I would like to let everyone know the my mom's battle with breast ended early this morning.  My mom passed away at approx. 12:34 in the morning with all her kids and her "sisters" by her side.  Toma nd Keith were also with us.  We are going this afternoon to set up the final funeral arrangments.  I will let you all know those as soon as they get made.  THank you again so much for all your prayers they helped in ways you will never know.  It is so amazing to me the friends you can make without even meeting them.  You all have meant so much to my mom and I thank you all for being there for her.

well not sure what to put here today
Current mood: drained

Well everyone, times are getting harder for us all.  Mom isn't getting any better and we are starting the waiting game.  She hasn't eaten since Saturday night and has pretty much stopeed drinking as well.  Hospice comes in everyday to check her and see how she is doing.  They have uped her morphine to 1mg every hour and 1/2 mg of ativan every 2 hours.  This is one of the hardest thing I will ever have to do in my life.  We are just taking things one day at a time.  We pray like there is know tomorrow and wish for her comfort.  I will keep you all posted on how she doing.  We just wait and pray.  That is all we have left.  I will keep you posted.

sorry it took me so long to get back.....
Current mood: melancholy

Well sorry I haven't written earlier.  She went to the doctor on THursday and well he really didn't change anything.  She isn't going to get chemo anylonger.  He doesn't think it will help her now.  So it is just a waiting game.  SHe hasn't been doing to bad really.  Yesterday seemd to be the worst so far, she couldn't swallow anyhting, she kept spitting it back up.  I think her gag reflex is going, maybe I don't know.  ANyway she has been sleepiong a little bit more lately and up everycouple hours footsing around the house.  Hiding things and trying to help out.  Not much else to say. 

Just wanted to let ya all know that if you have been emailing mom she kind of forgot how to check her mail or even get online for that matter so if you have nayhting to say you can respond on here or email me @ audreyrose_25@hotmail.com.  Well I am gonna get going for now gotta finish her laundry.  She changes clothes like you wouldn't believe.

just another day in paradise!!!!!

Well Hi there everyone!!  Mom is doing so so.  SHe pretty much slept all day long on Tuesday and had us a little scared but she is back to her old self again today.  Man she is a handful..  She goes to te doctor tomorrow and we are gonna she what we can do about her med's.  She is seeing things that aren' there but she will tell ya exactaly what they are wearing and what they are doing here, kinda scaring for me!!  ANyway she is going ot bed now hopefully she will feel like going tomorrow.  IFshe doesnt feel up to going Amber is gonna go and talk to mom's doc.  CArolyn was in town yesterday and stopped by to see mom.  Man we had a houseful yesterday. It was nice.  I got to feel Carolyn baby movin around in her belly.  MAn that was weird.  ANyway mom is off to bed now and I am going to go do my homeowrk.  I will let ya all know what the doctor says after tomorrow.

feels like a sunday

Well everyone she had a good weekend over all it seems.  Brenda, Becky Tracee, and Roger all came up on Saturday night a hung out with mom.  It has abeen a few years since becky and Brenda came up.  It was really good to see them again.  They didnt stay long on Saturday but they were back up on Sunday and Roger BBQ'ed and it was yummy.  Mom wanted me to go and get Amelia's pictures taken so me and brenday and becky took her to the mall to get those done.  (they didn't turn out very good at all)   Mom was pretty busy this weekend she hung out upstairs with us for a while.  Going up the stairs is getting harder for her it seems.  She has a hard time breathing once she gets to the top and then once she up then she wants to go down.  Go figure.  Anyway she is sound asleep now and her friend Carolyn is comming up from FLorida to do some stuff here and she will be stopping by to visit with mom tomorrow so that will be fun.  So that is about it for the weekend.  I am gonna get off here and type my english homeowrk up before I fall asleep.  Take care and love ya's all.

well mom is back to sleeping all day.  She has slept all night and pretty much all day.  She said she didn't feel good but we are glad she is sleeping.  I wonder if she is amking up for her 2 day homes from the hospital.  Her doctor put her on 2 new med's. Apparently with the cancer in her liver her liver isn't breaking down the morphine right so he gave her a med to help with that.  He says that is why she gets loopy.  Her doctor also has a nurse commin out like once a week to check up on her and keep in mind it IS NOT HOSPICE.  Do not worry.  He just wants to make sure she is taking ehr meds right.  She like to be very much in control and doesn't want me or amber to help her with them.  She listens better to an authority figure.  OHyea she went out to dinner last night.  She wnet to Applebee's.  Seh thought amber was under the table but we all know amber was at home.  That is kinda the way she has been when i say she is getting goofy or loopy.Well I think that is it for now.  Her sisters are comming up form Texas tomorrow so hopefully she feels good enough to visit with them.  They will be here for the weekend.  Well I will let you know how she does over the weekend.

She jsut woke up and I read her the latest post, she couldn't of done any better herself.  She is starting to get her wits about her a little bit.  And as usuall she will try and get on here and post tomorrow.  She is gonna check her email and head back to bed.  good night all.......

she goes and goes and goes

Well she doesn't stop.  She just keeps on going.  SHe has been upstairs with us all day, cleaning and farting around all day long.  She hardly ever sleeps.  She has been eating a little bit more.  Today she ate some KFC and a couple crackers and cheese.  So she is getting a little bit better about eating food.  She is getting better witht he pain too.  She ahs managed her meds pretty good, she hardly takes morphine.  She says she doesnt really need it.  Who knows, only she knows how bad she hurts, we aren't going to force her to take the morphine.  She knows when she hurts not us.  Any way not much else is going on here I will keep you posted if anything changes.  And PS andrea you misspelled a word wrong too.  Just kidding.  Talk to you all soon.  Mom would post but I think she has forgotten how to all this she gets confused easily.  The later it gets the sillier she gets  awfully goofy  talking crazy talk soundin all goofy.  Man it is a good laugh.

she is home
Current mood: busy

well everyone she came home today.  Her doctor increased her medicines and she also came home on oxygen.  She looks pretty good.  SHe is gonna try and get on here tomorrow so she can say HI to everyone.  So I am gonna go for now and do some homework.  If she doesnt get on here tomorrow I will write more then.
