One show in 2008

Like last year it looks like Hurra Torpedo only will do one show in 2008. The venue is The Heilt Vilt festival in Drangedal, Telemark on August 22th. Other bands on the festival includes Black Debbath.

Hurra Torpedo confirmed for this year's Quart Festival

Hurra Torpedo is one of the first five bands to be confirmed to this year's Quart Festival in Kristiansand, Norway. The other four bands are Black Debbath, Bare Egil Band, Reidar Roses Orkester and Stjerten. One of these bands will open the Bendiksbukta stage each day of the festival.

Hurra Torpedo played the same stage back in 1996 together with Rage Against the Machine. This will be the only festival appearance by Hurra Torpedo in Norway this summer.

Thank you and goodbye

The Hurra Torpedo US tour is over for this time and we are all back in Norway. We just want to let you all know that we are in good health and spirit. Let us also thank all of you silly American people who showed up at our shows and gave us such a great welcome. A special thanks go out to those of you who travelled for hours just to see us. That was well worth it for you! (As long as you didn't go to St Louis. Sorry about that.)
And to those of you who didn't go: Too bad, suckers! We won't be back for a long time! And then we will be older and the show will probably be weaker!

Hurra at Warp Tour

So tonight Hurra Torpedo played the Warp tour in Milwaukee and we had the greatest time. Thanks to Sean, our busdriver who made it happen and the good people of the festival who let us play. It was totally awesome!
And if you want to know how good we are, check out a review of our Nashville gig.

St Louis show cancelled

We´re terribly sorry about the cancellation of our St Louis show. The promotor had to cancel and there was nothing we could do about it. We tried to find another venue or find some other sollution, but it wasn´t possible on such short notion. Again, we are terribly sorry and we hope we can make it up to you one time in the future.

Bless you all and come to Chicago instead!

Hurra!

More freezers needed

We're having a great time in the US so far. A big thanks to all of you sha-la-la people who have contributed to make this tour such a great and memorable experience so far. All the gigs have been awesome! Maybe especially the Wakarusa festival with thousands of beautiful hippie people discovering the beauty of ktichen appliance music for the first time, but alsom Nashville last night. And of course Boston, New York and Falls Church. You all rock.
But we have one problem that keep coming back to haunt us: It's so hard to find good chest freezers in this country! If someone in Atlanta, Nashville, St Louis or Chicago, or somewhere inbetween know the whereabouts of a good chest freezer, please send us a message.
And keep on spreading the word!

Freezer needed

We have purchased a great backline from a Boston father-and-son appliance store. They had almost everything we needed, but not all. So if anyone in New York knows of a deep freezer (with the lid on top), that isn't needed anymore, please tell us! We need it by Thursday and it's really, really important.
