I NO LONGER HOST HEADBANGERS BALL, READ THIS.
What's up Headbangers!? I finally went through about 1000 messages over the long weekend and wanted to clear up a few things and answer a few questions. First off thanks to everyone who wrote and said they missed me on the show. I had a great time doing the show and was able to help a lot of bands and do some amazingly fun stuff (which you will read about in my book) but I am no longer the host! I haven't been on in over a year. There is no need to write me about which videos you want to see or which videos you don't want to see or what commercial you hate or any of that stuff cause I am on tour and I don't get to see the show until I get home and check my Tivo, even then I pretty much fast forward to see the videos I want to see and that's it. I wrote some blog's for the HATEBREED DVD that you can read on the official HEADBANGERS BALL blog but other than that I don't have any involvement in the show and haven't for some time. As you can see this profile serves as a way for me to promote metal and hardcore that I like and when my book about my time as host of HEADBANGERS BALL comes out I will use this profile to communicate with fans like I always have. Keep supporting aggressive music and thanks for reading this! YOU ALL RULE!

OZZFEST IN DALLAS!!!
OZZFEST Returns As One-Day Stadium Festival With OZZY OSBOURNE And METALLICA - May 13, 2008
All eyes and ears will be on Dallas, Texas Saturday, August 9. Ozzfest — the original and iconic hard rock festival — returns in 2008 as a one-day stadium spectacular that teams Ozzfest founder and namesake OZZY OSBOURNE (in his only U.S. concert appearance this summer) with METALLICA (marking their Ozzfest debut).
Produced by Sharon Osbourne and AEG Live, the all-day festival at Pizza Hut Park in hard music-loving Dallas will feature three stages of non-stop talent (with many Ozzfest alumni) and reliably twisted Ozzfest side attractions.

"Ozzy just finished an 11-month world tour so I think he deserves a summer off," Sharon says about this year's one-day Ozzfest. "We're going to be a stadium destination festival for now — we have gone past doing the sheds every summer. We've given everyone else the blueprint and we have to keep evolving Ozzfest. This is just the beginning; AEG Live and I have a lot of new ideas for Ozzfest."
This year's dynamic line-up encompasses artists who've played Ozzfest before in different incarnations such as Serj Tankian (SYSTEM OF A DOWN); Jonathan Davis (KORN); HELLYEAH's Vinnie Paul (PANTERA) and Chad Gray (MUDVAYNE); KINGDOM OF SORROW's Jamey Jasta (HATEBREED) and Kirk Windstein (DOWN); and Max Cavalera (SOULFLY, SEPULTURA) of CAVALERA CONSPIRACY. Other Ozzfest graduates include SHADOWS FALL, SEVENDUST, DEVILDRIVER, DROWNING POOL and IN THIS MOMENT.
"Ozzy has great relationships with all of the bands that have played Ozzfest," says Sharon. "We're the only real festival for harder edge bands and these artists have been very loyal to us — there is lots of love on this lineup."
Tickets for this year's Ozzfest will go on sale Saturday, May 31.
The Ozzfest announcement comes in the wake of this year's arrival of the metal-oriented Rockstar Energy Mayhem Tour, which will play 30 North American amphitheaters during July and August, the time when Ozzfest is traditionally making its rounds.

There's so much news I don't even know where to start. I just came from a great rehearsal for my solo show this Tuesday night at The Village Pub in Lindenhurst, NY (LONG ISLAND) We added a bunch more songs to my set. It's gonna be killer! I guess the biggest news is that my side project KINGDOM OF SORROW will release our debut album THIS TUES. FEB 19TH. The label says we can get in the top 200 chart if everyone goes out and buys the CD this week so please get it if you have some extra cash and come see me at my appearances. Bring any HATEBREED or ICEPICK stuff you want signed or just come say hello and hear the album!

WHAT THE HELL? WHERE IS JAMEY? AND MORE QUESTIONS!!!
Ok, where do I start? There has been like 3000 messages filled with tons of different questions. I only have a few answers for you right now.
First, I would like to apologize to anyone who added this profile as a friend and did not get accepted. I was trying to add the friends while I was on tour and I kept getting an "error" message. It was driving me crazy! Plus I had limited email access. So add me again! and tell your friends!
Why hadn't I checked the profile in almost 2 months? To be honest the spam was so bad, there was almost 7000 spam messages for dick pills, macys cards, ringtones etc etc. I was just tired of wasting my time deleting it all. Now that I have a little break I am returning messages and deleting the spam.
More answers coming soon! I promise. I will have some big news for you all!

HBB piece on cool metal shop
If any of you guys watched the show this weekend, you know there were some new short form pieces that aired. One of them featured Slipped Disc Records - an awesome and legendery "mom & pop" indie metal store on Long Island, NY (Valley Stream to be exact).
Definitely worth checking out online or in person if you ever get the chance. Any of you guys catch those old photos in the Slipped Disc pieces that aired Sat night? Good/funny stuff!
