Butt Floss
Why do I always feel guilty about getting involved when I'm concerned? Is it because I feel bad about hurting my friends even though there in the wrong? I want to take the time to apologize to those I've pissed of or disapointed in the past few months. Whether I'm right or wrong, I'm sorry about what I've done and I hope my apologies are enough to temporarily soothe the pain I've caused you.

Religion...why is it so hard?
Current mood: annoyed
Category: Religion and Philosophy
When it comes to religion, people cringe to think about it. I got the idea for this from a post and it really gave me insight into how screwed up and hyporcritical people really are.
It's always easy for people to fall asleep in church, but some people find it much easier to watch porn on TV and really forget all about their morals. Most people are raised around church, but leave it there after sunday morning. If you're going to be so devout, actually apply what you leared in your house of worship to your everyday lifestyle.
I've seen people who claim to be religious go and swear more than a nonchrisitan. (me, i swear in most of my sentences. it's one of my bad habits.) To be honest, it disapoints me. So many young people who are oversheltered (like me), tend to rebel and end up in bad situations, much like me. But the point is, those of you who are should be an example to the rest of your straying friends by showing that you do have the guts to be yourself.
Another thing people learn in church is to be independent. But I've seen too many of my friends conform to society's mold. They develop problems with alcohol and drugs, which leads to the questioning of their faith. I rejected religion because of tragedy in my family and I'm still trying to find my way.
The point is, I'm not a preecher and I don't want to offend anybody. But I feel that people need to live up to their standards and be an example. Don't go with the crowd, be yourself, that's all that matters.

New Year, Fresh Start
Current mood: anxious
Category: School, College, Greek
Once again, it is time for school to begin. This means a new year, new girls I won't get, and a chance to redeem yourself for anything bad that happend the previous year. I myself am looking for a new beginning and a chance to truly be myself for once in my high shcool career.
As I expected, most of my friends returned. And this means another year of shinanigans from the birdie crew. I'd say that this year we should outdo anything we've done in the previous years and take our craziness to new levels. (this includes tormenting our freshman recruits) lol
But, I'm probably not going to take part in the hazing ceremonies cause I remember how tough it was as a freshman, and as a junior, I need to set an example for the younger ones.
I don't know what to expect from this year, but I have a feeling it will be the best year of high school so far.

Damn Simpsons Marketing
Current mood: aggravated
Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities
What is up with all the marketing for the new Simpsons movie? We all like the TV show as it is, and I'm sure the movie isn't half bad either. But why do they have to go overboard with the marketing and merchendising?
The Simpsons and been around for eighteen years and that makes it the longest running animated prime time television series. Part of the show's success has to be because it has always been easy to realate with the current times. But after all the toys and not to mention several video games, do we really need to convert our 7/11s int Kwik-E- marts with their own Springfield product lines? I don't think so.
The series is so well established that they don't even need a movie. The only reason I think they did the movie was so the show could compete with south park and family guy. But the brass tax is that they don't even need to compete with the other shows because the Simpsons is a long time staple of many american households. Other shows such as south park aren't even in the same league as the simpsons. Problem solved.
Don't get me wrong, though, south park and family guy are two of my favorite TV shows. All I'm saying is that the fox network just went a bit overboard with the marketing.

Everybody Loves Helium
As the flowers bloom in spring, so does the music program at VUHS. The band and choir put on and excellent stage show for the morons who have nothing better to do than see the best damn show that cochise county has to offer. We took a good 16 weeks or so to get the program together, and boy was it good. No one could possibly forget gitarzan or the monster mash. But I've gotta say that in the Mood was the best part of our show.
The food was about as nasty as possible, but the show totally made up for that part.
Our thursday matinee was pretty good, but we certainly needed improvement. Here comes the good part. After we put up chairs and cleaned up the mess that those little twats made, me, my friend courtney, and deanna saw morgan sucking the helium out of the balloons. I will never forget the squeakey words, "everybyody loves helium," that she said that day. so, we all joined in with funny phrases. Everyone lauged when I said, "don't get short with me mr. frodo."
After two more performance is three days, we had lots of helium sucking moments. The best thing about it is the high feeling you get from sucking too much helium. It's ironic because that feeling is caused by the lack of oxygen going to your brain.
Three chears for the death of braincells!

My sorry summer.
Category: Life
Before I post a super embarassing picture of Lady marie, I would like to talk about my sorry little summer...
It really kicked off when my sister Monica and one of her daughters came out here on July 18th. We picked 'em up at the Tucson airport. We had lunch in tucson and them we came back home. We were here for an hour or two, then we went down to the border to get smokes so my sis could feed her dirty habit. Then we left AZ so we could visit my sis marie in colorado. We left colorado on the 22nd and we spent the 36 most cramped hours of my life in da back of a Toyota Corolla. It was all good until we got to f**king effingham. Then our damn tire blew out. We waited for a couple hours to get the tire replace. then we got back to PA at like 6. Did I mention we drove all the freaking way through? Oh yeah, that's what I said, no stops at a hotel at all. It was in indiana that marie took those pics. Dang, them flies really filled me up. lol. Then we stayed in Pa till the first of august. Then me, mom, marie, and the dog went all the way through back to colorado until mom, me, and sam came home.
All in all, I'd say it was a good trip. I'd do it again. Anyway, then school started back up on the 9th.
School's been great. I'm in the choir, on the school paper as the features editor, and I've got a small share of friends. All of them (except the adults) on my page go to school with me.
So just wait, I should have that pic of marie and a fictional short story on here in a little while.

The second part of my philosopy speech.
Current mood: thoughtful
Category: Religion and Philosophy
As I stated in my previous blog, many of us will find peace internally and not in material possessions. It is such a childish idea that we can find satisfaction in material possessions. Fame and fortune are nothing if you are not mentally healthy.
At at least one time in our lives, we will turn around and ponder on the very point of our lives. We ask ourselves if we really are just another human and nothing else. Do we really have a purpose other than to continue in a crusade to destroy our own wold? I believe we do. Each of us has the potential to change the world forever. As stated in chaos theory, a butterfly beating its wings in Japan can cause a typhoon halfway across the world. But when does the butterfly know when does the butterfly know when to flap its wings?

Peace sells, but no one's buying.
Current mood: Philisophical
Category: Philisophical Religion and Philosophy
Why can't we live in a world of peace and harmony? It is because chaos is much much much more fun! I hate to say it, but I feel like I'm preeching to the choir.
In our screwed-up world, many of us feel lost and afraid, much like the puppy who lost his way (I love Billy Madison! Very good movie ). We wander through the carnage and gore, looking for answers to our profoundly deep questions. And within ourselves, we will find the answers.
I have gotten completely off the topic here and I'll post the second half of this later.

It's been a while
Current mood: tired
Well, it's been a while since I last posted a blog, so I suppose I should probably post a new one.
Summer vacation's been going pretty good since I've been playing texas hold 'em on Poker Stars to pass the time.
