NEW ALBUM “DREAMER” OUT 10/14 Haste The Day have announced they will be joining the Solid State Tour with Norma Jean this fall. The tour will also include The Showdown, My Children My Bride, Oh Sleeper and Children 8:13. Haste The Day are preparing their fourth full-length album Dreamer for an October 14th release date. Speaking on the album bassist Mike says “It meshes the heavy side with the melodic side of our band and is probably the best we have done with either side.” Haste The Day is composed of Mike, Stephen (vocals), Brennan (guitar) and Devin (drums). HASTE THE DAY ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIAN TOUR WITH SCARY KIDS SCARING KIDS & HALIFAX! 11/21, 11/22 and 11/23
NEW SONG “68” UP AT MYSPACE.COM/HASTETHEDAY Haste The Day have announced Australian dates for this fall. Going down under with Scary Kids Scaring Kids and Halifax, this is actually the band's second time down there playing earlier this year at the Sound Wave Festival. Bassist Mike commented “We loved our first time there having kids come up to us telling us there were fans of ours for years and realizing people in Australia had actually heard of us” he says with a laugh. “We also got to hold Koalas and enjoy a Tim Tam which is like a cookie with caramel inside that you slam tea through.” On the pairing with Scary Kids Murphy said “Those are probably our closest band friends at this point. We've done several U.S. tours with them and they actually played Sound Wave with us as well. It's nice to have a band that we love as people and whose music we respect tour with us.” Haste The Day have just put up a new song 68 on their myspace to a rabid response. Murphy says “68 is a good representation of our upcoming album (Dreamer dropping on October 14th), it meshes the heavy side with the melodic side of our band and is probably the best we have done with either side.” Haste The Day is composed of Mike, Stephen (vocals), Brennan (guitar) and Devin (drums). We will be releasing music and a video and all sorts of stuff as we lead up to the release of our new album entitled "Dreamer" on October 14th. We will also be heading out on the road in October - November all throughout the US as part of the latest installment of The Solid State Tour!
