Going Home

I'm not gonna lie, I am very scared this morning. I'm going home and telling my parents I'm not going back on the road. Then, I'm going to have to tell them that I'm not going to live with them. Who can honestly say that they wouldn't be scared? Some of you don't know who my parents are...my friends back home didn't call my house "old school Germany" for nothing. My dad is pretty cool and laid back but my mom? She's kinda uptight and very much the strict one. I'm not gonna lie, I'm afraid of my mother. I love my parents don't get me wrong...but I'm seriously afraid of them...or at least my mom. I don't know how I'm going to break it to them.

In all utter honesty, part of me is ready to be out of Colorado. In the words of my sister, "Screw Colorado move to Connecticut." Ha! As tempting as that is, I don't know if I can do that right now. I WANT to...but um, how can I do this? I missed my friends the most in the past six months that I've been gone...okay, them and my dog. I just don't know what I'm going to do. I want to be able to leave it up to God...but to tell you the truth, that scares me. Yeah, I was called to team. Yes, I was called away. But where am I called now?

I'm going home.

Oh, the funny stories from Corey.

So...tonight as I searched through some classifieds, I ran across an ad for Sperm Donations. I mentioned it to Corey because hey, it's like, $1000 for sperm. Cool, right? So...he's been giving me crap for it all night. I was merely looking out for his income and it was just a friggin' suggestion. So...to make matters worse...we were talking to Nat a little later. And I told her about the Donation of Sperm...and the question arose how they got the sperm from the male donators. I really have no clue how those type of things work out...so. I was dumb enough to say, "I think they just pee it out." Yeah, imagine how hard Corey and Nat laughed. Just so you know...that isn't the way it works. Can I really be THAT naive? Wow. *Shakes head* I'm not gonna live this night down...but it's still funny.

I love people. It's amazing how much people are so supportive. I've been blown away by God's phenomanel (is that how you spell it?) power and love these past few days. That, and the three months that He blessed me with have been well worth it. I don't regret anything. And I mean that.

why are people placed into our lives? It would be nice to know. Really. It would.

Anyhow...this weekend was FANFRIGGINTASTIC! Go Construction Zones. I love talking to kids. I love seeing their faces when they're on fire for God. I love seeing when they finally get IT. It makes me kind of sad when I realize that it's so easy to have such a spiritual high when they're surrounded by so many Christians...but it's taking that high back home with them and sharing it with others that gets hard. I know...I've been there (sometimes, I still am). But it's also amazing to see the ones who WANT to do it and who are WILLING to bring Christ into so many people's lives. Anyways...yeah.

I found out something that I'm not sure I really wanted to know or how I should feel about it. It involves someone who is very close to me in my immediate family and I know that I'll always love them no matter what but the question is HOW TO after knowing this...

So. I'm taking a few days off. I'm in the middle of the woods...which is amazing. But we leave tomorrow afternoon. *sad face* I love being outside...I wish I could do this for forever. Thanksgiving is going to be rough for me, I think. But I have my team mates and I know that they love me.  But there's a lot more that's going on inside my head right now than they might think.
