3:42 PM - Back on track
Kristof aka K-Man

6:40 AM - It Said is back alive
First of all an update, me and Kun are back in Belgium since New Year, removed, sttled down. Winter's almost half so The Dump Brothers will be hitting the streets more and more. We have a new CD just released with some fancy new songs. Meanwhile Erno, the Doctor and me decided it's about time to have It Said re-emerged from the Darkness. For those ignorant: It Said is the noise/improvisation trio feat the Dr. on guitars and myself and Erno as a riddim section. Due to our extremely busy Dump Brothers 2007 schedule (over 200 shows in the past year!) It Said was put on hold. We will play our first gig since a year on March 13 in café Yao Yao on Dageraadplaats Antwerp. Further we will feature on a Documentary Theme Night organized by the Campina in the Caddixstraat, on which event we will provide the soundtrack.
As a preview, the dr. and me recorded a little ditty last week. It features a sequencer (sorry Erno), 2 guitars and 2 basses. The track can be found on our Soundclick page...

Good News and Better News from the It Said
IT SAID:
Well we found Erno back to start with. Some of his parts were dragged up near his place from the river (his private parts to start with), the other missing bits were found behind the curtain onstage of the Bottomline in optima forma. Which brings us to the even better news: a one and a half hour set Thursday 20/4/06 at Circo Del Fuego's Squat left the audience literally speechless, then reprise two days later at the Bottomline, albeit in a quite different line-up. Guest appaerances by the notorious Mickey on fluto traversale, Kun Fang on vocals, and - as Erno was too busy involved in what in Belgium is known as "Neukdag", we found a well done temporary replacement by Timo, currently drummin' for Roadhouse Libra. And last but not least to add the extra line-up was Hans Dub (synths and fx), also responsable for recording this gig.
