SCI FI'S HIT REALITY SERIES GHOST HUNTERS AND DESTINATION TRUTH SCORE RATINGS HIGHS
New York, NY – October 9, 2008 – Last night, brand-new episodes of Ghost Hunters and Destination Truth on SCI FI set series-high numbers for both hit shows.
At 9 PM, Ghost Hunters scored a 2.0 household rating, over 2.7 million total viewers and 1.8 million Adults 25-54, all series highs. Then, at 10 PM, Destination Truth delivered a 1.4 household rating, and earned its best performance to-date among total viewers (1.7 million), Adults 18-49 (1.1 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.2 million).
Next week, the Ghost Hunters head to New York for their first-ever investigation at a winery. Then, on the season finale of Destination Truth, Josh Gates and team set out to find answers behind the myths of two different Gambian creatures.
In October 2004, SCI FI introduced Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson – plumbers by day, Ghost Hunters by night! Enjoying record-high ratings throughout its run, the series is currently celebrating its highest-rated season ever. This fall, new episodes of Ghost Hunters will include the 3rd annual live investigation on Halloween night, this year taking place at the historic Fort Delaware from 7pm-2am. Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International are produced in association with Craig Piligian's Pilgrim Films and Television (American Chopper, Dirty Jobs, The Ultimate Fighter). I am getting a lot of emails from people asking about the tattoo on my right wrist. I guess last nights show was the first show that we filmed since I had gotten it.
Well here is a not so good image of it.
It is a chess piece. The meanings behind it are what makes it so important to me. The 5 points of the crown represent my children. The cross on top represents my wife. The King piece is very important to me for other reasons as well. I grew up playing chess with my father and the king represents him and every night I have always said to my daughters, " I love you princess". They have always said in return, " I love you king". So I was able to roll all these important parts of my life into one small tattoo that I had Ryan Almighty who is a close friend and a great artist in Jamestown New York do for me. SCI FI Channel is 1 Cable Entertainment Network
New York, NY – September 4, 2008 – Last night, the return of brand-new episodes of Ghost Hunters and Destination Truth on SCI FI set series-high numbers for both hit shows and made SCI FI the 1 cable entertainment network in 8-11pm prime for both Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54.
At 9 PM, Ghost Hunters scored a 1.9 household rating, 2.7 million total viewers, 1.7 million Adults 18-49 and 1.7 million Adults 25-54, the series' best premiere performance to-date across key demos, including double-digit growth vs. the March 2008 premiere in Adults 18-34 (+11%). Then, at 10 PM, Destination Truth delivered a 1.3 household rating, 1.7 million total viewers, 977,000 Adults 18-49 and 995,000 Adults 25-54. Destination Truth earned its best premiere performance to-date among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.
Next week, the Ghost Hunters head to New England for two brand-new investigations, and on Destination Truth, host Josh Gates and team make a startling discovery in a remote glacial lake in Iceland.

I was happy to announce the new event at Mt. Washington scheduled for April and I heard that a lot of people signed up already for that one. These people are the lowest life forms! I sort of knew it was fake the minute I heard the name Tom Biscardi, and felt there was no truth to it, but Mathew Whitton, Tom Biscardi, and Rick Dyer claimed they had recovered a Bigfoot body. Now this would have been great news if it was true and would of helped the Crypto field move ahead. It would have opened the door for Scientist and Skeptics to really come together and work with the researchers. So much could have been accomplished. Now comes the truth, today it came back as it was a rubber costume all along. These idiots set back the field so far because of their stupid little antics. I hope these idiots are terrified to leave their homes! Here is the story:

The supposed corpse of Bigfoot has been revealed as nothing but a rubber costume, and the two US men who boasted its discovery are now - like the real Bigfoot - missing, an investigator says.
Matthew Whitton and Ricky Dyer, announced to the world last weekend that they had found a corpse of the legendary ape-like creature in a secret forest location in their home state of Georgia.
But the organisation that arranged that press conference, Searching for Bigfoot Inc, says it was all "a lie" and a "fraud".
Steve Kulls, an investigator, wrote on the Searching for Bigfoot website that, after examining the supposed frozen corpse on Sunday, they found it to be a fake.
"I extracted some [hair] from the alleged corpse and examined it and had some concerns," he wrote.
"We burned said sample and said hair sample melted into a ball uncharacteristic of hair.
"At that time we contacted [Searching for Bigfoot CEO Tom Biscardi, who was present at the press conference] who gave us permission to begin an expedited melting process.
"Within one hour we were able to see the partially exposed head, as I was now able to touch it, I was able to feel that it seemed mostly firm, but unusually hollow in one small section. This was yet another ominous sign.
"As the team and I began examining this area near the feet, I observed the foot which looked unnatural, reached in and confirmed it was a rubber foot.
"Later that day, Tom Biscardi informed us that both Matthew Whitton and Ricky Dyer admitted it was a costume."
Mr Whitton and Mr Dyer agreed to meet Mr Biscardi at a hotel later that day to provide a written admission of what they had done, Mr Kulls said.
But when Mr Biscardi arrived at the hotel, the pair had vanished, he said.
"The motives behind this fraud are still unknown at this time," Mr Kulls said.
"It is still unclear why Whitton who, being a police officer for the Clayton County Police Department in Georgia got up before the world and lied and was complicit in a scheme to defraud in a felonious manner."
It was also revealed that Mr Biscardi paid an "undisclosed sum" to Mr Whitton and Mr Dyer as an advance on the returns expected from the "marketing and promotion" of the Bigfoot discovery announcement.
FoxNews.com reported the sum was rumoured to be $US50,000 ($57,000).
Loren Coleman, who runs Cryptomundo - a website devoted to cryptozoology, the study of hidden animals - said the whole scam appeared to be about money.
Despite the message on Mr Biscardi's company's website, which distanced him from the fraud, she said he was likely to have been part of the sham.
"He's a huckster, a circus ringmaster," she told FoxNews.com.
"It's all about money with him. It probably didn't matter to him whether it was real or not.
"[Mr Whitton and Mr Dyer] probably started out small, as a way to promote their Bigfoot tracking business, and got in way over their heads.
"These are not very intelligent individuals."

Some things that really tick me off!

This whole 3.70 to 4.00 a gallon for gas and home heating oil. I know most of us out there blame the big oil companies, and rightfully so on a lot of it, but there are others we need to blamed even more, The US government! Hey I love the USA and totally support them on most things, but not on this!! Why, I am sure a lot of you are asking. Here are a few reasons. Exxon's first quarter earning statement for 2008 had a profit of $10.9 billion, yes they made one hell of a profit, but they also paid almost $30. billion in taxes. Our government can point the fingers at big oil but they are making a killing off of them and laughing all the way to the bank. Lets take some of that $30. billion and use that to help out the American people. No thats not good enough, then we pay even more taxes on it while we are pumping it into our cars, tell me that is not double, triple and quadruple dipping. Now do not think for one minute I am taking blame totally off of big oil, but really can we blame a company for profiting? That is the American way right? I blame big oil a bit as well but that is a whole other story. We need to do something while trying to find an alternative fuel. Electric, Solar, Geothermal, something, but we also need to worry about now! There are people out there who can not even afford to heat their water due to having an oil fired furnace or water tank, what is going to happen come winter and they can not afford to heat their homes? The average size Oil tank is 175 gallons to 275 gallons. the average cost for heating oil is $3.20 to $3.40 right now meaning that the average cost to fill an oil tank is going to be around $595.00 to $935.00 every 1 to 3 months depending on if you just heat or you use it for heat and hot water, insulation of home and temperature fluctuations. Now that is minimum since the price goes up come winter due to demand. But lets not get to worried about the people who can not afford this added cost, let congress take their vacations and shut down congress while we all still get charged through the roof and have no plan in motion from the people we actually put in office and pay a hell of a lot to ever year. Since the average person in congress makes $169,300 per year and up and the average American citizen makes $50,000. to $70,000. thousand a year why should most of them worry!! They have more then enough in the bank to care, their bills are paid! We truly need people who are just able to pay their bills, average Jill's and Joe's to be in Congress and in the White House! It would be nice seeing someone who truly gave a damn about the American people and not about what does them the best, or what only effects them!

Hey, Grant and I just agreed with Simon and Schuster to write a few more books. These books will not have anything to do with cases that aired on Ghost Hunters. It will be all stuff from either before the show or cases during breaks of the show. It will also get real in depth about certain cases and equipment and investigation styles and so much more. I am letting you all know so I can get some feedback on things you all would want to hear about. Please post here and let us know what sort of things you all are looking for information on so we leave nothing out!
