Limited Edition Oakley JK15 Sunglasses!

As you may have read, fashion icons Oakley have launched a special edition pair of Jamiroquai sunglasses which come pre-loaded with two exclusive remixes from the band's debut album - Emergency On Planet Earth.

They're called "Oakley 'JK15' Split Thump" sunglasses. The collaboration marks 15 years since the release of E.o.P.E. and the sunglasses will feature an integrated MP3 player with 1GB memory, hidden controls and removable earphones.

Needless to say, they're ultra-exclusive with only 250 available in the world and we have 15 pairs available in the Jamiroquai Official Store.

Sola Akingbola releases his debut solo album

Jamiroquai's long-standing percussionist, Sola Akingbola, has just released his debut solo album. Routes To Roots - Yoruba Drums From Nigeria, is a celebration of the unique percussive style of Sola's birthplace. "I was always seduced by the sound of the Yoruba language and the way it was expressed within the drumming. When a Yoruba drummer plays, it's not just music: he's talking, reciting, teasing, invoking and praising. These qualities open up other worlds of interest for me that go beyond music: worlds that lead me to history, to the essence of my people".

Live in Montreux DVD out now

Live At Montreux 2003 out now!

Studio update

The studio is being fully redecorated and revamped to make it more user friendly for doing some more writing in the summer months. Jay is really looking forward to getting in there in the summer to create some new tunes with the boys.

Jay Kay 2007 Gumball 3000 Rally

As you may have heard in the press, Jay Kay is taking part in the 2007 Gumball 3000 Rally. He's driving a Maserati Quattroporte as part of the Adidas driving team. The rally commenced yesterday from Pall Mall in London. It will pass through Amsterdam, Istanbul, Athens, Bratislava and Berlin, finishing on 5th May in London. Alright Club Remix - Out Now!

Alright - the 5th and final release in the series of chart-topping club remixes on limited edition 12" vinyl and digital download is released today (26 March).

Taken from the band's 1996 album, Travelling Without Moving, the single has been remixed for 2007 by Alan Braxe & Fred Falke - who fans will recall also remixed Runaway last year.

The 12" vinyl release (catalogue no. 88697079471) and digital download contains the following tracks:

• Alright (Toddy Terry's In House Remix) - 7.20
