My journey with Myspace has been interesting to say the least. I signed up back in early 2005, after months of refusing while people insisted I join.
I originally signed up just as a respectful member, later turning my page into a band page that Spring. Since then I made a number of friends, some who've come and gone; a few I met in person, most I haven't, some I intend to... or I hope to.
It's not only myspace, only mostly at the present moment, that has connected me with people all over the world, with people that are so incredibly talented and simply brilliant, and some of the greatest friends and people I've ever known. It definitely was the icebreaker for me, in many ways. Through the technology of today, many people now know my work, know me, and I know them, and had the honor of working with some of the most incredible musicians all over the world. And I'm thankful for all of it.
We all face challenges in our lives, this year I've had my share myself. Some days it's a continuous struggle. But it's these connections that help me to be strong, and help me to hold on, aside from having the three greatest kids on the planet. So then those who are truly here for that friendship, for work and any type of productive, kind, creative connection, I thank you, from the bottom of my heart. To me, I'm not interested in having 500,000 friends or plays as some may; I'd much rather have a small handful, that keep this fire burning in my heart to keep my dreams alive; I don't care about being rich or famous, only happy and content, doing what I love; and that's where I think I'm headed. I feel very blessed.
So, that said, within all its gooeyness, ;-) I wish that all your dreams come true this Holiday Season, and that all your dreams come true in the New Year. Thank you for your continuous support and love. I may not always say it, but I do appreciate it. God bless you all.
