Do you realise how valuable you are?
Current mood: calm
Category: Life
I recently joined AGLOCO because of a friend recommended it to me. I am now promoting it to you because I like the idea and I want you to share in what I think will be an exciting new Internet concept.
AGLOCO's story is simple:
Do you realize how valuable you are? Advertisers, search providers and online retailers are paying billions to reach you while you surf. How much of that money are you making? NONE!
AGLOCO thinks you deserve a piece of the action.
AGLOCO collects money from those companies on behalf of its members. (For example, Google currently pays AOL 10 cents for every Google search by an AOL user. And Google still has enough profit to pay $1.6 billion dollars for YouTube, an 18-month old site full of content that YouTube's users did not get paid for!
AGLOCO will work to get its Members their share of this and more.
AGLOCO is building a new form of online community that they call an Economic Network. They are not only paying Members their fair share, but they're building a community that will generate the kind of fortune that YouTube made. But instead of that wealth making only a few people rich, the entire community will get its share.
What's the catch? No catch - no spyware, no pop-ups and no spam - membership and software are free and AGLOCO is 100% member owned. Privacy is a core value and AGLOCO never sells or rents member information.
So do both of us a favor: Sign up for AGLOCO right now! If you use this link to sign up, I automatically get credit for referring you and helping to build AGLOCO. agloco

Pilanesberg starts cleaning up after blaze
Category: Travel and Places
Pilanesberg starts cleaning up after blaze Conservation authorities in the North West province have been left reeling after a week-long fire destroyed most of the Pilanesberg National Park bordering Sun City. Cautious estimates point to hundreds of thousands of rands' damage to infrastructure at the park and a bill for mop-up operations that already stands at just under R1-million. Park officials will now begin the difficult task of ascertaining how many of the park's Big Five were lost. North West Parks and Tourism spokesperson Mamaki Phoolo confirmed that firefighters managed to get the runaway blaze under control early on Friday. She said more than half of the 50 000-hectare park was destroyed, although sources in the department said at least 75 percent of the vegetation was lost. The fire was discovered a week ago and raged for several days as firefighters couldn't reach the mountainous terrain. Both the Mogwase and Sun City fire departments were called in to assist park staff, many of whom were physically fighting the blaze with grass beaters. The National Disaster Management Centre in Pretoria provided two Oryx helicopters fitted with 2 000-litre water buckets at a cost of R45 000 an hour. Phoolo said the two camps at the park - valued at about R60-million - were saved from any damage but that the cost for the two helicopters was about R900 000. Park damage is estimated at R125 000 and includes toilets at the Kubu picnic site, a toolshed with equipment, herbicides and signage. Officials will be conducting flights over the burnt area in the next few days to look for injured and dead game, said Phoolo.

Project to increase the distribution area of Black Rhinoceros
Category: News and Politics
A Project has been launched in Dikholo (South Africa) with the aim of increasing the distribution areas of the Black Rhinoceros in Kwa-Zulu-Natal.462 Black Rhinos are currently located in that province, while the whole of South Africa has 1,000 and together with Namibia, Zambia and Kenia, the Black Rhino now totals 3,600. In 1970, more than 65,000 Black Rhinos could still be found in those four countries. Although those figures have been turned around, the Black Rhino still remains on the critical endangered species list. The problem now emerges that the growth of the Rhino population is slowing down as the Parks are reaching their saturation point. The idea is to settle the Black Rhino on privately owned ground that is suitable for them. The Rhino will remain the property of Enzemvelo KZN Parks but half of the newly bred calves, will be handed over to the property owners. The aim is to increase the Black Rhino numbers in the province to 1,000 and in South Africa to 3,000. huntersouthafrica
