Yo everybody! Devil's Due finally has a flickr account. Check out pix of all the fun stuff we make - comics, toys, interns. It's also name-dropper central with pix of events with Kevin Spacey, Milo Ventimiglia, Larry Hama, and even the great Jose Garibaldi.
You may or may not have heard, but our Horror-Action-Comedy comic book Hack/Slash was nominated for Best Comic by Spike TV. To get on the show we needed to receive enough votes to make the top 4 cut - and WE DID!
The awards are being filmed in LA this Saturday but the voting hasn't stopped yet!
This couldn't come at a better time as we are receiving the latest script draft for the film soon and there is other movement on the film front. Now we are about to get the biggest mainstream exposure for Hack/Slash than we ever have before. With the rising sales and momentum for the title, this is the kind of thing that can push us to the next level.
Thanks to everyone who has been helping to vote. Now that we actually made the cut, we need to continue the process. We just might actually win this thing! Please notify two people you know who you believe will be passionate enough about this to vote.
It's been a long damn time since my last blog, but this can't wait. I'm thrilled to announce that HACK/SLASH has been nominated for the Best Comic category for the Spike TV Scream Awards.
