Uncovering new trends, talent and music that the mainstream normally wouldn't come across, but which has potential to be 'the next big thing'. Discovering artistes, bands, singers and songwriters in any language who have a local fan following and loads of talent and bringing them to a wider audience.

What’s new with MySpace?

Howdy!
Whatz new with MySpace? Well, pretty much everythin'. We have a whole new nav bar with powerful interfaces right at the top of your page (look up, do!); a super-cool profile editor to make your virtual self appear so much hotter; and if that wasn't enuf, we are also going live with a whole new homepage. So, we have a whole new look, feel and gut to MySpace.
However, the soul remains the same. We are committed to bringing you the best of music. With that in mind, we've launched the underground. Its all about 30 new bands and film schools doing a whole different kind of music and exclusive videos we guarantee you have not seen anywhere. Friend it and get a chance to vote for the best of what's next.
Holler, blog, or simply write in to us! We wanna hear you. So whatcha waiting for?

New Look MySpace Navigation Bar

Hello everyone!
Soon MySpace is going to change. We have tweaked the navigation bar at the top of your page to make all of the functions we know you use most often easier to access. The new navigation bar has seven main links to help you navigate MySpace: 'Home', 'Mail', 'Profile', 'Friends', 'Music', 'MySpaceTV', and 'More'. It also has two sub-links to the far right: My Account and SignOut.
The Profile and Friends links give you easy access to your own profile and your list of friends. In "More" you'll find the features that used to be present in the Nav (Forums, Groups, Classifieds, for example) that we have grouped together to make it less cluttered up top.
Several menu items expand to give you more options (indicated by the arrows). This allows you to view your profile, check your comments, send messages and do most of your most common actions instantly. It's quicker, easier and more useful than navigating was previously. Access your account settings at any time on the site from the tab on the right and should you ever for some unknown reason want to leave our wonderful space hit signout.
We know you have all really taken to mood and status updates so we've incorporated that in the nav bar too. You can now tell anyone you're bored, horny, anxious or watching eastenders at any point while on the site. Search still serves its function and don't forget we have improved our search functionality to make it easier for you to find the profiles you are looking for.
The submenus contain the following links:
Mail: Compose, Inbox, Sent Mail, Saved Mail, Address Book
Profile: Edit Profile, My Comments, My Photos, My Videos, My Blogs, My Schools, My Favorites
Friends: Online Friends, Friend Requests, Friend Updates, Mood/Status, Favorites, Browse Friends, Find Friends (Search), Invite Friends
More: Forums, Groups, Classifieds, Events, Top Blogs, IM, Mobile, Comedy, Film, Games
Having all this functionality up top means we can remove some links from your home page so read our next blog to see what will change.

Team IndiHub is working ridiculous hours getting ready for the party next week - but whatever- cigarettes and Coke are good enough for me. I just went to the Land's End Amphitheater to check it out- it's gonna be craz-y! Also, I just got news that Chris DeWolfe- CEO of MySpace- is flying in from Beverly Hills, California, which is really cool. He's been to MySpace launches all over the globe and I told him that our party in India is going to blow everything else out of the water! O-K- My phone is ringing off the hook- everyone wants on the list for the party- ahhhhhhhh!- everyone STOP calling me! J/K! No- seriously- if you want to come- all you have to do is add IndiHub as your MySpace Friend and you're in. Just go to www.myspace.com/Indihub, click "Add Friend" at the top. Anyone who is on our Friends List will be on the guest list. Write more later- need cigarette.
