. He says he told us these things so we would believe in him when we saw them coming to pass.

Jesus wasn't trying to put a burden of fear on us. Rather, he simply doesn't want us to be surprised when we are hit by awful storms. He doesn't want our faith to be shipwrecked when suddenly we face incredible suffering. Most of all, he wants us to believe there is a Lord over all these awful things, a Father who is loving enough to warn us about them and keep us through them all.

Isaiah preached hope in perilous times.

Isaiah was looking beyond all the things that were happening, toward a greater vision God had given him.
In this vision, Isaiah saw the Lord coming to wipe away the tears of his children, remove their burdens and deliver them from all guilt and fear:

"It shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation… He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it" (Isaiah 25:9, 8).

Here is the second reason Isaiah had come into a place of peace despite all the upheaval around him. He was saying to us — indeed, to believers of every age — in effect: "You who live in the very last days can also have this double portion of peace. Abandon yourself to simple trust in the Lord, your Rock.
"

"Trust ye in the Lord at all times: for in the Lord Jehovah is [your] everlasting strength" (26:4). "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation" (12:2).

God does have a word of hope for this hour.

For many months, I have searched and studied the Scriptures, pleading with the Lord to give me a message of hope and encouragement for these hard times. My spirit has cried out, "Lord, please speak a word to my heart for your children, for you alone have the words of eternal life. Only you can speak a word of comfort to us in such times.
"

The Holy Spirit answered my prayer, speaking the following to my heart: "I am going to give you a single promise from my Word. And if you will commit your very life to it, this word will keep you through any and all perilous times.
"

Beloved, I know if we will especially embrace this one verse, fully believing it, it will be a daily power-source of faith.
Here is the promise the Spirit showed me:

"YOUR FATHER KNOWETH WHAT THINGS YE HAVE NEED OF, BEFORE YE ASK HIM" (Matthew 6:8).

In Luke 12, Jesus enumerates the things he says our heavenly Father knows we need. Those needs are, in short, food, drink and clothing. "Therefore, I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on… If then God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?" (Luke 12:22, 28).

Jesus speaks of grass that is full and green today but tomorrow is cut down. He would have us remember he gave it life and care. We dare not think he cares for our needs less than for grass. He knows full well what we need, whether it is food, finances or clothes.

Jesus added, "All these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things" (12:30). Again Christ reminds us, "Here is all you need to know: your heavenly Father knows what your needs are. He has already enumerated them.
"

My theme now is this: GOD KNOWS, AND THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS.

God will never abandon his "little flock.
"
Jesus promises, "Rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock" (Luke 12:31–32). If we will simply trust him, our Lord will bless us with all we need.

If you are concerned for your family's welfare in the coming days, I have good news for you: Your children are God's children. And he cares for your loved ones more than you do. Jesus knows exactly what you all need to survive.

HE KNOWS ABOUT YOUR NEED TO HAVE A ROOF OVER YOUR HEAD. HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT YOUR RENT BILL OR MORTGAGE PAYMENT IS EACH MONTH. HE KNOWS ABOUT THE MOUTHS YOU HAVE TO FEED AND THE AMOUNT OF FOOD IN YOUR CUPBOARD. YOU CAN TRUST HIM FULLY TO MEET ALL OF THESE NEEDS, BECAUSE HE PROMISES TO DO IT.

Tragically, many people are going to grow bitter in the coming days because God won't answer their prayers to protect their present lifestyle. Many have never known the kind of suffering we now face.

But the Lord says to rich and poor alike, "Don't fret about your worldly possessions. Give me quality time and trust me. I am going to take care of all your future needs. You will be supplied all the essentials you need to get by.
"

There is one lesson every believer must learn and practice.

At this moment, world events are moving so fast that nobody can keep up with them. Even as I write these words, the American stock market has lost billions. The implications of such things are too deep and complex to fathom.

Our faith is anchored in this: OUR HEAVENLY FATHER KNOWS US — HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED AND WHEN WE NEED IT — AND THE VERY FACT HE KNOWS IS PROOF ENOUGH THAT WE ARE UNDER HIS CARE. HE DELIGHTS IN US, AND WE ARE SNUGGLED IN HIS BOSOM, SAFE AND SOUND.

Daniel said of the Lord: "He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him" (Daniel 2:22). God knows all about the dark days ahead. And he knows that even this darkness cannot obscure his face from us.

Indeed, our clear path through hard times will be found only in trusting the Lord. He is calling us today to have a simple, childlike trust in his faithfulness.

Let us all keep our eyes on Jesus. Let us trust his great love and care for us. "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you" (1 Peter 5:7).

5:49 PM - 7 Characteristics of false Teachers
Category: Religion and Philosophy

7 Characteristics of false Teachers

by Thomas Brooks  (1608-1680)

That Satan labours might and main, by false teachers, which are his messengers and ambassadors, to deceive, delude, and for ever undo the precious souls of men (Acts 20:28-30; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Eph. 4:14; 2 Tim. 3:4-6; Titus 1:11,12; 2 Peter 2:18,19): "I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err" (Jer. 23:13). "The prophets make my people to err" (Micah 3:5). They seduce them, and carry them out of the right way into by-paths and blind thickets of error, blasphemy, and wickedness, where they are lost forever. "Beware of false prophets, for they come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves" (Mat. 7:15). These lick and suck the blood of souls: "Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision" (Phil. 3:2). These kiss and kill; these cry, Peace, peace, till souls fall into everlasting flames, &c., Proverbs 7.

Now, the best way to deliver poor souls from being deluded and destroyed by these messengers of Satan is, to discover them in their colors, that so, being known, poor souls may shun them, and fly from them as from hell itself.

Now you may know them by these characters following:

THE FIRST CHARACTER

False teachers are men-pleasers (Gal. 1:10; 1 Thess. 2:1-4). They preach more to please the ear than to profit the heart: "Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophecy no unto us right things: speak to us smooth things; prophecy deceits"' (Isa. 30:10). "A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land: the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means, and my people love to have it so. And what will you do in the end thereof?" (Jer. 5:30,31). They handle holy things rather with wit and dalliance (playful come-on) then with fear and reverence. False teachers are soul-undoers. They are like evil chirurgeons, that skin over the wound, but never heal it. Flattery undid Ahab and Herod, Nero and Alexander. False teachers are hell's greatest enrichers. Non acerba, sed blanda, Not bitter, but flattering words do all the mischief, said Valerian, the Roman emperor. Such smooth teachers are sweet soul-poisoners (Jer. 23:16,17).

THE SECOND CHARACTER

False teachers are notable in casting dirt, scorn, and reproach upon the persons, names, and credits of Christ's most faithful ambassadors. Thus Korah, Dathan, and Abiram charged Moses and Aaron that they took too much upon them, seeing all the congregation was holy (Num. 16:3). You take too much state, too much power, too much honour, too much holiness upon you; for what are you more than others, that you take so much upon you? And so Ahab's false prophets fell foul on good Micaiah, paying of him with blows for want of better reasons (1 Kings 22:10-26). Yea, Paul, that great apostle of the Gentiles, had his ministry undermined and his reputation blasted by false teachers: "For his letters"' say they, "are weighty and powerful, but his bodily presence is weak and contemptible" (2 Cor. 10:10). They rather contemn him than admire him; they look upon him as a dunce rather than a doctor. And the same hard measure had our Lord Jesus from the Scribes and Pharisees, who laboured as for life to build their own credit upon the ruins of his reputation. And never did the devil drive a more full trade this way than he does in these days (Matt. 27:63). Oh! the dirt, the filth, the scorn that is thrown upon those whom the world is not worthy. I suppose false teachers mind not that saying of Austin, Quisquis volens detrahit famae, nolens addit mercedi meae, He that willingly takes from my good name, unwillingly adds to my reward.

THE THIRD CHARACTER

False teachers are venters of the devices and visions of their own heads and hearts. "Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent then not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophecy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart (Jer. 14:14); "Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Harken not unto the words of the prophets that prophecy unto you; they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord" (Jer. 23:16). Are there not multitudes in this nation whose visions are but golden delusions, lying vanities, brain-sick phantasies? These are Satan's great benefactors, and such as divine justice will hang up in hell as the greatest malefactors, if the physician of souls does not prevent it.

THE FOURTH CHARACTER

False teachers easily pass over the great and weighty things both of law and gospel, and stand most upon those things that are of the least moment and concernment to the souls of men. "Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned; from which some have swerved, have turned aside unto vain jangling, desiring to be teachers of the law, and understand neither what they say nor whereof they affirm" (1 Tim. 1:5-7). "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint, and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith; these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone" (Matt. 23:2,3). False teachers are nice in the lesser things of the law, and as negligent in the greater. "If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strife of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, perverse disputings of men corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself" (1 Tim. 6:3-5). If such teachers are not hypocrites in grain, I know nothing, Romans 2:22. The earth groans to bear them, and hell is fitted for them, Matt. 24:32.

THE FIFTH CHARACTER

False teachers cover and color their dangerous principles and soul-impostures with very fair speeches and plausible pretenses, with high notions and golden expressions. Many in these days are bewitched and deceived, viz. illumination, revelation, deification, fiery triplicity, &c. As strumpets paint their faces, and deck and perfume their beds, the better to allure and deceive simple souls (Gal. 6:12; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rom. 16:17,18; Mat. 16:6,11,12; 7:15), so false teachers will put a great deal of paint and garnish upon their most dangerous principles and blasphemies, that they may the better deceive and delude poor ignorant souls. They know sugared poison goes down sweetly; they wrap up their pernicious, soul-killing pills in gold.

THE SIXTH CHARACTER

False teachers strive more to win over men to their opinions, than to better them in their conversations. "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves" (Matt. 24:17). They busy themselves most about men's heads. Their work is not to better men's hearts, and mend their lives; and in this they are very much like their father the devil, who will spare no pains to gain proselytes.

THE SEVENTH CHARACTER

False teachers make merchandise of their followers. "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not" (2 Peter 2:1-3). They eye your goods more than your good; and mind more the serving of themselves, than the saving of your souls. So they may have your substance, they care not though Satan has your souls (Rev. 18:11-13). That they may the better pick your purse, they will hold forth such principles as are very indulgent to the flesh. False teachers are the great worshippers of the golden calf (Jer. 6:13).

Now, by these characters you may know them, and so shun them, and deliver your souls out of their dangerous snares; which that you may, my prayers shall meet-yours at the throne of grace.

Thanks for responding Michele,

I'm hesitant to send this out any more. After I sent it to you yesterday, I felt that was the wrong thing to do. Sorry.

I found out today that there was a prophecy in a Longview church last Sunday that Obama and his family would be saved while in office. I hope this to be true. With all the financial mess that is going on right now, a lot of people are on edge. I guess you could say that includes me.
We just have to keep hope that God is in control.

Thanks for your conversation. I know that you are a Blessing to so many.

Michele,

I have noticed that several of your blogs relate to prophecy. I know there are a lot of kooks out there that just try to get attention. I received an email from my dad on a person who had a heaven experience. My dad received it from a person he met in Branson a couple of weeks back.

I'm not sure exactly how to take it. If you feel that it is inapropriate, please delete and forgive me for sending it. If you feel it is ok to publish, that would be fine with me.

Thanks

Terry

12:16 AM - The weightiest thing that matters to God—His desire for His bride.
Current mood: EXPECTING!
Category: EXPECTING! Religion and Philosophy

The main fire, the main passion of God, is for His bride. Understand that this was the main thing on God's heart when He created the universe—His bride, who would be His eternal companion. To understand the ages and ages in which this fire had existed without change, but also to understand both His patience and His resolve to have His bride. This is the main reason that He created the universe, and it is the main reason for its existence.

God loves His creation, both the spiritual and the natural. He loves every angel and every creature, which is why He notices when even a single sparrow falls to the ground. Even so, His first love is for His bride. Though He loves the earth and all of creation, it was His bride that was on His heart when He became a man and when He went to the cross.

This fire does not consume matter because its source is spiritual—it is a heart fire. It is what burns on God's heart. This is what gives life and is the source of life. This is why eternal life is to know Him, which is to know His heart. This was the fire which was in the burning bush that God talked to Moses through. The passion that burns on God's heart for His people is what was imparted to Moses. There is so much life in this fire, which has burned from eternity. It imparted such life to Moses that when God took him at one hundred and twenty years old, he had not physically deteriorated. This is also the fire that accompanies the true baptism in the Holy Spirit. It is the passion for what is on God's heart. It is now coming to the earth again because it is time for God's people to be set free, to leave their bondage and cross over to their promised land, their inheritance.

Moses was not rejuvenated by just seeing or being close to the burning bush, but by taking upon his own heart that which was on God's heart. Again, this is a heart fire, a spiritual fire. It is not by seeing the fire, or being close to it physically, but by uniting with what is on His heart. That which is burning on the heart of God has been there from eternity—it is indestructible and will never die. As we take what is on His heart on to our hearts, that same indestructible life is in us. This is what it really means to know God, to know the deepest things on His heart, and to share these with Him in His ultimate purposes. We do not need to have a prophetic experience to do this, but just be a seeker of God. The true seekers of God, those who are truly close to Him, will burn with a fire that is unquenchable. They will not be lukewarm.

Again, there is nothing weightier, there is nothing that has more substance, energy, power, or life in it, than being united with God in what is on His heart. This is the ultimate quest of man, to be one with God, to have His heart. It says in Psalm 103:7, "He made known His ways to Moses, Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel." Moses was used to perform some of the greatest miracles God has performed through a man, yet Moses wanted to know God's ways, not just His acts. He wanted to be united with the Lord in what was on His heart, not just know what He was doing. We also see this in Exodus 33:12-16.

This is one of the most basic truths that must be recovered by the church so that she can come into her full purpose and stature, to become the pure and spotless bride that He is worthy to have. Programs and good works can be noble endeavors because we were also created for good works, but they are not the main thing. The main thing is to love God and to love what He loves, and hate what He hates. The basic calling for every Christian is to become like Him and do the works that He did. We become like Him by seeing His glory.

The works come from His nature. He does not want us to just be used to heal the sick, but to be used to heal them for the same reason He healed them— He loves people. However, if we do not love God more than we love people, we cannot love people the way that we should. It has been said that anyone will quit except for the one who is in love. Commitment, duty, honor, devotion to good works, and devotion to the truth are all good things and can help to keep us on the path of life, but when the ultimate test comes, only those who love will stand, only those who love will stay the course.

The greatest passion of God, the fire that burns in His heart, is for His bride, the church. This fire is going to touch the earth again, and those who are His messengers will burn with it. They will arise with this passion to see the bride make herself ready. A new breed of ministry is being commissioned now. These are the true friends of the bridegroom. These will be spiritual eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom. A eunuch cannot have a desire for the bride or to use her for his own purposes; rather, his whole satisfaction comes from seeing the King's satisfaction with His bride—this will be their passion.

The new breed of ministry will not rape the bride; their whole purpose will be to help the bride make herself ready for the King. The new breed of ministry will not use the people to build their ministries, they will use their ministries to build people. This will result in a revolution in the church. Selfish ambition will be driven from the ministry of the church. Christians will begin to love each other and serve out of love. The result of this will be a society of saints who will become a marvel in the earth and a true light to the world.

Those who understand the times are not nearly as focused on what the devil is doing as they are on what the Lord is doing. The greatest sign that the end of the age is near will be the bride emerging in the glory that she is called to walk in. The Lord will not come until His bride is ready. Her preparation for the greatest of all events, the union of Christ with His bride, will accelerate as we get closer to the end of this age.

First of all, congrats. to our new african-american, president elect.  Even though I did not vote for him, I commend him for his achievement.  However, I find it so sad that people, especially christians, can put so much faith in a man, one person to change the tide in this country; whether it is Obama, McCain or anyone else.  The only thing that can change the way this country is going is to have a change of heart in the people, something which only God can do.  And, we must also stand with Israel,  this is an area I felt Bush fell short on.  And, I'm afraid it will be even worse now with Obama.  Blessed are those who stand with Israel;  as a country and as individuals.  I'm afraid we will see the hand of God against this nation in the coming years because of our stand towards Israel and our continued shedding of innocent blood on the altar of abortion.  But, I cannot put all fault on our country and government.  Because God has given authority in the earth to His Church and if we would do 2Chronicles 7:14 and become the true Church of God in the earth then we could really see change in our nation.  The church has become so self-centered, prayerless and prospersity seeking that it no longer walks in the power and authority of God in this earth.  We as the Church must make a change in order to see true change in our country.  Stop hating on one another and name calling.  Honestly, I saw during this election the outright hatred and unloving attitude of many christians and is truly saddens my heart.  Let's pray for those in authority, no matter who it is.  After all, isn't that what the Word of God commands us to do.  Then, lets love each other; "by this shall men know you are my disciples, by the LOVE you have ONE FOR ANOTHER; not the love we have for the world, but one another.  Lift others up in prayer, help those in need; especiallly those who are of the household of faith.  Let's begin to be the church God has called us to be and then we will see real change.  I realize there are things that must happen because the Word of God must be fulfilled, however, if we turn our faces to the wall and begin to call on God maybe we can lessed the blow.  Let's get out of selfishness, greed and it's all about me and what I want.  After all, the Kingdom of God is not in word only but in a demonstration of POWER.  Where is the power?  Where is the anointing that destroys yokes?  Let's stop just having church and begin to be the church.  I pray that the Body of Christ will get in place, support and pray for those in authority and not bash them.  Like I said Obama was not my choice but I will respect the office he will hold and will pray  that the Spirit of God will open his eyes to God's truth.  May God bless each person that has read this blog and I pray you understand what I was trying to say.  My love, Lola

8:57 PM - "I WANT PEOPLE TO TRUST IN ME" SAYS THE LORD!
Current mood: blessed
Category: Religion and Philosophy

From: ღஜ Peggy ஜღ
Date: Oct 31, 2008 9:06 AM

"I want my people to trust in me. They cry out for miracles, but still try to shoulder everything themselves. They cry out for light then balk when it gets dark. They want my heart, but won't rest on my chest. Many things are shifting this is very true, but didn't I cause Egypt to shift? I shifted Egypt so that she would let her hands off of my people. And I took my people through many frightening events when I allowed Pharaoh's heart to be hardened. Why did I do that? Am I a fickle God? No. I am not.

I allowed it so that all the pride and arrogance of Pharaoh would rise to the top. So with my mighty hand and with a flick of my wrist I could completely remove that dross. I let the Egyptian people rise up in pride in accordance with their trust in their gods. Only to sweep even that away so that they could see with their eyes, hear with their ears and know in their hearts that I AM. Did I not love Egypt? Yes, I loved Egypt with tough love! They did not forget MY love.
They did NOT forget ME!

And my people saw wonders. Their hearts were stricken and fearful, but I proved myself to them by my acts. I kept them in my light when Egypt was pitch black. I tell you Egypt saw a lighted city in those dark days, and they longed to draw NEAR to the light! I preserved my people's food and water. I kept death from devouring those who were under MY BLOOD. And I led them to a rock cove and the sea and I allowed Pharaoh to rise up once again to pursue them. So that I could utterly destroy.

And MY FAME went out into the nations. For YEARS the nations feared my rag tag group of weaklings. Former slaves! Because my FAME was so great.
My PRESENCE was known!

"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any nation."(Psalm 14:34) I DON'T Bless SIN.
I extend much GRACE, but I don't bless sin! And yet my grace is a blessing! How is this? My MERCY is a blessing! But I HATE Sin!

Do you think I am only shifting America? No. Wake up Europe! Wake up Africa! Wake up Asia! Wake up oh Islands! For my eye also traverses your nations. You who look to America.
Is America your god? Have you forgotten me? Have you become so entangled in America that you've turned your back on me? Have you looked to
