Sneak Attack Corn

Ok, so those of you who know me already suspect I am a bit quirky and rightfully so.

Can any of you tell me whose idea it was to put CORN in our everyday food choices?  Now you expect little corn pieces in corn bread, corn chowder and even Chinese food.  But really now you cant make a food choice w/o getting inundated by SNEAK ATTACK CORN, there is corn in salads, salsas, Spanish rice and dont even get me started on the term Santa Fe which translated means there is corn in everything.  You cant go to Chilis w/o getting corn in every (and I do mean every) food choice.  Southwest Egg Rolls = corn.  Not that I have anything against corn specifically.  I love corn on the cob, but I want to choose when to add it to my everyday food choices.
