Slave2Fashion show and LA Kink Ball-photos, etc.

I recently had the honor of walking for Torture Garden Latex in the Kink Ball Slave2Fashion show in Los Angeles. I met some wonderful people, and I had a great time. A special thanks to David of Torture Garden for having me model, and to Viktoria for styling my hair.

I have only seen a few shots from the event so far, so if anyone knows where more of them are posted, please let me know :) For more pics of the event, visit www.erosartist.com

(((All poshed up for Torture Garden. Behind me are the lovely VonLivid, Athena Fatale and Jean Bardot. EDITED because Tom hates titties)))

If you have a fetish for hobnobbing with models and makers, movers and shakers, divas and fetishistas of the International scene this is THE PARTY  for you. Break out your fetish finery and lube up for what is shaping up to be a most fabulous lead off event.

Our venue for this gala event is the world-renowned Hollywood Knitting Factory, famous for launching the careers of many of today's hottest musicians. Located in the very heart of Hollywood, the Walk of Fame is just a few feet outside the club's front door.  And a few steps away are the Kodak Theatre, home of The Academy Awards, and the equally famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre. You simply can't get more "Hollywood" than this!

Who better to serve as our guest MC for this spectacular evening of fetish fashion than latex icon Rubber Doll. She'll be introducing our many shows throughout the night and leading the way for the unprecedented cast of fetish models who will walk for our guest
designers.  In addition, former Skin Two Editor Tony Mitchell will be joining us all the way from London to co-host this party as well as unveil his new publishing venture TheFetishistas.com. With 20 years under his belt as SK2 Editor, few people have Tony's experience in the world of fetish fashion, so we are extremely happy to have him add his unique sense of style to this event.  ..>..>..>..>..> ..> ..>..>..>..>..>..>

Torture Garden Clothing
We will be presenting a series of fashion shows... one virtually every hour, on the hour, showcasing the respective talents of four of the industry's most highly regarded designers: Torture Garden Clothing (UK), House of Harlot (UK), Pretty Pervy (UK) and Tatjana Warnecke (Berlin).  House of Harlot of course needs no introduction, recognized as one of the finest and most innovative designers in the world. Torture Garden has been on the cutting edge of the fashion world for many years as well. The recent merger between TG Clothing and House of Harlott will greatly impact the face of fetish fashion as we know it, and we are excited to see what these two will be showing.

Pretty Pervy
Two of our designers - Pretty Pervy and Tatjana Warnecke will be making their very first appearance on US soil, and we are honored they have chosen KinkBall Weekend to do so.  Tatjana Warnecke is the hottest new designer on the German scene, combining high fashion and fetish. Her designs are fabulous, and take our word for it, she is going to be "huge".  And what can one say about Pretty Pervy of London with their outrageous latex aliens, insects, animals and sea creatures. And, they've informed us they'll be bringing out several new, never before seen custom designs.  So if you thought they were incredible on the pages of Skin Two and Marquis, just wait til you see them in the "flesh".

Awesome quotes from awesome women

"A man of quality is not threatened by a woman of equality."

"Cautious, careful people always casting about to preserve their reputation or social standards never can bring about reform. Those who are really in earnest are willing to be anything or nothing in the world's estimation, and publicly and privately, in season and out, avow their sympathies with despised ideas and their advocates, and bear the consequences."~Susan B. Anthony

"Let's put one lie to rest for all time: the lie that men are oppressed, too, by sexism--the lie that there can be such a thing as 'men's liberation groups.' Oppression is something that one group of people commits against another group, specifically because of a 'threatening' characteristic shared by the latter group--skin color, sex or age, etc. The oppressors are indeed FUCKED UP by being masters, but those masters are not OPPRESSED. Any master has the alternative of divesting himself of sexism or racism--the oppressed have no alternative--for they have no power--but to fight. In the long run, Women's Liberation will of course free men--but in the short run it's going to cost men a lot of privilege, which no one gives up willingly or easily. Sexism is NOT the fault of women--kill your fathers, not your mothers." ~Robin Morgan

"Feminism is hated because women are hated." ~Andrea Dworkin

"Men who want to support women in our struggle for freedom and justice should understand that it is not terrifically important to us that they learn to cry; it is important to us that they stop the crimes of violence against us" ~Andrea Dworkin

"In my heart, I think a woman has two choices: either she's a feminist or a masochist." ~Gloria Steinem

"Men love putting women on a pedestal because it's so much more satisfying when they knock them off. They fall farther." ~Clare Booth Luce

"In countries like mine, the law is blatantly against women. What we do have, though, is love and community. You never think only of yourself, you always think of your neighbors and family, too.

The problem with a lot of Western women is they think they can help me, that they know what's best for me. Especially feminist women. They come into conversations waving the American flag, forever projecting the idea that they are more intelligent than I am. I've learned that American women look at women like me to hide from their own pain. They can't face their pain, and mine is so obvious, they think they can help me without looking at themselves. But many women in this country are empty. They desperately try to find something to fill the empty space inside them-the lonliness deep inside. In my country, this kind of lonliness does not exist.

In America, women pay the money that is theirs and no one else's to go to a doctor who cuts them up so they can create or sustain an image men want. Men are the mirror. Western women cut themselves up voluntarily. In my country, a child is woken up at three in the morning, held down and cut with a razor blade. She has no choice. Western women pay to get their bodies mutilated." ~Soraya Mire

"Women choose to be catty, cruel, prejudiced, competitive or jealous of each other partly because we grow up learning that negative behavior towards women is perfectly acceptable, and partly because it is a difficult task to see ourselves in our perceptions. Seeing ourselves requires effort and commitment." ~Inga Muscio

Funny Ass Drama...

I recently recieved an email from my ex-boyfriend's wife, who is evidently psychotic and mildly retarded. I practically needed and interpreter to figure out what the silly illiterate bitch was trying to say. She apparently thought I was talking shit about her and figured she'd send me an email about it. Funny thing is, I wasnt. Towards the end of the conversation she is barely writing in english anymore, which made it pretty hard to respond. Anyway, this is too funny-so I thought Id share. Start from the bottom and read up.

Look, this doesnt need to turn into unnecessary drama. Youre over reacting. I met David when I was drunk and whatever happend, that was that. He pursued me, he called me, etc. He imed me and wanted to visit me while he was in San Diego and he said he would be visiting you as well. I told him I dont feel like getting involved in a situation like that, for obvious reasons, and if hes here to visit you then he can stay with you. Hes not my type, and Im not intrested, hence the "you can have him" statement. Im really not seeing a reason for you to be emailing me over this.

Hello Amber,
I didnt say anything negative about you. I told David that if he and you are talking then I dont really need to be talking to him. Hes not my type and you and I already have a sordid past so I figure Ill let you have him. End of story.

Greetings

You have no reason to talk shit about anyone you don't know. If you are saying things about me give me one good reason you think you have the right? You have never spoke one word to me , so where is your judgment coming from?
