The Journey

We are traveling on a sacred journey.
Moving through space-time within infinite realities and parallel universes. We are blessed with unending possibilities and manifest dreams.  
We are on a journey that will never end, with a destination undefinable.
Yet, we have arrived.

We need search no further than our present circumstances for the answers we seek to our many questions. All is here, NOW. Our current challenges and struggles have come into our life for the greatest purpose. No matter how difficult or seemingly unexpected these situations may be, we have chosen for them to occur at this particular time.

At the center of our souls we all yearn for growth. We long for spiritual awakening and evolution, that we may be stronger, more loving and wise. We often cover up these deep longings with feelings of unimportance and worthlessness. Yet we are the most divine of all creation and we are the creators. We have reached the highest evolutionary potential in all of existence within this present moment. We are it! In our bodies we have the keys to unlock the greatest of ancient wisdoms, passed down since the beginning of creation. And since we have forgotten these things we have chosen to find particular challenges within our lives to help us to wake up to our potential and responsibility.

We have chosen hardships to help us to appreciate the good times. We have chosen anger and hate to show us the way to love and compassion. We have chosen death to teach us that life exists only in its presence.

On my journey I have chosen to have several health problems at different times in my life. Faced with life or death, I have learned to appreciate the simplicity and balance that is necessary to sustain life. I have learned to nurture and love myself in ways that before seemed unimportant.
I also chose to be a part of my father dying of cancer. It was not just I, but my whole family and of course my father that chose to receive these powerful lessons.
In the six year process of his dying I have gained so much wisdom and strength. My mother, younger brother and I are stronger and more abundantly joyful than ever before, for we now know that he is still here with us in every moment.

During this process, I began to study natural medicine and holistic healing. My fathers sickness brought me to face my own health concerns and question the ways that i take care of myself. My attitude towards health and healing has changed completely and I now know that we bring sickness into our lives so that we may become stronger through overcoming it.
This is not to say that anyone necessarily consciously chooses to be sick within their lifetime. They may have chosen to experience these lessons long before they had incarnated into this present life. Their sicknesses and lessons that come with them may be needed healing not only for this lifetime but for many lifetimes of being faced with these certain issues.

When we consciously choose to wake up and heal our souls and emotions we change reality infinitely. Our children and the many generations to come will greatly benifit from every positive action and thought that we create in this life time. In this way we are creators with great responsibility and opportunity.

May we accept our current situations and hold true that they are here for a great purpose. One that will propell us into greater health, happiness, and divine wisdom.
May we also accept that our presence in other peoples lives is of great importance and that we have a great message and healing for them, as they do for us. Let us surrender to this healing process and be gentle and kind to eachother. We are all children learning to be in this world. We are here together because we are one family.

Family: loves, cares for, nurtures, supports, teaches, learnes, accepts, surrenders.

Let us embody and live our own truths, for we all know what is right in our own hearts. This great gift is within us all.
