Okay something got all fowled up last weekend.
Indianapolis beat Baltimore… WTF? I was not pleased at that. I don't care for Peyton Manning, he's funny in the commercials but I don't want to see him with a Super Bowl ring…It was a sloppy game an exchange of field goals, interesting but not exciting due to my bias.
Philadelphia lost to New Orleans Okay, I was wrong but the only reason I wanted to see New Orleans lose is so I don't have to hear that damn hurricane Katrina story, Oh it would have been cool to see Philadelphia's backup quarterback win without Donovan McNabb the most overpaid QB…
New England beat San Diego two good teams neither one seemed to be playing their best.
Chicago beats Seattle, Yay, I got one right..
How much money did you loose betting on my picks?
Well go withdraw some more money from the bank 'cause I got more picks for this weekend.

New England at Indianapolis, I still want to see Peyton Manning lose just one more game this year. So my biased pick is for the Patriots clobber the Colts. Tom Brady is better under pressure and more experienced in playoff games (he proved that last week)

New Orleans at Chicago, the Bears are a bland football team so I'm going to pick Drew Brees and the Saints and hope they don't talk about the Katrina story…. Where is that mute button?

Maple Leafs are playing the Pens tonight, Go Pens!

Hey, Grimm new coach!

Okay, here are my picks for this weekends football games…

New England at San Diego
The patriots are good but I don't think they're good enough to beat the Chargers, but it should be an interesting game. I'd say that San Diego wins by a touchdown.

Seattle at Chicago
Same thing, The Seahawks are good but I don't think they're good enough to beat the Bears, but it should be an interesting game. I'd say that Chicago wins by a touchdown.
(I just copied that and changed the names where applicable)

Philadelphia at New Orleans
I'm going to say the Eagles will win by a field goal, a closer game but I think it'll be a boring one. But I'll still watch it.

If Seattle beats Chicago, hmm…. They'll have to play the Philadelphia Eagles then I'll have to cheer for the Eagles (sorry Jason)

Indianapolis at Baltimore
When the Baltimore Ravens win, my blog title will be HappyYellowBaltimore. They are going to whomp* on the Colts something terrible. The Colts have a good team statistically during the regular season but during the playoffs other teams elevate their playing to win the championship. I just don't see it happening with the Colts. So I might pick the Ravens by two touchdowns and a field goal

So the weekend after this it'll be Philadelphia at Chicago and Baltimore at San Diego
Well I hope that the Eagles win that 'cause they're from the same state as I am  (Pennsylvania). Then whoever wins between the Ravens and the Chargers will win Super Bowl XLI (41)

Yep, I made it another year.

Okay, I went to the salvage yard and I got those pieces for my car and installed them but it still refuses to start. I might have to go back and tear apart the junked cars for more parts, but it's getting colder and fixing the car in the cold is not fun.

The Penguins have won a couple of games.

Here a review I posted on tvrage
I saw this new show Called Dirt on FX. Okay, I only watched the first half hour before I changed the channel. If you look up Dirt in the dictionary that should convince you that this show is not worth watching (an unwanted or undesired mixture of dust, soil, and other solids; any foul or filthy substance, as mud, grime, dust, or excrement.) Well the title was well chosen.
The main character is a very plastic looking mannequin named Lucy Spiller that slightly resembles Courteney Cox, I don't think her face moved at all during the dreadful thirty minutes I wasted watching this show.
The main mannequin is an editor of a tabloid magazine the other characters are imbecile employees of the magazine or halfwit celebrities. Although portraying celebrities and the paparazzi as nincompoops is in my opinion very realistic, it is difficult to sit through, especially since the actors are not very good. But who in Hollywood is going to portray the paparazzi as anything more than idiots… Hmm, just a thought.

New Year!
Happy.

My car needs some pieces so I can get it inspected…
I need a n ignition lock.

And a starter switch

Here is what they look like from under the steering column when properly attached

(the little pink arrows point to them)
So, if you have these parts laying around and don't need them…. I could use them.
The lock cylinder is pretty expensive (in relation to the worth of the car) so I'll try to pick it up used, the switch is cheaper but they'll probably have both at a salvage yard.
I hope that's all it needs….

No, I didn't steal it... Why would I try to get it inspected if I stole it?

I hope everybody had a good Christmas and Boxing Day

Merry Christmas to everybody that reads this…
There is some wackyness to this website, I have a new "friends request" from "This Profile No Longer Exists" and she's online now????

I heard this story on the radio, it made me laugh.
News story.
It might be wrong but I think it's funny. Hey, nobody was hurt and she is still on the lam.

The Penguins aren't doing as well as I would like them to, but Sid is doing well….

It's a Hockey night in Pittsburgh (and Montreal) ....the Penguins are going there to play the Canadians (and hopefully win) in the city that spawned Hockey greats as Mario Lemieux, Martin St. Louis, Maurice "the Rocket" Richard, Vincent Lecavalier, Raymond Bourque, Mike Bossy, Toe Blake, Jean Béliveau and Scotty Bowman. So, they have a nice history of hockey there, I think it would d be nice if the Pens could show them some Hockey, like they've been doing 20 goals in the last 3 games… I've enjoyed more Penguins games this year than Steelers games …

I'm loving hockey….

Current mood: cynical

I got Dolly banned. She used my computer a few times and they banned her.
They banned the other people that used my computer as well.

I guess they don't want anyone in the neighborhood to be on tv.com.

Okay, I'm banned but damn, there are a lot of people I know are gaming the crap out of guides there, they should put be on payroll but I'd warn them then give 'em suspensions before banning them.

I can't post reviews anymore.
I watched some of the CSI last night and damn, I wanted to write a review. Not one of those Happy nice and friendly reviews that I hardly ever wrote, but something accurately negative. That show sucks anymore. The corpses roles are better written that the zombie regulars.  For the previous episode, I cant remember if it had an ending or if I got board and walked away. Ladies and Gentlemen, CSI has jumped the Shark. Last night I got board with CSI and switched to the Hockey game and was glad to see the Penguins beat on the cross state rivals, the Philthadelphia Fliers. I hope the Pens play many games on Thursday so I don't have to watch CSI.

Survivor was good. In retrospect a predictable episode, but watching it for the first time I thought a few people were close to going home.
Go Becky Lee

Then I watched a movie called Halle Berry Cat Woman Halle Berry the Cat Woman, did dozens of magical things that she couldn't do before, things that cats Don't do. Cats don't climb down. When cats drink milk/cream they shit everywhere.(How funny that would have been in that tight little outfit?) then there is the best thing about cats …. Listening to them procreate at 2:30 am, well that's how annoying the score was.
But the outfit was cool, I could watch about fifteen minuets of the computer enhanced Halle Berry walking in the tight little black pussy suit.

HappyYellowBasis

Okay, the question of the week is: What the Fuck?
I got the boot from TV.com, and you want to know "WHY?"
This is my side of the story....
I got a PM that said I was banned for gaming the system and exploiting bugs.
The thing is, I didn't do anything different, well…..
(those guys are bastards I'm innocent)

One thing that I did (different) was submitted to a show I was trusted on… I got the white screen… so, like everybody else I re-loaded the page and hit the backspace button  still white screen, so, I did it all over 'till the white screen went away.  It was a summary I was submitting so 8 points + the number of times I reloaded and backspaced , I ended up with 9 submissions and a considerable jump in points on that guide.…(my theory is someone noticed that jump and told the staffies)

Now the TV.com staff is vague about what exploiting bugs is or how(or not) to exploit bugs. Because they don't fix bugs, they only make more. (so I'm the poor helpless victim)

One option I thought was good was to disable automatic PM's, with 10,000 submissions you would get 10,000 PM's. That was a no brainer I  disabled automatic PM's. but with every CNet feature there are bugs. I did not get MOST of the PM's with the rejections (I got no PM's with approvals) telling why or whatever they would say in the rejection PM's. I got one and only one that said "refer to previous PM" WTF? I resubmitted the same thing and asked in the comments what they were talking about because I did not get MOST of the rejection PM's… they said "you got that one" …

….. Now (actually then ) I had a lot of guides. I did not need to "game" points on my own guides when I could just as easily submit to new guides, that's why I had an asinine amount of guides. I liked to push the limits of what I could submit that they would accept. Half the submission rules they have are because they didn't like what I was submitting so they changed the rules. I did exploit rules, not the bugs. Sentence fragments: I'd add the few words to make a complete sentence(2 points). I used to submit Astrological signs, Eastern and Chinese(4 points) Hair and eye color (4 points) political party(2 points) and who had the same birthday (2 points) they used to accept those now they don't .
So if they don't accept those as trivia's, anymore, I should get as many points for deleting them and they would accept that. (who's the Idiot here?)  I guess that's gaming.
And they changed the rule about currently as in Bob currently lives in New York should be As of 2006, Bob currently lives in New York …so, I went back and changed the ones they already accepted. Oh, the Quotes in the trivia section got me quite a few guides.

I guess it might be considered an Exploit by some incompetent people, typing in a URL so as to edit a bio that has the "Edit Bio" button is disabled.
http://www.tv.com/usersubmission/celebrity_bio.html?celeb_id=
and the persons ID#
Well they probably would consider that "exploiting a bug".

All good things...
