Unfortunately the hubbub around the VP pick is not over but the need to write is here.I've heard of Sarah Palin before she was picked she's been a person in my mind who would make a great VP.However I never thought in my wildest dreams she would have been picked.I liked Jindal as well but I feel that he was needed much more where he is currently.Perhaps Palin/Jindal in '16?
Sarah is a well accomplished woman.Motherhood is no easy task.Five kids she has but that is not everything she has done.Maybe motherhood alone doesn't qualify someone for the presidency but being one certainly doesn't disqualify one to aspire to the post.
That has been a reoccurring theme in the media that quite frankly in this day and age it blows my mind.There is also the talking point that she is neglecting her child to run for VP.There is the narrative that she is a token woman for the ticket.The conjecture that she was not vetted.
What boggles my mind is that a lot of the attacks on her for being a bad mother and a woman have been from women?And they've been high ranking feminists??I thought feminism was about women achieving in fields where only men have???Why aren't the feminists groups supporting her????
Well the answer to that last question is because she doesn't define her life by her genitalia.She has defined herself by her actions and deeds.She does not speak "just words"; she acts on those words. As to her not being vetted well the fact that I heard about Palin months ago from reading a story that a McCain operative gave and that was highlighted at Hotair.com I'd say that she was.She was spoken about quite highly but the media missed it.And because the Media Missed it they think she was vetted.They know nothing about this woman.NOTHING!! They have brought to light made up stories from the FAR-LEFT website the Daily Kos.They have repeated lies that were easily proved false with ONE simple phone call.The media have always been vicious to get the scoop but in the past 6 days especially over the weekend a vitriol of hatred came out that just can't be explained by trying to get facts.This woman is very likeable I've seen how she acts on the camera with the average Joe in the Alaska PODcast.
Sarah is a class act.I view her differently than most.I have a historical perspective I view her in.She is a strong woman.She has five kids.That alone can make a super-woman out of a woman.She hunts moose and fieldresses (guts) them herself.She runs marathons.She has been a mayor.She has been a PTA leader.She has sat on the legislative board of her town.She IS the governor of the largest state of America.She has brokered an international deal for a pipeline with Canada.She is bordered by two of foreign countries, both of which she has negotiated trade deals with.Sarah Palin is like a pioneer woman.She stands by her man but just as easily could stand in his place.If he fell she could just as easily pick up that gun and defend her home and family.And that is the type of person I want in power in this country.A woman that can kick ass and take names but can also be civil and polite.
She is the future of womanhood and the future of the Republican Party and the Conservative values many in America hold dear.I love this woman for what she embodies and though I may have my issues with McCain I feel that having her at his ear he will heed his base that helped put him there.I wholeheartedlyagree with the reform that McCain wishes to establish in Washington and I agree that with Palin's help they will succeed in doing so.There are many things that need to be fixed and I feel that together this team that has been created can fix things and shake things up.Quite frankly I feel that together they can destroy the socialist left with their reform and restore a greater patriotism to the people of this nation.I also feel they together will greatly benefit the federalism of the states and preserve our federated Republic well into our children's adulthood.
Palin is a remarkable woman who has achieved a great deal all on her own record. She rode in on no one's coattails.She is a wonder to behold.She is a role-model for young women.Not Britney Spear, not Pink, not Madonnabut Sarah "Baracuda" Palin.She is the healthiest role-model for women there can be.STRONG, DETERMINED, INTELLIGENT, SELF-MADE, SELF-RELIANT.That is a model for Feminism if ever there was one and a role-model for young women in a sea of harlots and whores in the media.
Health Care is to Servitude as Freedom is to Liberty

Freedom isn't free.The simple concept being that it costs something to for a person's liberty.Though in America we believe that all people are entitled to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness there are many in the world he feel this is not so.America is one of the few countries that have spelled out its citizens' rights.In many cases these rights are spelled out as freedoms:freedom of speech; freedom of religion; freedom of the press; etcetera. In other countries laws are created to restrict rights. Rights are different from privilege.A privilege is not guaranteed and can be restricted.A right cannot be restricted (though gun laws would seem to argue against this point but I digress for it is not the central issue I wish to address at the moment.)
As government gains more ability to regulate it gains more control over that which it regulates.As it gains the ability to oversee things for the "general welfare" of the populace we give up a portion of liberty that is harder to re-obtain.There is a push by some for nationalized health care.I question the sanity of such a proposal.Not simply for the numerous examples of how state sponsored and controlled healthcare is a failure but also for the fact that this will give government an unprecedented control over the life of the individual.
At first it will not seem a bad thing to people.No, because everyone will have access to health care (which they already do but hey let us not nitpick).But eventually the government will realize its folly and the unbelievable economic burden this will put upon the populace.But this will not cause government to rescind such a horrendous error.Bureaucracy will simply make the populace pay more in taxes.Initially it will raise the taxes on the "Rich" (because they have to pay their fair share[as if 50% isn't enough]).When the rich finally "get the hell out of dodge" who will they turn to next?The middle class will be the new rich and they will pay for their indiscretions of being"wealthy".They will be taxed into oblivion and having no real stored wealth will not be able to escape the iron hand that will smash them into unjust poverty.
Aside from money which will be the least of the horrors that will be wrought upon the people there will be lifestyle control.Since the government is footing your healthcare bill, your life will be controlled as to minimize your "health care cost footprint". Your inferior health caused by your bad habits will not be treated.If you don't follow the legislated health diet and you choose not workout as regulated you will be denied health care.It won't even matter if you need emergency surgery or come in to the emergency room with a broken leg. Your medical care will be denied because you did not follow what you were told.
Do you think it will end with them telling you how to live?No!It will continue into your family life.They will tell you what to feed your children what exercises to make them do.They will tell you what programs they have to be enrolled in to help minimize their future health care costs.What could they possibly to do a child if you choose not to comply?Why they won't do anything to them except take them away from parents who are abusing their children.How dare you not follow the regimen set forth by bureaucrats! Your children will be raised by the state so as to prevent child abusers such as yourselves from turning them onto bad habits and against the government.
Wait who told you that you can have kids?You need to permission to have kids.No you cannot turn down that amniocentesis.The government needs to make sure that your kid has a 0% chance of some child hood disease?Wait you think the government is going to pay for these tests well they aren't related to your health they're related to the health of someone who doesn't exist.Sorry you'll have to pay for this one.Once you're approved to have that kid then you'll be provided for.
Nationalized health care is a foothold for communism, socialism and fascism.If such a bill is passed the next question is which form of oppression will the populace choose next?The question for those who enjoy their freedoms is if such shades come to pass would you have the courage to raise arms against the Country that bore you?

With the recently upheld (and rightly so) right to own a firearm good news about gun owners has been coming like crazy.
In general I don't support vigilantism, except in extreme circumstances. But basically any criminal that is actively threatening someones life and liberty and in some cases their pursuit of happiness I've no problem with that person protecting themselves or those around them.
The individual in the story above shot two would be robbers killing one and wounding the other. Now these two men were robbing a Subway around 11pm and began to push one of the customers into the bathroom. The customer got the drop on them and shot them both with his own weapon. Both of the thugs were reported as packing heat themselves. The customer had a legal weapon and a concealed carry permit.
I totally don't have a problem with this. After reading, seeing on TV and hearing first person accounts of the brutality of some robbers to the point where they carry out execution style murders on people they are robbing I can't say I blame the OLD man from shooting them.
Now the family has a problem with the fact that he killed their son. I would wonder how they would react if their son had killed him? Quite frankly it doesn't matter what they feel in fact they should be outraged that their son was a hoodlum, scum, a villian of the wickedest nature. They should be outraged that their son would do such a thing. Quite frankly they should be thanking the man that prevented them from having to go through even more hurtful scenes such as being stuck in court listening to their sons trangressions against society.
I've no idea if this man saved the workers lives let alone his own but quite possibly he did. The intent of criminals cannot be gauged in today's world thus it should be deemed in any potentially dangerous situation involving a criminal that the criminal will do the worst imaginable.
This man did the right thing and it is a pity someone had to die. However the customer did not create the situation he was placed into it by someone else. He showed great character under pressure. He displayed selfless service by putting his life on the line for the workers there.
This man was a great asset not just to situation but to all Americans. He was a Marine. He took an oath to defend this country against all threats both foreign and domestic. He continued to uphold his oath by defending the weak from a domestic threat. I applaud this man for what he did and for everything he has done.
Here is to my fellow Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Airmen who have served their country with honor and pride. This coming Independence Day I will remember why it is I am able to celebrate this great country and I will give a toast to you.
Child rapists should have it easy.At least according to one democrat in the legislative branch of Massachusetts state government.You see as a former defense attorney he didn't need to fight hard for child rapists because they only faced a light sentence and could get off for good behavior, but now that former clients who may become repeat offenders could face up to twenty years for the same crime and that's just plain unfair.So in order to make it fair he'll be harder on the victims when he cross examines them.He'll punish them with nightmares and a life of unhappiness because he'll need to in order to get his client off.What????
So he needs to be more brutal in his cross examination because why?Because his client will face more time in jail?This does not make sense to me?How many people went to jail before because he was half-assing his job?He obviously doesn't work hard to defend clients who face a short jail time but he'll destroy the witnesses and/or victims if his clients face more time?
So what this democrat is really saying is that since his client is going to suffer 20 years in jail the victims should suffer for the rest of their lives because of his cross examination.I don't what the hell peoples problems are with punishing criminals.It is called CRIME AND PUNISHMENT not CRIME AND REHABILITATION.Quite frankly if this guy thinks its Draconian to punish someone for 20 years for raping a child he doesn't want to hear what I would do to the Son of a bitch if he were found guilty.
Perhaps the bar association should investigate how often he didn't do his job because his clients didn't face a lot of jail time?

Would seem that Barack Obama's campaign has once again broken the law. But as we all know Obama will know nothing about this and it will be someone else's fault. There is evil in this world.Evil so heinous when it appears we are shocked that it could ever happen.Often we try to tell ourselves that it couldn't happen.No one would ever think to do such a thing.Murder, rape, robbery are acts of evil.We as humans may have added some level of measure to dictate how evil something is based upon how it happens.Murder in the first degree and second degree are types of measures we use to gauge just how heinous a murder was.Petty theft all the way up to Grand larceny, are measuring sticks for robbery.But when its boiled down stealing is stealing, murder is murder.
I bring to you an absolute horrible story of living hell on earth.For those of you who are parents beware for what comes next is horrendous.
Ah…hearken back to the days when you were nine.Remember the sounds.Now picture how innocent the world is to you.Naivety is something most would long for in their adulthood so long as everyone shared it with them.But yes as a child of nine most of us were naïve and we were blissfully ignorant of virtually everything save our game systems.Most of us had adult figures whom loved us and cared for us.Good times to be nine.Not a care in the world.Well not all children have such fond memories of their childhood.And some will be haunted from it for the rest of their life
In the Czech Republic some children will never have such fond memories of that age of innocence.No for two brothers their lives became living hell.Their mother, along with other persons, were part of a sick and twisted cult that engaged in cannibalism.And like any good cult member will do they recruit other people into their cult.And that's just what mommy did.She recruited her two sons into this cult.And they were in it whether they liked it or not.
In fact the cult made them part of their rituals so much so that it could have killed them.You see the boys were not practicing members they were the ones who were practiced on.The cult performed rituals in which the boys were tortured, burnt and beat with a whip.The members of this cult also ate parts of the children's flesh raw.
Had it not been for bizarre luck and a person with a backbone those children may still have been down in that dungeon handcuffed or chained in the basement.The neighbor bought a CCTV to monitor his newborn but instead of happy images of his child he saw bizarre and twisted acts committed upon children.
Terror will more than likely haunt these children the rest of their lives.God have mercy on the wretches who committed such a crime but I pray that the law does not and that these individuals pay dearly for their crime.A punishment worse than death suits these individuals.I have no words for what I would do to these individuals suffice to say it would not end for a long while. I rarely advocate torture of criminals but these people go beyond the measures we have set for any crime.Death is something they do not deserve as it would be an escape from true punishment.
Evil exists around everyone of us.Everyone of us.But increasingly we are becoming more apathetic.Not simply in our society but the human race as a whole.An old man was hit by a car that just drove off and was left lying in the busy street even though there were numerous people who saw the accident.
Several people drove by a man who was stomping his two year son to death on the side of the road.
Remember the story of the college student who knew that his friend was raping a girl in a bathroom stall yet he did nothing.
There is a pattern emerging here and if you see it good.In each of these cases Evil triumphs as Good men do nothing.Apathetic to the last.There is a sadness that should touch everyone who realizes they could have done something yet would not act.As a human being at the very least you should attempt to contact someone who can stop someone from suffering at the hands of others.But as a member of society you should do everything in your power to safeguard yourselves and your fellow citizens from evil perpetrated by others.
Some may say leave such things to the police that is what they are there for.The police are there to keep the peace where they can.But they are not supermen they cannot be everywhere at once.A police officer is a civil servant protecting people but they are limited.When the police cannot respond in time it becomes the responsibility of the Government who hired them to do the job.And by government I mean "we the people".We are in charge of safeguarding ourselves when there is no one to protect us.We are responsible for upholding the law when we witness a crime.As a citizen you have the right to make a citizen's arrest when you witness a crime.
You can and do have a right to take away and destroy the junkie's drugs.You can and do have the right to protect yourself.It is time for the Good Men to stand back up and take back our streets, to never turn a blind eye to a crime, to protect each other.We must take back our laws that criminals use to sue us and turn it around on them.We must make a stand now and show those who would do evil that their reign of terror is over and we must leave such a stranglehold on them that they dare not show their true colors in society again.

I get tired of asshole's in position's of Celebrity or posistion of Political power belittling the intelligence of a person who joins the military. I probably read ten times better than you Stephen King and I joined the Military because I wanted to. Not because I was too uneducated to make it into college. Fact is Steve I was accepted to several colleges before I joined the Army. I was sought after by West Point by three different West Point officers in admissions. I was offered a scholarship by John Jay in NYC.

Currently I'm attending the Rochester Insititute of Technology. I'm learning the art, skills and the know how to be an Electrical Engineer. Part of my focus is Bio-Medical application of electronics to the human body. Mr. King I could run intellectual circles around you all day.
