Kristal is one badass chick...
Current mood: energetic

Ok, so my roommate Kristal gave me the best going away gift ever...St Pauli is one of my favorite football (soccer) clubs...They are not a rich club, but the have the best fans around...Most football clubs are very political for the wrong reasons and that mainly focus around money...The St Pauli club focuses more on human rights, the working class...They are Antifa...

Well, anyways...Kristal bought me tickets to the game...The played against Wiesbaden...St Pauli won...3-1...It was an excellent match...This game was really important to St Pauli, it determined if St Pauli would stay in 2nd league or be bumped down to 3rd...

I had a really great time...I got wasted...I jigged...I laughed...I cried...I got even more wasted...and then I passed out on a bar...

My favorite quote for the night:

Me: Have you ever made out with a Punk before?

Guy:  Kein Problem ( No Problem)...

Glue and Guns

Ok, finally I have some time to tell you guys what happened to me last weekend...

Last Saturday, I was eating dinner with my friend Parker and his woman, Suzie...We had some great conversations...Politics, racism, fascism, violence, that kind of thing...I remember telling them that I felt safer in Germany and not so much in the states...I mean, if I can walk by the river and not have to worry about someone having to fish my body out or even walk down the street by myself at 3 in the morning, then hey, that is safe by my standards...

So, after dinner we decided to go rent some movies...I drove to Video Gigant in Mainz...After what seemed like hours to find a parking space (trying to find parking on the weekend and at night is fucking retarded)...We finally found a spot and walked to the video store...

When we got the video store, we started to browse the selections...This guy with baggy ass jynco looking jeans and a black t-shirt in his hands, went up to Parker (who is black and has long fucking dreads) and said "Reggae, Hip Hop, hehehe (think of the most obnoxious laugh)...Parker and I were like what the fuck and started laughing and making fun of him...Next thing I noticed, this guy put the shirt up to his face and you heard a hissing noise (yeah, sniffing glue or something)...That really made me start to laugh...So we are still looking at movies and this guy is pacing the store, actually made me put up my guard...The video store clerk then asked me if that was a gun in that guy's hand...I turned around and saw the glue and shirt in one hand and the gun in the other..."Yep, that's a gun"...The girls behind the counter ducked down and Parker, Suzie and I went out the back door to call the cops...When we got outside, we heard a guy calling the cops, so we just stood there and watched this guy through the glass...There were still 10-15 people in the store, looking for their Saturday night movie and not paying attention to this crazy with a gun...This guy then climbed on top of something and started saying things...That is what made people finally take notice and leave the store...So, we are all outside the store, watching like idiots...This guy started rubbing his face with the gun and pointing the gun around the store...Next thing you hear is a gun shot and the guy comes out of the store towards us...Everyone starts running...We ran about 20 yards when the cops showed up, telling us to move back...We got back some more and saw the grocery store, REWE...I said "Fuck it, I need a drink"...We went in and I purchased 2 bottles of cheap red wine...We left the store and the cops were gone...We walked back to the video store, cause damnit, I wanted to rent a movie...The place was still open, people still renting movies and the girls behind the counter looked like a mess...I asked the girls why the hell do they not close the store down...One said it is better to go on working, then go home and think about the events...the other girl said that she doesn't get paid 6 euros an hour to deal with this shit...I felt bad for them...I got my video and we left...

All I have to say is this is the first time that I have seen something like this in Germany...For one thing, guns are illegal in Germany and that was the first gun that I have seen here...I still think this place is pretty fucking safe...

What does the Bible say about women...
Current mood: enraged
Category: Religion and Philosophy

What does the Bible say about women?

1. What is a woman's role in the church?

(A woman is never to open her mouth in church. She has nothing valuable to say and should limit her participation to asking her husband to explain things to her)

"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church" (1 Corinthians 14:34-35).

2. What is a woman's role in the educational process?

(Women should never be teachers because they are easily deceived)

"Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression" (1 Timothy 2:11-14).

3. Is a wife permitted to follow her own conscience?

(A woman must obey her husband in all matters at all times)

"Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their husbands in every thing" (Ephesians 5:22-24). "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God" (1 Corinthians 11:3). "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord" (Colossians 3:18).

4. In God's eyes, who is worth more between women and men?

(God expressly says men are worth more, and actually provides dollar amounts proving this)

"And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the Lord by thy estimation. And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary. And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels. And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver. And if it be from sixty years old and above, if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female, ten shekels" (Leviticus 27:1-7)

5. What is the role of a widow?

(She should be depressed and pray day and night)

Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day. But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth" (1 Timothy 5:5-6).

6. How long is a woman unclean after the messy act of childbirth?

(The woman is unclean for seven days if the child is a boy, but she is unclean for twice as long if the child is a girl)

"And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days . . . But if she bare a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks" (Leviticus 12:1-5).

7. What are the requirements for a woman's physical appearance?

(A woman must dress modestly and refrain from wearing expensive jewelry and a woman should wear her hair long)

"In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array" (1 Timothy 2:9). "But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering" (1 Corinthians 11:15).

8. Can you trust a woman's promises or guarantees?

(No, because women are deceitful and manipulative and because a woman's promise is null and void if her husband disapproves of it)

"And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her" (Ecclesiastes 7:26). "But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the Lord shall forgive her" (Numbers 30:12).

9. Under what circumstances are we to spare the life of a married or engaged woman who has been raped?

(When the woman is raped in the country as opposed to the city or when the woman is a slave girl)

"If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; Then ye shall bring them both out onto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city . . . But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die . . . For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her" (Deuteronomy 22:23-27). And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free" (Leviticus 19:20).

10. In times of war, what is God's plight for women in the captured areas?

(While the men are to be killed, the women are to be taken as slaves. Pretty women are to become the wives of conquering men who find them attractive. Women in places the Lord gives His chosen people as an inheritance are to be killed along with every other living thing)

"And when the Lord thy God hath delivered [a city] into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword: But the women, and the little ones . . . shalt thou take unto thyself . . . But of the cities of these people, which the Lord thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth" (Deuteronomy 20:13-16). "When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies . . . And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house . . . thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife" (Deuteronomy 21:10-13).

My heart fits the puzzle...
Current mood: content
Category: Life

Well hell, it has been a long time...

...quoted...I have forgotten how to love myself...unquoted...

I am still here in Germany, and for awhile I have forgotten how to love myself...I have been a little messed up for awhile, ok,  maybe a long time...it has been a long road that I have been traveling, in a clumsy matter...since the loss of my father, my mind has been really screwed up...I was sad, angry, frusturated, felt empty...I have been blaming others for my problems, I did not just step back and say, what a minute, hold on...quit running, face the shit and then move on...I have been running away from people and myself for such a long time, hold on Lindsay, take a breath...I want to take this time to tell some people that I am sorry for running, I am sorry for hiding who I am, I am sorry for keeping back, I am who I am...

Well, Germany is finally doing good for me...I was scared for a long time, I think I was just scared to let myself be happy...I have finally planted both feet on the ground.

For those of you who do not know what I have been doing...

I was going to school...Taking German language courses...my German has gotten pretty good for just being here 9 months...I can order a beer like no other...

I am also working...I am a teacher...which I love...

Other than that I have been making some new friends (but they will never replace the old ones)...been to some great punk shows and festivals...drinking some awesome German beer and just trying to relax...

I have been doing a lot of traveling around Germany, been to France and Switzerland...I am also going to Spain in July for my birthday and in August I am going to Paris...

I am planning to come back to the states for a long visit, spend some time in Oklahoma with my family and friends...I also hope to make a trip to Georgia and Alabama to visit some friends that mean the world to me...

Well, you are all in my heart...and I wish you all well...peace and love...

Blog...it might just be a game...
Current mood: sick

Leave your name in my blog comments. Once you do that, this is what I'll do for you...

1. I'll respond with something random about you.

2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.

3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle you in.

4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.

5. I'll tell you my first memory of you.

6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.

7. I'll ask you something I've always wondered about you.

8. If you do this you MUST post this on yours. You MUST. It is written.

Ramblings of a Mad Woman
Current mood: relaxed
Category: Writing and Poetry

Ramblings of a Mad Woman

I live in a world that I can't understand
Fighting and killing
Have we all gone mad
When we look at each other
All we can say is
"I'm going to kill that motherfucker someday"
Anger and Hate
Murder and Rape
Are these the things that we celebrate
Patience and Compassion
Truth and Understanding
Are these values to demanding
Is this the way we want
To raise are children today
What we really need to do
Is end this hateful greed
Because at this pace
We'll end the human race
Look at your neighbors
Look at your friends
Is this how it has to end
All this vile bullshit we have to end
Somewhere before my trail ends
I do it not for glory, I do it not for fame
I want my children to carry my family name
I can't take this
It's wearing me out
Draining my head
Hollowing my soul
My freaking mind
Turning into a black hole
All I want, and all I ask
Is a really small task
Quit the killing
Stop the gore
We don't need to fight anymore
If we continue
On this path of destruction
Our children will buy
Into this corruption
We all get violent
We all get mad
Sometimes, we're sad
So, control your temper
Slow your pace
Keep calm when they are in your face
Vent anger
Find a place
Because if no one is a stranger
And most are your friends
Then maybe we can find an end
The ramblings of a mad woman
Might be the beginning of the end
And our children will grow to be a better man
I just hope my mind will last
So when I take my last final gasp
I can hear someone say
Things are better today
Much better that yesterday
And I can hear my children say
It's ok, I love you go outside and play
