8:28 PM - Way to go, Rhia, Care & Joe!
Current mood: indescribable
Category: Life
Follow the link to the CBC news report. The 'death assemblage' mentioned by the curator, as well as the jaw with the mosasaur teeth, were discovered by Rhia, Care and our good friend Joe. I believe they'll be credited as the discoverers in the museum files, as well as in the paper the curator and her husband will be working on. (btw - congrats on the I do's and baby, Anita!)
Joe is also the credited as the discoverer of 'Betsy', a short-neck pleisiosaur that was under excavation the summer I worked at the musuem.

4:11 PM - Mmmnnn Heroes...
Category: Writing and Poetry
I have a new hero, for today. CritGit (and no, I don't know who Crit is really, just... CritGit).
He has given me four new word-phrases to love. I'll feed them and water them and share them... I promise! They could be taken as offensive, so I've blacked 'em out. If you really, really want to see 'em - highlight 'em.
-- -->Highlight here-->Fuckwittery. Bullcockery. Morontwatnicity. Arseaholicism.<--Stop highlight<-- --
Earlier today, my hero (well, still my hero, but a different sort of hero) was MR Sellars. Murv approached a few people for blurbs for Courting Morpheus, and our first one came in. Wonderful man. Wonderful writer. Saved my hide a couple times now... :)
And now I'm going to take my hide and my sarky attitude and go read something hardly anyone has read yet... and I'm gonna say it, nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah nah... I gots it!

2:10 AM - Research Question - Astral/Lucid Dreaming - Xpost
Current mood: curious
Category: Writing and Poetry
If anyone has any experiences calling other people into their dreams (lucid or otherwise) and are willing to share, or if anyone knows where I can dig up some proper information - I'd be much obliged. Sadly, I'm overwhelmed in the 'white-light' new-age stuff and I don't need that. Specifically what I'm looking for is like a gathering of people in dreams, those known before, but not currently in your life right now. Some of you know I've been fascinated by my astral/lucid dreaming and I'm definitely hoping to coordinate this into some sort of work. I've got about 20k in various bits and pieces that all center around this theme and I'd love to finish it off this winter. So - anyone? Anyone? (the first person that says Bueller gets a beating with a wet noodle)

1:24 PM - Family and Friends - A Warning.
Current mood: aggravated
Category: Jobs, Work, Careers
This is a little warning for family and friends that refuse to leave me alone to do my work between the hours of 8-6 Monday -Friday, as I've asked.
Keep it up, and you'll be short one daughter/sister/cousin/friend.
Just because I work from home does not mean I am available to entertain you at all hours. Get it through your skulls. I can not, and from now on, WILL NOT, allow these constant interruptions.
That is all.
