Brazil, South America, South Africa: READ
Current mood: okay
Scroll down for English
Hi.
The South American and South African dates on www.last.fm and other websites for October and November are NOT real.
The only real shows are the ones posted on our myspace.
I don't know who posted those other shows but we never talked to anyone about them or said we were playing.
Sorry if you were planning to go :( Please tell anyone you know who thinks those shows are happening that they are fake.
And, we really really really want to come to South America and South Africa, and we will! But we need to book the dates ourselves and make sure we do a good job. So don't worry, we are gonna come, just not yet. And when we have real shows scheduled they will be posted on our myspace.
Everyone fucking freaking out right now read this blog again. This isn't about European or USA shows.
Also, translations of this message in your native tongues are coming soon.

New Drummer
Current mood: happy
Category: Friends
Hi everybody!
We found a new drummer.
It's Daniel from Bleeding Kansas!
We've known Daniel for like 5 years. He was there when Nathan did his first show on vocals. He has watched the ages of Karuza, Alex Duddy, Eel Eye, Christopher Prophet, and our beloved Jon Karel from the 12 Looks Like You come and go. He is also the hardest-hitting, most brutal, passionate, smartest, coolest drummer any of us have ever seen in 10 years of touring this planet "Earth". Any of you who have seen Bleeding Kansas understand, we now have the most brutal drummer ever. He would have been our drummer like 5 years ago but he was finishing up college.
Also Daniel's playing style is more suited to what we have always wanted to be. As "not a fan of Meshuggah" or gay technical I play scales fast and use triggers and stand-still metal, we can truly pursue our dream to become the most relentless, dynamic, energetic, spastic, punishing, cathartic, glorious, meaningful-core music band in the world.
QUESTIONNAIRE: Who was your favorite drummer? Who had the best personality for HORSE the band? Which drummer was the worst? Which drummer was the ugliest? Which drummer had the best fashion sense? Which drummer had the best tribal tattoos? Which drummer talked too loud? Who was the best at blast beats? Who was the best at double bass? Who was the best at making up meaningful beats? Who made the catchiest beats? Who was the best at playing upside-down snare-kick patterns with only a single kick? Who was the most innovative? Which drummer was the most annoying when you "really got to know him"? Which drummer was the dumbest? Which drummer had the most natural skill? Which ex-HORSE drummer has the brightest future in terms of making money and having a stable family life?
None of these questions matter. Daniel is the answer. You will just see. All your drum idols will be forgotten when you see how the drums are played by a true hero.
:D We are really happy!

Current mood: sweaty
Category: Life
Ryan from Ryan's Rock Show just posted a 20 minute interview with Erik where you can listen to both of them talking about "what went down" on Earth Tour instead of having to do stupid reading. It is the most important interview in 5 years.
If you want to book your own EARTH TOUR, this is the first thing you should do, even b4 going to the library

Rockstar Energy Drink Taste of Chaos goes overseas again after over 260 Worldwide dates in the past 4 years and playing in over 23 countries which have included the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Mexico and many others, the only worldwide lifestyle festival tour, the Rockstar Taste of Chaos is back with another onslaught of international shows.
The tour will also hit Asia, South America and Mexico and those dates and bands will be announced in the coming weeks.

ATREYU and AS I LAY DYING will not be playing the Hamburg, Germany date.
ROCKSTAR Energy Drink will continue to be the title sponsor of the 2008 tour and will be sampling their products, as well as coming up with some great surprises for attendees. The Rockstar Taste of Chaos folks always manage to put together a unique mix of bands that always makes for a great show. We look forward to bringing the heaviness to a club near you. Should be a fun time had by all."
Having already spawned multiple soundtrack CD's and a live DVD, Rockstar Taste Of Chaos, like its summer sibling the Van's Warped Tour, it's only getting bigger and better, offering fans the opportunity to see their favorite bands as well as take part in a number of activities including attending autograph signing sessions and a slew of interactive fan activities that will add to the experience. Here's what critics had to say about the Rockstar Taste Of Chaos Tour:

Globe-o-rhea Earth Tour Video Blogs
"Round the world! There is much in that sound to inspire proud feelings; but whereto does all that circumnavigation conduct? Only through numberless perils to the very point whence we started, where those that we left behind secure, were all the time before us.
"Were this world an endless plain, and by sailing eastward we could for ever reach new distances, and discover sights more sweet and strange than any Cyclades or Islands of King Solomon, the there was promise in the voyage. But in pursuit of those far mysteries we dream of, or in tormented chase of that demon phantom that, some time or other, swims before all human hearts; while chasing such over his round globe, they either lead us on in barren mazes or midway leave us whelmed."

UK/Europe/rest of world Merch Store
Hey all you sniveling whining stinking Eurotrash
As I sit here eating my Amy's Microwaveable INDIAN MATTAR TOFU I am reminded of the sensation of shit gliding across my tongue and down my throat and I realize that I am SICKENED by your incessant COMPLAINING! Complaining of "this" and "that" and "can't buy our merch" without "spending a lot of money". Vomit spills from my mouth onto my chin.
So, I went and did the dirty work, and signed a contract with the European merchandising conglomerate MAMstore, who, besides selling mammary glands, also is now legally approved to print and sell officially-licensed and approved H THE B gear in the European territory.
It's time to put your money where your disgusting mouth is.
To add insult to injury, MAMstore was concerned that HORSE the band wouldn't sell enough merchandise for them to make a profit, and took over 3 years to put together this "virtual storefront". Accordingly, their initial offering of merchandise is "lean" to say the least.
Well, you can fucking SHOW THEM WHOSE MERCH YOU WANT TO BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Set Your Goals? Paramore? Steve Stevensensensen?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The more merch you buy, the more merch they will make. And the more they will make the more we will FUCK THEM and whisper I TOLD YOU PUSSY in their ear, repeatedly. We will make them pay for their mediocre life policy and underestimation of the economic power we command at the push of a button!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111 1111
FUCK YOU
http://www.mamstore.co.uk/x48473.html
USE IT OR LOSE IT BITCH
PS- The yellow girl shirt here is exclusive. If I was a girl I would want to be yellow, and I would want to wear this shirt every day and feel my boobs all the time.
I'll go soon, but I leave you with this: If you don't buy clothes in our store, have fun being a loser in Europe and never getting laid.

EARTH TOUR
Current mood: adventurous
Three years ago we booked a three-month, eight country tour with no booking agency, manager, or CD in stores. It was the funnest tour we have ever done. 3 years and 11 professional package tours later, we've become disillusioned, bad-attitude nerds and pariahs of the established music industry. FUCK IT.
We are currently planning a 40-country tour of Earth. We are booking the tour by ourselves, and going by ourselves because everyone is scared of us and no one will let us play their tours because we are too wild and crazy. In addition, no booking agencies will book shows for us on foreign soil because we have no "tour history on the books" or "soundscans" or "albums in stores". It is time to once again take matters into our own hands, go off the beaten track, and show the music industry that they don't matter anymore because of the INTERNET. We hope to be an inspiration to all young bands with honest dreams and the willingness to say "FUCK IT" to the shitty, boring, timid, sterile conventions that have slimed their way into our scene with the recent commercialization and homogenization of underground music. We will be producing a TV show/movie about recklessly circling the globe playing volatile shows, eating weird new foods, meeting new races and species, seeing the marvels of nature and man, narrowly escaping tragedy (or not escaping it), all while teetering on the brink of alcoholism and mental illness and sharing the language of music that unites us all!"
We need all the help we can get, but we know we can do it using the power of the INTERNET, MUSIC, and SELF-RELIANCE!
We are starting in early March. The following is a rough list of where we want to play. If your country isn't on the list, but you want us to play there, we want to know. Cause we will come one day! FUCK IT.
Los Angeles, USA Honolulu, USA Sydney, AUSTRALIA Melbourne, AUSTRALIA Adelaide, AUSTRALIA Brisbane, AUSTRALIA Auckland, NEW ZEALAND Wellington, NEW ZEALAND Chiba, JAPAN Tokyo, JAPAN Osaka, JAPAN Tokyo, JAPAN Seoul, SOUTH KOREA Hong Kong, CHINA Manila, PHILIPPINES Bangkok, THAILAND INDIA INDONESIA Singapore City, SINGAPORE Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA Dubai, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES Istanbul, TURKEY Ankara, Turkey Tel Aviv, ISRAEL Jerusalem, ISRAEL ITALY FRANCE SPAIN PORTUGAL GERMANY BELGIUM NETHERLANDS DENMARK SWEDEN NORWAY FINLAND ESTONIA RUSSIA UKRAINE POLAND CZECH REPUBLIC BELGIUM AUSTRIA HUNGARY ROMANIA CROATIA SWITZERLAND ENGLAND SCOTLAND NORTH IRELAND IRELAND New York City, USA Las Vegas, USA
If you want to book a show or throw us a reliable contact of someone who can, email us at horsethebooking@gmail.com. If you want to help promote a show in your country (flier, write, burn CDs and give them to people), email horsethebooking@gmail.com. If you're interested in press or promotional materials, email us at h2theb@gmail.com. We will send to any country. If you are interested in producing, filming, or helping out in any way with the TV show (you know it is going to be the next Hills!), email h2theb@gmail.com. If you are interested in sponsoring the tour, email h2theb@gmail.com. We are looking for any and all sponsors, especially airlines. If you are a writer for a magazine and want to write a feature or the Great American Novel, email h2theb@gmail.com.
