12:36 - About the wedding yesterday...
Category: Life
As it turns out, the wedding ceremony actually wasn't an hour & a half (thankfully because yesterday the weather was so hot & it wasn't much better in the church). Anywho, although I'm an Atheist, I gotta admit the church was really nice & my cousin and the best man and ushers wore kilts (yes it was a scottish wedding). However when they exchanged vows, they didn't use a microphone, why, I don't know.
As for the reception, well, let's just say I totally forgot all about the olympics.

16:38 - I think I have an addiction...
Category: Life
To the Olympics. Why you ask? Because, normally I hardly ever watch tv, however over the past 12 days I've been watching the olympics first thing in the morning until I go to bed (except between 12:00 and 18:00, because beijing is 12 hrs ahead of where I live). Anyways, my cousin's wedding is this Saturday & for the past couple of days, all I could thik about was the fact that rthymic gymnastics is on at the same time the reception is. (the reception starts at 6 PM & rthymic gymnastics is on sometime between 6 PM & 12 AM). So would it be rude of me to leave the reception to watch rthymic gymnastics?

15:02 - You can’t have it both ways...
Category: Sports
Here in Canada, our athletes receive very little funding. Yet when the olympics roll around, we canucks are disppointed that our athletes still haven't won any medals so far in Beijing. So, if there are any fellow canucks reading this, if you haven't donated a dollar to help our athletes if you have shopped at the bay or zellers, why be so shocked & disapointed that our athletes still haven't won any medals?
UPDATE: Canada now has won 3 medals, one of each. Which means that all the bitching moaning & complaining about our athletes not winning medals is finally over.

15:20 - I need some advice.........
Category: Life
I'm an Atheist, so is my cousin & he'll be getting married in little less than 2 weeks, in a church (Catholic church, btw) as such there's going to prayers or whatever Catholics do. So anyhow, seeing as I'm an Atheist, should I pray along with everyone else or is there something else I could do while everyone else is praying?

Current mood: read the blog to find out my mood.
Category: read the blog to find out my mood. News and Politics
But I sure am fucking pissed. About what you ask? Anti Semitism on she who shall not be named's blog. And it wasn't just the blog, a lot of people who commented on the blog were basically holding contradictory views by saying that Israel has the right to exist while at the same time, blaming Israel for the violence between Israel & so called Paestine". In case you're wondering why I said so called Palestine instead of just saying Palestine, it's simple. There is no such country called Palestine nor was there ever. Don't believe me? Look at an Atlas, globe or world map & you'll notice there's no country called Palestine.

16:32 - Liberalism is a religion.
Category: News and Politics
A little while ago I said I woud blog about how Liberalism is a religion. So, here's the blog.
1. Religion doesn't allow for dissenting views. If you express disagreement with any aspect of any religon, you're excommunicated or what not. Liberals, although they say they like hearing points of view, they actually don't. I experienced this myself back in June.
2. Every Religion has a holy book, as does Liberalism, although I suppose you could say there's two holy books in Liberalism, An inconvient truth & the communist manifesto.
3. Both Religion & Liberalism can't stand any form of entertainment that criticizes their beliefs. Ie, a few years ago Christians, Catholic & protestant alike, were all up in arms over the Harry Potter series & the Da Vinci Code, both the books & movies of HP & DVC.
4. Every Religion says its the right one & all others are false, Liberals like to believe they're always right.
5. Every religion has Prophets, as does Liberalism.
There are other examples of how Liberalism is a religion, however I've been swimming today & I'm friggin' tired & can't think of any more.

09:05 - Ban handguns? Over my fucking dead body!
Current mood: scared
Category: News and Politics
I read in the paper today, what has got to be THE scariest thing I have ever read. What I read was that there's 60 thousand signatures on a petition to ban handguns. And what's even worse is that the petition will be delivered to the Prime Minister's Office for consideration.
This is fucking scary, because if the Federal government approves the handgun ban, it won't be long before law abiding citizens are disarmed of their handguns, which makes it a lot easier for the government to kill law abiding citizens. All the while criminals would still have access to guns.

16:52 - Since when was abortion a religion?
Category: Religion and Philosophy
Last night on Facebook, I took a look at the names of groups recently joined by my friends. And I noticed that one group is called "Canadians against abortionism". Yeah I know most of you are pro-life, but still, "abortionism"? Shouldn't it be called Canadians against abortions? 'Cause I find that the "ism" kinda implies a religion. And yet we have a lower abortion rate here in Canada than you guys do south of the 49th. So it's not like Canadian women have abortions religiously.
I don't know if it just happend to be a typo by the creator of the group or what.

16:05 - Enough about Omar Khadr!!!!!!!!!!
Category: News and Politics
I am sick & tired about reading about Omar Khadr every single day. In case you're wondering, Omar Khadr is a twenty one year old who killed a U.S. medic when he was fifteen, back in 2002. And the bleeding hearts want the federal government to bring him back to Canada. To which I say, too fucking bad, he killed a U.S. medic so he should be tried in the U.S. And if, as a result, he's sentenced to life to prison, good he deserves jail time not anyone's sympathy!

First off, I hope photobucket is working this. I tried posting this same blog last month & no picture came up. Second, if you don't know who Stephane Dion is, he's the Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada.
Damnit! I tried and Photobucket isn't working this time either.

16:44 - It’s too late...
Current mood: fed up w/the impeach bush folks
Category: fed up w/the impeach bush folks News and Politics
To impeach Bush. As I was browsing the top N&P blogs I came across a blog by she who shall not be named. Basically she who shall not be named believes that Bush should be impeached for violations of the U.S. constitution, even though it's waaaaaaaaaaaaay too late for impeachment now. Seriously there aren't even 200 days left in Bush's presidency (180 days, to be precise) whereas an impeachment, (although I don't really know much about the impeachment process due to the fact that I live in Canada & we don't have the ability to impeach our PM), I do know that it takes longer than 180 days to impeach a president, therefore impeaching Bush completely pointless!
