Wow.
The Casbah show was beyond my wildest dreams! I had no idea that all of you would be so down for a Monday night -- thank you!!!

It is a trippy coincidence indeed that my new album ON A STRING and the new Exfriends album JOY OF LIFE arrived from Fedex on the same day. Go figure. Better yet, come out and celebrate at our release shows!

VINYL is here -- bring on the exclamation points!
So long Texas, see you next spring! What a blast playing keyboards in Correatown at SXSW. For real -- loved every second of it -- and in the off time -- holy live music galore. I had way too much much fun checking out new bands, watching this film, and eating tacos and cupcakes. OH... and my friend Kara and I took a little pit stop that led us straight to The Breeders show in Waterloo Park. THE BREEDERS!
Anyway now I’m home and surrounded by piles of ... VINYL. Correatown and I indulged big time and pressed up a split 7" record. It officially goes on sale April 16 at the Belly Up. Come and get it!

Things I’ve been up to.
* Finishing up my new record.
* Figuring out artwork and stuff.
* Re-naming my band.
* Finishing up the new EXFRIENDS record. Holy shit, it rules.
* Making a split 7" vinyl record with CORREATOWN. Yay!!!
* Rehearsing my role as CORREATOWN keyboard player for SXSW 2008. Double yay!!!
* Playing vibraphone on the beautiful new YEARS AROUND THE SUN record, Inva de Siva. I love vibes, I want to marry them.
* Writing a piano score for my friend Erica Filanc's lovely film Inside My Skin.
* Teaching piano lessons.
* Fine-tuning my curry recipe.
* Backbends, headstands.
