As you can see there has been some activity on the MySpace page these days. I finally got around to actually making the site look pretty. I was also able to upload a live video from our one and only performance to date. This was taken at the 2006 Wave Gotik Treffen fest in Leipzig, Germany. Joining us for this show were Ralf Huenefeld (bass) and Alice D (drums) from the Berlin-based band, Plush Insane. There are portions of two songs featured in the video "Hatesex (Reborn) and "Subculture Queen". Enjoy...
NEW SONG COMING!!!!

I know it seems like nothing has been going on with us for a while, which is partially true, however, we have something special coming up. We have just recently completed a brand new (sort of) song with a special guest vocalist that a few of you out there may be familiar with.
Right now, it appears that the song will appear as an exclusive track for a soon to be released compilation out of Europe.
We have no plans to release this song on any upcoming Hatesex release.
We will be giving more details once we post the song on our MySpace page.
For those of you who have not experienced the Wave Gothik Treffen... need to do yourself a favor and do so... For the gothic community, this is as close to Mecca as we will ever have... 15,000 gothic kids invade the lovely city of Leipzig, Germany to partake in all things dark and agonize over which of the 180 bands that perform there they will get to see.
This was my second time playing this event. The first time was in 2002 with Diva Destruction. We were truly honored to be asked to play this year. It was a really special event for us since it was the first show ever for the band. I dont know of any other bands that could claim WGT as their very first show... Getting prepared for the show was truly a challenge since the band is now "bi-continental" with me currently residing in Berlin and Krisanna in Los Angeles. In order to pull this off, I would have to put a band together here in Germany. This turned out to be the easy part since I had recently begun playing guitar with the Berlin based band Plush Insane. I recruited Ralf (bass) and Alice D (drums) to do the show. They were both excited to do it and worked really hard to learn the songs... We rehearsed for 3 months as a three piece while Krisanna practiced her parts in LA. Krisanna then arrived in Berlin 2 weeks before the show to rehearse with the band. Since we were all already prepared, the rehearsals went very smoothly...
We were not given the best slot at the fest... but that was OK since we were a new band and couldn't demand anything prime time... We were assigned the 530 slot on Friday at the Werk II venue. This meant we would be one of the first bands to open the fest. Werk II is a former factory converted into a concert and dance venue. It holds 2000 people and is considered one of the better venues at the fest. There was a band scheduled before us that cancelled at the last minute. This meant that we would be the first band playing at this venue on Friday. This actually worked in our favor because it meant we got to set up our equipment early and get a proper sound check, which most bands at the WGT do not get....
As show time drew closer.. we were getting concerned that we would not be playing to a large crowd. 15 minutes before we went on, it appeared that there were less than 200 people in the hall. Once we took the stage, however, at least a 1000 more people appeared out of nowhere and the hall appeared to be at near capacity. I saw many friends and familiar faces in the crowd which gave the show extra special meaning...
The crowd was warm and receptive and we received positive feedback from many of those in attendance.... all in all it was an amazing evening...
Here is the set list for the show
The Crown of Inhuman (Intro) Hatesex (Reborn) Subculture Queen Playing The Liar (Diva D song) Spiritual Palsy Stepdaughter of the Vainglory Empire Unwant Nicotine Stain (Siouxsie cover) Valley of the Scars (Diva D song) Vapor Chariot
