Ladies of Legend: Newest Release - August 2008
Current mood: giddy
Category: Writing and Poetry

Come and take a look! The newest paperback release in the Legend Series is set for August 2008.

Beauty and the Beast, by Janet Eaves, is packed with deceit, lies, mystery, and of course, romance. The hero is too young for the heroine, but his cute, surfer-boy looks, magic hands, and yes, sassy mouth, turn out to be more than she can resist. Of course, if he makes her mad enough, she always has the option of killing him... but what she doesn't know is that he has that option, too.

This novella is currently available electronically through ResplendencePublishing.com if you prefer... I just hope you check it out... and can't put it down!

 Hugs,

Janet Eaves

Dark Angel Review, Rated "A Recommended Read" WhooHoo!
Current mood: grateful
Category: Writing and Poetry

Catcher Stevens is trained to heal the broken men and women The Agency sends his way. Receiving the legendary agent Polly Chapman as a patient is an opportunity he won't pass up. As Catcher unravels Polly's story, he realizes he may have volunteered for more than just physical therapy. Their budding feelings for each other may be the only way to bring her back from the edge of despair.

After losing the precious few people she was supposed to protect, Polly Chapman has been disfigured and beaten down by the criminal who haunts her every step. Delving into self-pity and depression, Polly is not ready for her sexy young physical therapist to bring out feelings she would rather leave buried. Polly must decide if she's ready to move on and get back in the game, or if she will let a murderer rule her life and dreams forever.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is an inspiring and sensual story of love found in the midst of unimaginable pain and loss. Janet Eaves does a fantastic job of bringing her characters to life. Everything flows together nicely and the author deals with story telling with an ease that marks great talent. The heroine is sassy and fun, while the hero is mischievous and seductive. The sexual tension is extremely thick throughout the book and a couple of the scenes are pleasantly naughty. The turn of events are unexpected and surprising. I enjoyed letting the plot unfold to see what happened next. The minor characters contribute refreshing comedic relief to a serious themed story. Adding a few new twists to an old and truly classic fairy-tale, Janet Eaves crafted an action-packed, steamy tale of romance and love.

Contracted for Christmas Anthology: The Christmas Gift Today!
Current mood: crushed

Boy, Legend is growing fast!  I hope you’ve had a chance to get our first Anthology, Ladies of Legend: Finding Home. It will introduce you to the town and many of the characters who live there and are moving in. As we continue to add to the series, and grow the town, you will get to laugh and cry with our characters, love and hate with them too. And you might just find yourself a little over-stimulated at times..., hmmmm. Well, you can keep that to yourself, but if you get a chance, let us know how you like our town!

Hugs,

Janet Eaves

Popping Cherries in Legend. Tennessee
Current mood: aggravated
Category: News and Politics

PUBLIC NOTICE

Popping Cherries owner Savannah Slye was arrested on Main Street Monday evening for indecent exposure only minutes after her new adult entertainment bookstore opened. The much protested business venture has brought discord to the otherwise peaceful community. There will be a town meeting Thursday evening at the Old Meeting House off Main Street to discuss options open to residence who do not support this establishment remaining in Legend. All are welcome. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Flyers provided by Mrs. Winnefred Butler, concerned citizen

Author's Note: Winnie Butler is introduced in Claiming the Legend, Book One in the Ladies of Legend, Finding Home anthology and may be coming to you again soon if we can pull the stick out of her.... never mind.

SUCCESS IS NOT FOR THE TIMID
Category: Goals, Plans, Hopes

"I will do today what others won't so I can have tomorrow what others can't."

No, it isn't my quote, but it is my sentiment.

I am pursuing life.  Not a living.  Life.

In a very short period of time I will have the ability, through strong work ethic, determination, and a PLAN, be able to fill my days with anything I want, without financial concerns.  The lack of financial conserns equal FREEDOM, time and money to share, life as we are meant to live it.

I would love to share what successful people already know.  But I have to be asked.  It's really that simple.

May all be so blessed.

Blurb:

For a decade Lilly Peach has been running - just to exist. Now she has a chance for a normal life in a quaint little town so small it isn't even on a map. In Legend, she feels she can build a quiet life safely, without the threat of being found by those who seek to destroy her.

Jim Hood, known as the living legend of Legend, Tennessee, gave up a lucrative position in the NFL to coach for his hometown's high school football team five years earlier. His phenomenally successful program has garnered national attention, bringing media to the formerly unknown town. Only one game stands between him and the fulfillment of a life-long dream - taking the Legend Dragons to a national championship.

Instantaneous sparks fly when Jim and Lilly meet, an inferno of desire and affection follows. When strange things start to happen Lilly must decide if loving him is worth the risk to life and limb. For Jim; is loving her worth the sacrifice of a dream?

Each must decide before their time runs out.
