CARPE NOCTURNE’s 2008 Gothic / Industrial / Cyber Model Search!
Current mood: confident
Category: Fashion, Style, Shopping
Gothic - Industrial – Cyber Models Wanted Male and Female Worldwide
SUBMISSIONS OPEN APRIL 1st 2008 through May 31st, 2008.
Carpe Nocturne is once again seeking Goth / Industrial / Cyber Models for it’s Goth of the Month Feature. This year’s model search is open to aspiring and professional models and people who simply enjoy dressing the part from around the world! Ages 17 and over; under 17 need parent or guardian’s permission.
The last time we posted (about a year ago) the response was awesome and we had a model for every month for the last year! We’re hoping to do that again for this year!
Goth of the Month features 1 model a month (male or female and you don’t have to be a professional model) with a profile put together by the model answering an easy and short questionnaire and attaching 6 to 14 photos of yourself. If approved, your profile and photos will appear in Carpe Nocturne’s "Goth of the Month" Feature read worldwide.
Some do it for fun, some do it for their portfolio but it’s a non-paid gig as Carpe Nocturne is a totally volunteer run publication dedicated to supporting and covering "The New Dark Culture."
Carpe Nocturne has been a supporter of The Blacksun Festival (New Haven, CT) for 3 years running, the Eccentrik Festival (Raleigh, NC) for 2 years running and the Darkstar Festival ( Stamford, CT.), Carpe Nocturne is a respected on-line publication putting a positive light on our scene and culture.
If you are interested, write us at Publisher@CarpeNocturne.com and put "Goth of the Month" in the E-Mail’s subject line. For starters, provide us with 1 to 3 pictures and request the Questionnaire and information.
Thank You and Good Luck!

GOT MY TATTOO FINALLY!
Current mood: accomplished
OK, I stopped chickening out, being a pussy or whatever you want to call it and got my first tattoo thanks to Ken and Americana Pop Tattoo Company in Boston, MA! We are doing a feature on them in December and they offered me a tattoo... I hesitated but my staff photographer, Lindsay Meredith, who has tons of tattoos, kinda nudged me along and I agreed....
I'll have a photo of it up here within the next couple of days in my photo area... Otherwise, you'll see it in the Mid-December issue in the Body Art Feature of Carpe Nocturne Magazine online at www.carpenocturne.com and Indie IN-TUNE Magazine online at www.indieintune.com!
