Well now that I've got free time again I went ahead and joined Adria the medieval reenactment group. I used to have fun with the SCA back in the day and decided that Adria was probably a good outlet for me. I know a lot of the folks involved with it here locally and figured it would be a good way to get me up off my ass so that I don't mope around waiting for Rocky to come around. I had a good time this past weekend got to sword fight a little with someone over the age of 18 which is always a plus. Figured I could use the practice with the ren faire right around the corner. Anyway that's whats going on in my little world.

Movin on thanks to my friends

Just wanted to thank all my friends for being there for me. From Juggy, Becca Mary, Gwen, Sara, Kitten and Meg calling and checking in and from the emails and messages from ya'll it's been a big help. As ya know Its been a very rough couple of weeks. I go through the usual knowing the split is the right thing to do and missing the hell out of Tanya stuff all at the same time. Coupling to that stress was the stuff with my dad have a triple bypass this week that sure didn't help matters any. Then I also had to find a new place to live which is always a pain in the ass even under the best circumstances at least this time I had a week and change to do it.  I did find a place to live thanks to Michelle. It's near my theater so I'll save a bunch in gas money. Unfortunatly the rents a little more than I wanted so I may be looking for a roommate down the road. I'm gonna be moving most of my stuff tonight. Gotta see about getting a couple of people together to help me load and unload its just a van full so shouldn't take long, might even toss a few bucks at my staff at work and have them do it. Part of me doesn't want to do it because then it kinda makes everything final... Guess that's my inner sap coming out. I'll finaly break down and get the van from work and load it up sometime this evening. I'm still a lil tired from Last Nights Fetish party. Thanks To Gail, Lar, Kim, Jody, Amanda, Brehendan and Janel had a great night out always good to see ya'll thanks for helping me escape for a lil bit. Also got a call today that cheered me up a bunch planning for screamfest stuff. So that's it just wanted to say thanks to my friends and here's to moving on to the next thing.

My 1st Rocky Horror Related Experiance With Barry

Wow what can I say. I was thrilled this past week to finally Meet up with Barry at a Rocky Horror Related event. The last time I met him, it was brief and I didn't want to bring up rocky horror so I smoozed about Spin City and Grease... In Case ya'll didn't know I played Kinickie once upon a time, and he created the role of the male lead Danny Zuko, So we talked about that... This was back in 96 I think.  I avoided the Rocky Horror Thing because I know he gets it all the time. So how psyched was I when Mike with the Delray Film Festival told me he got Barry to come down for the show.... Well as you know putting a cast togther that could pull off a great show with two weeks noticed isn't an easy task especially on a Thursday night. So what to do what to do. I knew I had some of my Core people from My Show and a few of the Carefree folks who've helped me out alot Especialy Juggy... With out him this Task would have been a sad spectical. So with his help I put the Best Cast Togther I could with short notice. I even called on My Friend John who's up in Orlando to come help out with Playing Frank.. He's one of the best. But I was still short a magenta right up til the last minute When the Faithful Handymen Cast Leader Jeanette came up to help.... BTW She's an Awesome Magenta and it rounded things out nicely because we had representives from all the south florida casts involed. Even Joy The carefree players cast Mom came down to lend support... It was a Great group of folks some of us may have our differences but it was nice to come togther to put on an awesome show.. I also have to mention My Wife Tanya who Really steped up and surprised me. She's had her ups and downs with doing Rocky she works 10+ hours a day so for her its really hard to be up doing something so late but she went above and beyond for this event.. She helped me fix and wash all the costumes. She did Franks and Riffs makeup. And was Johnny on the Spot with the props and helping with the costumes... So a Big Thanks to her and to all who made it possible.... Well when the moment came for me to introduce Barry It was a breeze I had all the moral support I could hope for and we had a great energy going into the show... Barry was so at ease with the whole event you would think that he does these al the time.. As it turns out he doesn't ... and It's a very rare thing for him to come out and Do Rocky ... So I felt honored to have him not only that he Stayed for 90% of the show.... I've done gigs with Cast Alumni before and most of them disapear after timewarp.... Barry was Warm and Humble and I couldn't have asked for a better Rocky Night.. I talked with him during a few of my breaks and I got alot of praise for my portrayal of everyones favorite asshole and coming from him that ment alot.. So now my legendary Rocky Ego is even more inflated. Hopefully I won't piss off to many folks with it but hey I got props from the man himself.. So thhhhhhhbttttt :P . I really want to thank My Cast and Crew again for making this whole thing such a wonderful experience it is definatly the highlight of my "Rockylife"...(tm) Chuck Naked... Thanks go to in no particular order. My Wife Tanya, Juggy, John, Kimmy, Danny, Jeanette, Janel, Brehndan, Joy, Randy, Ryan, Jeromy, Serina, Rich, Jay, Amy, Ricky, Mike P, Sara and Mike Mitzy, Hal by Boss at CP, The Tech Guys at Delray, Barry Bostwick and The Audience at the Delray Film Festival

Big Halloween Show

Hey Hey Kids  Our Big Halloween Show is Tommrow Night. Things Start off at 8pm with movie Feast. Then Ty from the minstirals of Mayham will play a set then The Rocky Horror Picture Show. We've also got a Costume Contest Preshow skits & the whole ball of Wax that is the Rocky Horror Experience. Remeber at our theater  those 21 and over are served beer and wine and can drink during the movies. So to recap the Party is tommrow night $10 bucks for the whole night or just $5 for Rocky Horror but be there early cuz we might sell out..

The Legend of The Rocky Horror Picture Show goes something like this; Rocky Horror was a stage play written by Richard O'Brien in the early 1970's first, titled "The Rocky Horror Show." It was quite a smash in the ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />U.K. and the play came to America. It wasn't long after that the movie "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" was made in 1975. It came out as a regular film and was a relative flop,..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Until a talented young man named Tom Deegan at Fox set Rocky Horror up as a Midnight Movie at the Waverly Theater in Greenwich Village, New York. It was there that a young man named Sal Piro and a young woman named Dori Hartley teamed up with a few other regulars and started yelling lines at the screen, coming in costume, and eventually started the first Rocky Horror cast in New York, or for that matter, anywhere! The rest is history, if you've read Sal's books 'Creatures of the Night' Part I and II. The cast continued to grow, and the idea of performing Rocky Horror continued to spread. Soon all the major cities of America were doing the "cast thing" and after that many smaller town casts sprung up, and eventually, other casts in other parts of the world.

The legendary cult movie continues to find an audience with each new generation and each new venue, which brings us to today. Cinema Paradiso in downtown Fort Lauderdale will be showing the Rocky Horror Picture Show every other Friday at midnight with a live cast and pre-show in a true art house theater environment. Cinema Paradiso had recently hired Frank "Wolf" Connell to be their theater manager unknown to the theater at the time of hire; Frank had a unique relationship to the Rocky Horror community as it turns out. He has been a regular cast member for over 20 years and owns one of the few privately owned prints of the film.

Frank or Wolf as he is known to the Rocky Horror community started going to the New Rochelle, NY. Show when he was 11, Wolf had always been very tall and everyone assumed he was older than he was, so one night at the show one of the cast members didn't show and Wolf was "volunteered" to play Brad. He was then asked to play on several other occasions until 1989 when he moved to Florida with his family. It took him about a year to find another cast, remember this was a time before the internet. So sometime in late 1990 he hooked up with the Night Breed cast in Ft. Pierce FL, He was there thru 1995 when he took a hiatus from the show to run his computer repair business. It was that same year that his business took off and he purchased a print of the film. Wolf had been going around the country to various conventions during his hiatus and meeting various people in the Rocky Community including Richard O'Brien, Lou Adler, Pat Quinn Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick and Meatloaf among others. During a late night chat with Richard, Pat and Lou, Wolf talked about his print of the film and the subject came up about rights to show it etc. and right there on a hotel napkin Richard and Lou gave him their blessing to show the movie with his cast anywhere that would show it. Well while this wasn't a traditional arrangement Wolf photo copied the napkin and wrote to CBS/FOX distribution at the time to see if he could get something a little more formal. Well months went by and the effort seemed wasted when He got a letter in the mail from someone at Fox Filmed Entertainment granting him permission to show print with a few stipulations. In the years since Wolf has shown his print a few times but usually he's just performed with an existing cast be it the Carefree Players in West Palm Beach or The New York City Cast which he help run from 2001 to 2003 or with the Faithful Handymen in Hollywood Fl. Wolf has been a constant in the Rocky Horror Community and now brings those years of experience to Cinema Paradiso where starting July 6^th at midnight, Rocky Horror finds a new home and audience. Cinema Paradiso is located 503 SE 6 Street in downtown Fort Lauderdale, one block east of Broward County Courthouse on the south bank of New River and serves Beer and Wine to those over 21.

Soap Opera Life

Well the soap opera that is my life keeps going.. I get home last night around 5pm after doing some Doctor and disability stuff and guess what ? The locks are being changed some after a big WTF!!! I come to find out that the old lady i was renting from decicded to rent the house to this Old Drunk/Addict that was staying for "a couple days" So Im told I need to get my stuff out etc. Well when I get to my room I find my Mason Stuff missing my fiancees ring missing all the coins from my piggybank "bout 20 bucks" and the asshole drunk being an asshole drunk. Arggggggg... So Tanya comes over to help me pack my stuff and a few of her frriends come ove to pitch in.. thanks ya'll and i get pretty much everything out. Im staying with Tanya and James til monday but this is a ver temp thin I have a couch for a few days after that at another friends but I need new digs and Im selling a few things antique wise today or will at least be trying to. If anyone is looking for a roommate in the palm beach to hollywood area let me know Wolf

Idiot Brother Strikes Again

So he fucks up the life of these cops. I'm sure some of them will have issues now.I'm pretty sure my brother is HIV neg but Im not sure bout the Hepitisis I seem to remeber he was exposed to it or something.... Don't really recall but still. Whats really fucked up is they will probably turn him loose yet again. Sure my dumb ass bro is in a mental hospital for a few days  Great hope they lock him up for awhile actually. The worst thing is my Ma is being torn up again and again. Anyone wanna know why I think drugs are fucked? Read the above and know my little bro started out smoking weed at 12, then started doing X then tried coke and got hooked then moved to crack and who knows what else. I've seen my brother sober for all of 4 days in the past 15 years. I really hoped at Thanksgiving this past year he was past it but he's only gotten worse since his 1st Baby was born.. Addicted I might add way to go Megan!!! another proud Crackhead Mother... Fortuanatly My Baby Bro Scotty and His Girl Friend steped up to take care of Azzie with My Ma. So for any of you idiot Friends of mine who think Drugs are okay and should be legal look no further than my Family it all started with Pot and Drinking. My brothers and I had the same upbringing Mom and Dad are still toghter after 33 years. Can't blame it on the upbringing but the general attitude that drugs are cool was what lead to the down fall of My Family and ya know some you can say you can handle your drugs etc. My brother thought the very same thing for years. I really hope the ones amongst you who use out grow it and don't end up like him...

Well the couple things I really need cost more than a few bucks Need to get the Car fixed cant drive right now.. Thats $150. Need to go back to the Docs Tummy has gotten bad again need at least $85 for that.
