Transformers...

What's up with Sam running away from Barricade and then again from MF Megatron? Sam is six feet tall, Megatron is a 30 foot tall robot that can turn into a mucking supersonic future jet with crazy weapons. Why did Sam try to give the Cube to a marine helicopter? What the muck are they  going to do in a chopper when Megatron is chasing it? Why was Starscream and most of the rest of the Decepticons only in the movie for a few minutes and only have one line each? Why was there a transformer on mars? How the hell did Megatron die? Why did Megatron say "I am Megatron!" as his first line in the movie? We already know he is Megatron. MUCK YOU STUPID SCRIPT WRITERS and MUCK YOU MICHAEL BAY. The horror... the horror...

TO WHOMEVER MAKES THE SEQUEL: Make the mucking movie about the transformers and cut out all the human garbage. Sam is OK, everyone else can go muck themselves. Thanks.

Soccer, Stanley Cup, and more!

So I saw the Stanley Cup today as it was making a visit to San Clemente, CA. By happenstance I woke up early that morning to take a walk on the beach which I usually don't do on Saturday mornings. I noticed a large crowd down by the beach gathered around something that was being pushed around on a cart. To my surprise it was the Stanley Cup. Thanks Ducks for the memorable morning!

Another awesome thing that happened today: I locked my keys in my trunk of my 350 Z. Joy Joy. I almost had a panic attack because I had to take a crap really bad at the time. Haha! To make the situation worse there are no exits in the parking garage that don't require a key. I'm so stupid. The result of the crazy situation was some scratches on the passenger side door opener of my Z by the crappy locksmith that AAA called :(

Short and sweet: I played soccer today, and I'm totally not in shape anymore to play soccer. I also got my website back up, and am now going to update it with more goodies. My profile images now are back online as well. Happy Happy.

***two number ones - Lindsay knows me too well and knocked some sense into my head. Although I prefer the Magic Kingdom version of the ride. The Disneyland Paris version is also pretty rad because Big Thunder is an island and the train goes through a tunnel under the "Rivers of America" or whatever the hell they call it "en francias".

So I picked up Pokemon Pearl today! Yes, I despite that my profile says I'm 23, I lied - I'm really 12 years old. Many people have extreme hate for Pokemon which I don't understand. I agree that the cartoons are annoying as all get out, but the games are rock solid rpgs, good fun, and quite entertaining.

In other gaming news, your friendly neighborhood myspace obsidian programmer was mentioned twice in a gamespot interview about the Expansion for Neverwinter Nights 2 with my good friend Kevin Saunders. I am not really even working on the Expansion project, yet Kevin gave me mad props which I am truly thankful for. I'm really looking forward to the Expansion and everything I've seen and played really rocks hard. Check out the interview here:

All Moved!

All moved into my new place. Shon (my roomy) and I finally got our internet hooked up. All that I need now is a bed. Although my super bitchin blow up matress is comfy so I don't mind.

So, God of War II is fucking beast and it clearly beats out anything on the 360 and PS3 in every department. It seems like the lead designer looked at every moment of that game and asked "Is this fucking awesome?" and if the answer from the team was a "No, it's not." then the response would be "Why is it in this game then? Redo it and make it fucking awesome."

Not a bad way to design a game. Every moment is so over the top - it's just so glorious...

I'm working on some sick stuff right now at home on top of all the crazy work I'm putting into Aliens during the day. Hopefully I'll have some stuff to show on my sweet homepage: www.adambrennecke.com in the next few weeks. And yes, it is 'The coolset website ever.'

So, I'm moving to Costa Mesa in a few weeks. It's going to be a great change of pace for me. I get lonely living alone, and having a roommate will be fun. Also it's close to work so I will only have a ten minute commute. Even better, the hottie concentration is very high. Sweet. *Air Guitar*

I've been watching Aliens on repeat this weekend. For those uncool peeps that don't know, I'm working on a Aliens RPG game at Obsidian. Hudson is such a great character and he reminds me of myself.

I've also been playing Zelda: Twilight Princess a bunch too. It's a great game, but I can't put my finger on why it's not a classic. I feel that it has too much hand holding which goes against what Zelda is all about. When it's finished, I'll make another update with my thoughts.

Time to go play softball.
