Easter 2008



Do you realize how early Easter is this year? It’s March 23!  As
you may know, Easter is always the first Sunday after the first full
moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20).  This dating of
Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to
identify Passover, which is why it moves around in date on our Roman
based calendar.



A couple of things you might be interested in - Based on the
above, Easter can actually be one day earlier (March 22) but that is
pretty rare. Here’s the interesting info. This year is the earliest
Easter any of us will ever see the rest of our lives! And only the most
elderly of our population
have ever seen it this early (95 years old or above!). And none
of us have ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier!



Here are the facts:



1)   The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be
the year 2160

2)   The last time it was this early was 1913 (so if you’re 95
or older, you are the only ones that were around for that!).

3)   The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be
in the year 2285 (277 years from now).

4)   The last time it was on March 22 was 1818.  So, no one
alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year!

the Chimpunk Chronicals

Well it is the 3rd day after surgery and yes i have chimpunk cheecks...pics will beposted shortly. But...i was talking by day 1..which hurt but you know me! cant shut up! hehe

my teeth feel like there still there just aching...phantom teeth.

my jaw is very sore because they had to basically pry it open to get the wisdom teeth out. well first of all, i cant open my mouth very wide an then with the numbing shots...! yeah fucking right..lol

I was awake so for the non-squemish who want to know what its like while awake,,ask away..trust me..its not fun.

My roomies birthday is tommarow an even though im happy that i lost weight-hopefully-by being on a liquid diet for about 3 days...with some solids last night..i will be cute in a bikini but weird looking with my puffy chimpunk cheecks.

well my appt check up is on the 21st and then im heading off to see my fiance for two months! hopefully all will be go0d and well my jaw wont be in fricken pain!

Ryan i love you to death but why must you live across the ocean in japan! muah!

Well. ...lez see...tommarow is my last final, theatre, and my audition for 130s. advanced drama program at school. Saturday is my xmas party, i know it was smart of me to put it the day before chrismas eve..i forgot! lol  So yeah, then Christmas. yay! presents! then 5 days later heading on this family vacation to South America/Antartica!! all thru this cruising company trip thing. Im spending New Years in S. America!! Argentina i think. Thaz like a week and half..then 3 days home then off to the planes again. This time im off to see my baby!! yay!! Im soo excited i have a countdown on my site! Lol.

well i forgot what else i wrote before. so yeah

Diary of Anne Frank play and discusion

Well this is a play im talkng about.The local Jewish COmmunity Center is putting on the play. Diary of Anne Frank. It was good. although they changed it to a musical.

My freind spoke afterwords..she was in aushwitz during the war and described how she was sent to the gas chambers twice, but they changed their mind then, she was on the Death March and survived and when she was liberated i believe she said she was in a train car that the british bombed or shot and she nearly missed death because her head waslow enough, although 7 of the girls with her died.

There was some quotes she said that stay in my mind: she said how "oneof Gods greatest gift was the gift of memory". And as a victim from 9/11, I know how true that was. then at the end of the play before Anna left the stage and Dr. Edie refrenced it saying how " no matter what happens in the world, I still believe there is good in people." Another thing i believe in.

Well thaz about it. its ok if no comment, but thanks for reading. The play moved me a bit, as the tale always does, and i realized how true...how good it is to be alive.

Well opening night of Beyond Therapy was last night.It went great!! come support us ya'll. Itll be tonight at 8pm and tommarow at 7pm. This weekend....friday and saturday at 8pm, sunday at 7pm.

After party afterwards..thank god my freind came to drive me home..lol my theatre mentor made me do 3 shots of vodka/sprit, and i also had a beer. did imention im a fuckin lightweight?? lol

Well it all went well..and it was alot of fun! hope to see you all sometime at the play. Im not in this one..im in the costume crew. Lates peeps.

The Creation Of Michigan

Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Heaven, God was missing for six days.
Eventually, Michael the archangel found him, resting on the seventh day. He
inquired of God, "Where have you been?"

God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction and proudly pointed downwards
through the clouds, "Look Michael, look what I've made."

Archangel Michael looked puzzled and said, "What is it?"

"It's a planet," replied God, "and I've put Life on it. I'm going to call
it Earth and it's going to be a great place of balance."

"Balance?", inquired Michael, still confused.

God explained, pointing to different parts of earth,

The Archangel, impressed by God's work, then pointed to a large land mass
and said, "What's that one?"

"Ah," said God. "That's Michigan , the most glorious place on earth. You'll
notice that it is made in the fashion of my hand, the Hand of God. There
are beautiful lakes, rivers, sunsets and rolling hills. The people from
Michigan are going to be modest, intelligent and humorous and they are going to be found traveling the world. They will be extremely sociable, hard working and high achieving, and they will be known throughout the world as diplomats and carriers of
peace."

Michael gasped in wonder and admiration but then proclaimed,"What about
balance, God? You said there would be balance!"

God replied w isely, "Wait until you see the idiots I'm putting around them
in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Canada"
