I went to the zoo on Saturday...and saw a snake eat a bunny!
Current mood: crushed
Category: Pets and Animals
So Amy and I went to the Nashville Zoo with some friends last Saturday. It was a beautiful day...nice relaxing Saturday after GMA. Well, I saw the most amazing thing I might have ever seen. A GIANT anaconda. It was feeding time...there was a nice little guinea pig and a nice little bunny in the cage for the cute little snake. I wondered if the snake would actually eat the "food" with a bunch of people watching and sure enough, it did. No worries though...the bunny was already dead and most likely didn't suffer. Enjoy the video!
My wife ate a cat treat...for cash!
Current mood: nauseated
She's a "special" kind of lady. We were bored and Amy wanted some more Christmas money. So, my sister offered her $5 to eat a chewy Tuna cat treat. She did. I recorded it. You'll laugh.
A survey...my High School graduation year
Current mood: enthralled
1. Who was your best friend? Tim Gus/Amy Swan
2. What sports did you play? Basketball

8. Ever smoke? Yup
9. Were you a nerd? I was pretty cool and hot and awesome.

I could un-tuck my shirt, wear shirts with words on them, grow a beard, grow my hair long, get earings, get tattoos, make out with Amy, wear a hat in a building, dye my hair, etc. and not feel like I'm going to get expelled for it!

Future of Forestry

Future of Forestry
Release date: 15 August, 2006
What? Moving to the South? Yup. I just got a new job in Nashville, TN. I'll be working at EMI-CMG which is one of the coolest Christian record label groups ever. I'll be working in the promotions department with the main job being getting artists songs played on the air. It'll be an absolute blast! I can't wait to get started.
So, here's the deal. I'll be working at the Fish until July 26 and then heading down to Nashville. Amy will be staying here until September 1 and then joining me and our cat, Phoebe.
The coolest thing about all of this is that it's a HUGE test of our faith. God's been teaching us a TON about trusting Him. There will be another blog about this soon (it's a long one that I'll post once I'm settled in).
Please pray for us. Pray that the transition is smooth, that Amy can get a new job quickly once she's down there, that we find someone to rent our apartment (we're in the lease 'til May...if interested, holla) and that most importantly, God is glorified in all that happens through this.
