Why the hell not?
Category: Quiz/Survey
Type your name in my blog comments. Once you do that, this is what I'll do for you...
1. I'll respond with something random about you. 2. I'll tell you which song or movie you remind me of. 3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle you in. 4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me. (if possible... if not, I'll say something that only makes sense to me.) 5. I'll tell you my first memory of you. 6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of. 7. I'll ask you something I've always wondered about you. 8. If you play, you MUST post this on yours. You MUST.

The Flag: A Rant
Current mood: amused
Category: News and Politics
~~U.S. Flag Code, Chapter 1, Sec. 8, rule (i): "The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard."~~ Wal-Mart; one of the deepest held organizations of any red-blooded, gun toting American. It has everything; cheap food, American flags, and illegal staffing and hiring procedures. Everything that we hold dear as an American civilization. But, in my travels to this Mecca of low cost merchandise, I found something that made my head spin. American flags on all sorts of objects; napkins, table-cloths, shirts, you name it. Outraged I asked the nearest cashier how he could stand seeing his flag being used in such a manner. The dirty liberal could only look at me, dazed and probably stoned, and cause my blood to boil with his answer, Its for the Fourth of July. Well, needless to say, I was shocked AND appalled! This sacred holiday is meant to be a celebration of Gods decision to love only America. And here I thought that burning the flag was my biggest problem. Rest assured readers, I wrote one heck of a letter and the problem should be solved soon. There are a lot of rules and regulations regarding the American flag. Many are broken everyday, even during a celebration of Americas independence. A law nearly passed to ban desecrating the flag in the Senate. 66 people actually voted to pass this law into the hands of Americans because they think the flags symbolism should not be mucked under any circumstances. Before we stop the flag burning, but definitely before we solve this whole war problem or cure that annoying itch that was New Orleans, maybe we should look at what we have already set as laws. Remember the Bill of Rights? Personally, I value my freedom as an American citizen more than a symbol of freedom.

Lol, I was kinda worried about it but now I feel a little better. The score isn't great, but I'm happy I didn't bomb like I thought I did. Ok then, bye.

Unearthed a Poem, why not let other read it?
The Righteous Ape
An Ape sits in the throne
Clutching a Crucifix in one hand
Grasping a pen in the other
With a scratch he signs us away
Our freedoms, our liberties, our “unalienable” rights
Oh, how righteous He is
Stripped bare, we wander this land
Pushed aside, by the followers of He
as this sickness spreads, in this Holy land
Disgusting, wrong, Rebels against God
We feel each word plunge into their minds
Oh, how righteous He is
The innocent are burned at the stake
The children of the ignorant
watching, waiting for their turn
To many, a new saying appears at her feet
“Abandon hope, all ye who enter”
Oh, how righteous He is
No one stands against the Ape,
their leaders fear for their... position
No man can persuade the Ape,
He silences all who oppose him
A holy land, plunged into hell
Oh, How righteous He is
“Love the sinner, Hate the sin”
