Day 24 ...ummm what to do?

At this moment in time there is not a whole heap of spending going on (sounds like a dodgy 70' song lyric) My first reason was time and the fact that i wasn't getting around to writing let alone cashing my cheque. But today I have and with over £70k sat in my accout I pondered about the amount of money and what the heck do I want to spend it on.

Actually at this moment in time not a massive amount. I have bought 10 tickets for UPW and accomadation and will offer them to friends and family. I got talking to a wonderful friend of mine yesterday about it and well, I really want to go again now so.. have been looking at the ticket availability and well got them!

The other big thing that I want this year is to take the family away on a big holiday, something other than camping. Don;t get me wrong I love camping but it will be great for us to stay in a nice hotel and be looked after for a change! So we are all off to Turkey for an activities holiday, which I do have to say looks amazing!

That still leaves me with over £63k left and this is where I have got stuck, I have bought mostt hings that I want to buy and done loads of travelling which will be where a large chunk of my moeny goes as I lover travelling. So want do I want? What do I really want?....

For me it's a house. A new (to me) big house with 5/6 bedrooms, space for an office and consulting room. A lovely garden and space for the children to play. A luxurious bedroom and en sute for me and me hubbie. A kitchen big enough to have a table in and eat at comfortably. A good sized dining room and living room. and plenty of light. i want it to have a drive and be set back a bit from the road. Bathroom/shower room/wet room and extra loo downstairs (simple things)

I would also love, if we're going for detail, a large window either at the top of the stairs of somewhere in the hall that sheds tonnes of lights. The garden is easily managable and in the sun all day! It has a fabulous area to sit out n the evening that still gets the sun. The house look fabulous from the front and is double fronted.

Oh got a bit carried away with me details there, i could go on but hey. I've already written it out in full in my vision book.

Oh just remember me charity money...Today I am giving £7,229.14 to St. Leonards hospice York a local cahrity tht I know helps many!

back to the house. Well I have decided that seen as this is something that I really want and am prepared to 'work/wait' for (but nt too long) then the last few day as going to be saving to buy or at least put a huge chunk towards. Saving for the next few days, less the 10% charity will give me  fabulous £200k ish to put towards this dream house. I am sure that my hubbie would like to be part of it, but actually if nit then, I will just continue this process for another 5 days and I will have £165k and so on and so on.

I'm really excited about looking for my new home and infact am going to cycle around the area wher I am buying it now. See you later, I would say have a happy Easter but I don;t really do easter. Well if you do celebrate it for more than the chocolate fest it has become, then enjoy!

Day 20 & 21 - been a strange one
Current mood: thoughtful

Ummm...most definitely been a strange one. Not in the ways thatit has been before up til now swith stuff magically appearing but it's like the true spring feeling that stuff is a bubbling under the surface and so ready to pop that. And that feeling has carried through with the wasy I have spent money too, I didn't have time yesterday so that menat I had a fabulous £77,210.41 for todays spending - I had also saved from a few day ago!

So 10% straight away went off to charity - Save the Children  and then well, I bought a place in Eygpt, as you do, a huge splurge on the Apple has left me with all kinds of great gadgets for the office and home and then two wonderful dreamy things have been purchased....a week in the maldives at an amazing resort where you can eat up the sea, be massaged looking over the sea and have your own private beach hideaway! (i'm havig some of that thank you very much!) And after the week that I have had I really do deserve it, actually I deserve with or without the week that I have had! The finally luxury is my wonderful PA. Yes I have finally taken the business up another level and hired an amazing PA that is inspiring, challenging, organised and generally wonderful How very marvelous!

That makes me feel great I do have to say, and all of that still leaves me with just over £3k to spend. This is great.

I wonder what the next few days will bring...who knows?

Have a truly wonderful day

Day 19 - full of thoughts
Current mood: confused

When I wake up (no I'm not going into the proclaimers song) It isn't long before I think about the money that I have today and ponder what I am going to do with it. I have got a list of things that I want to do and buy but with this amount of money coming in now it's easy to clear that list quite quickly so I have become very thought full about what I would like to spend the money on.

As i was out all of yesterday I didn't get the opportunity to spend any so todays cheque was a lovely £37,000! Nice. Added to the left overs from last week I have a total of £39,122.41 to spend.

My first port of call is a charity and today has been the turn of the NSPCC - national society for the protection of cruelty against children. I admire the work that they do and to be honest anyone who is helping children is high on my list! So they were the recepients of £3,912 today. I like this bit. As I have said before this is something that I have put into my life, giving 10% of what I earn to charity and it's such a joyous feeling! Try it! There's more to it that just giving although that is a huge part.

So that left me with £35,210.41. Ummmm....what's a girl to do.

I spent loads of money on travel last time and I suspect that as the money escalates that is were it will be going. I want to buy a new home in York for us all but £35k will not buy you much anywhere in this country so I have decided to start looking abroad and round the coast here to. There are some that I have seen in Italy that I can get for around £50 and seen as my money heads into the 20k's tomorrow, I am going to save the rest from today and the next couple of days and then buy us a property somewhere lovely. Maybe on the coast here or somewhere warmer.

So not much spending happeing today I am afraid changing tack and having a day or two of saving until I find the right property for us, if you see or hear fo anythiing please do let me know!

Have a magical day

day 17 - the secret deliveries
Current mood: peaceful

Whn I started out on this I hadn't realised juat how hard and yet how much fun this would be.

The spending is quite hard as I have to really think about what I want each day as I don't want to just spend it on stuff! So here's todays list

10% straight off to charity - today Learning for life take a look and donate!

LCD projector for home and work use - came with a free screen so I'm a happy bunny!

Then visited a fabulous site the owner of which I have met many times and always wanted to purchase more than the odd bit here and there, so I had fun today and am now well and truly silver fairied up!

Then the travel bug hit...so a full family trip to lapland has been booked, my mum has always wanted to go there and I so want to see the northern lights, so we're off! Then it was a trip for four os us to go to Germany, mainly to see the neuschwanstein castle, but I want to practice the german that I haven't spoken for years and both of the kids are learning it so it will be fun. I love germany it's a beautiful country and finally Simon and I head off for a romantic four days in Rome over my birthday. Again it's somewhere that I have always wanted to go and have also never really majorly celebrated my birthday and well i deserve it!

believe it or not, that has still let me with over 2k to spend and that was with booking first class everything! So that will roll over to tomorrow. I suspect that I will be buying loads of trips and holidays now as I am looking more to buy experiences rather than things!

So will todays spending over what has happened. Well, it's a strange thing but oh so true. I have been buying for real som eof the items that I virtually bought a few days ago as I seem to have the money now. It's so odd but things are falling into my lap money wise and clients come to me frequently and easily. It so is about changing you attitude from 'Ican't afford that' to 'How can I' or even 'I can afford that' the thing is once you have that attidue you vibrations change and you magnatise wonderful goodies in your direction. It doesn't mean that everything comes to you for free, although I suppose it could if you wanted it too, but I like the fact that some of it has arrived as gifts - i.e. the prizes that I keep winning and the offers of free teaching and the other bits I buy quite happily now as money flows to me frequently and easily!

Go on have some fun and play. If you are still not sure then just take a moment and think about your views on money, are you happy or would you like more. This game gives you the opportunity to play and enjoy without immediately spending your money but feeling like you do. For those of you already playing, what have you bought, looking for ideas!

Have a magical fun and enlightened day

days 14 - 16 this is great fun and very strange!
Current mood: jubilant

Things are really starting to happen in strange ways now. The pennies have been appearing for ages and are coming in thick and fast and aren't always just pennies, I keep finding 2's, 5's, 20's - well anything now. Notes are welcome too!!!

It has been a while since I have been able to spend my money and so today I had three days to spend which has totalled £45k! WooHoo! o barriers there other than knowing what to spend it on and even that is soming easily now.

2 year Membership for a buisness network group

Years wages of a cleaner (oh the luxury!)

Practioner and master courses in NLP

Dishwasher

Affliate membership for a year of VW Direct

Family weekend in the big city of London - shows and gig etc

A sailing trip for me and my brother! Tall ship - crossing the atlantic! (scares the living crap out of me but I'm always up for a fun challenge)

And that left me with £14,479

Wow money is so much fun to spend.

I have deciced that I am going to give 10% of the daily takings to charity as this is what I do in real life anyway. 10% of everything I earn goes to charity so I am doing it with this process too. Todays charity - Help the Aged - now idea why but they came into my head so they are now £4,500 richer. Enjoy!

As I mentioned though strange things are starting to happen. I won a prize in a raffle the other day and semm to be winning prizes all over the place these days - if I don't want the prize I either give it to a friend or charity. This one, loads of natural beauty products, I am keeping. I also got talking to a an NLP guy the other night who had heard me speak briefly and wants to work with me...for FREE!! (well he would like a credit in my book - I can do that!) It's all going swimmingly. I am very grateful for all of the wonderful gifts that are flowing into my life, especially the extra money and lovely food!

I have spoken to a few people over the last few weeks about this process and they have looked at me strangely but when questioned they really didn;t knwo what they would spend the money on and that's the point, until you really start to focus your mind on what you want how will you know what it is?

On that ponderous note I must dash, but think about it, even if you do not want to play this game and have tonnes of fun, which is totally your choice, just take a moment now and think about what it is that you really want. And if your not sure have a look at this!

Create magic today and play!!!

day 13 - Wow that's cheap
Current mood: thoughtful

Obviously one of the main reasons to go throughthis process was to change the dialogue in my head that stated 'oh that's expensive' or 'I can't afford that.' and I am shocked at how quickly it has changed. Today's spending has been quite small reallybut I am so surprised at my view on the costs of things.

I have bought us a new huge king size bed and bedding, all for the cheap price of £1600. No if you had said to me a few days ago that that is how much costs 'How much!' would have echoed through the building, closely followed by a sharp suck in on the teeth. but now it's more like, 'wow that's cheap!' In fact when I 'booked' the hot air balloon flights for us all I was surprised to hear myself say, oh for that price we may as well all go!!!

So balloon's and bed purchased I still had over £12k to spend. It's relly hard actually as I have to really think about what I want and I have never really thought that big. So A splurge on some really gorgeous underwear was in line and then I felt the urge to donate. I love giving to charity now, before it use dto feel a bit like an obligation but now it's fun. I have a wonderful friend who is teaching teachers a new way of teaching (not very eliquently put but hey) www.teachingfreedom.com go have a look and if you too feel the urge, donate and help make a difference to this way of teaching. I have been lucky to share in this and it's great fun.

So the money today has been easily doled out, just not sure about tomorrows...what do I want so that I can spend £14,000? What would you spend it on?

The house is sorted now and I would like to buy a new one, but that's more that £14,000....ummm, got me thinking though, what about properties abroad??? I feel like web search coming on!

have a day full of brilliance and joy!

days 9 -12 part two
Current mood: satisfied

Well, that seemed to work ok so here goes.

It's a strange one now as we are heading into lrage sums and I don;t think that I have ever really thought about spending such huge sums of money. We all say that we want money but would we really know whatto do with it when it comes? I suppose that is a bit part of pplaying this game really getting you into the right frame of mind and attitude towards money.

I have had a very busy couple of days and I therefore was unable to soend any money saturday or sunday so come this morning I have bank rolled the cheques together and had £33,000 to spend! Now that sounds great but again I have had to sit for quite some time and really think about how and what I was going to spend it all on.

Well the trip to australia has been upgraded to first class, I love the fact that when I walk onto the plane now I only ever turn left!!! It's great and my god there is so much leg room and beds, they actually do have beds and I...I really feels like I am there and that feels so brilliant and wonderful and .....WOW!!!!! I have also booked us four nights in the penthouse suite at the harbour rocks hotel, the views are amazing!

I then had the urge about gettig and staying fit and have bought a family gym membership and a fitness trainer for Simon and I. My fitness trainer really pushes me and my figure is the perfert figure for me. I love it! (God this feel so good I eally can't recommend it enough!)

Being so fit I have taken myself on a diving course in the Red Sea, this kinda scares me a bit as I have huge respect for the sea...fear too if I'm honets but I am working on that one so the diving course is a real break  through of feel the fear and do it anyway!

I then had £6,908.00 left, oh woe is me what to so end it on?? Having recently spoken to a client about celebration and their lack of it I have decided to throw me a party to celebrate my amazingness. I have worled so hard on so many levels over the last few years and changed my life for the better. Even my hubbie noted last night how calm and relaxed I was when a stand up comedian picked on me! (Bastard I hunt him down and ...no only kidding it was fun!) So a HUGE party is to be thrown in my honour. the rule is thateveryone who comes has to celebrate something that they have achieved in the last year. I am gonna have a corner where you can blow your own trumpet - literally hundreds of trumpets and a wall of fame for people to really go for it and celebrate who we ae and what we do each and every day - we just don't do enough of it!

I have decided to save the rest - £1908 for tomorrow and also to save time I am now writing a list of things to spend my money on. Send me you ideas too. What would you spend your cash on, I will be getting £13,000 tomorrow what would you do if you had that to spend?

Enjoy your day - every minute of it!

Day 8 - I'm loving it, loving it, loving it!
Current mood: grateful

Definitely no bariers at the moment! i'm lovingthis spending malarky! Some ofthe items I have bought today have had to have the prices guessed a wee bit as you have to go through the whole ordering process and hand over details to find out the price so I think I have been a little generous, but hey what do I care I have just spend a week with my best friend at one of the UK's top spa being pampered, have com ehome and been pampered here too as at local spa having my hair done (which I very rarely do)

I am so very happy and grateful that I now have a gorgeous new wardrobe to put all of the wonderful new clothes that I have bought (I must say shopping for clothes has never been as much fun as this, it became more fun when I lost weight and now love my body! Whatever your shape though, and I am no Julia Roberts love it! You deserve it!)

Oh what else have I done oh, yes booked a wonderful adventure holiday for myself and the family. The boys will love this, kayaking, mountain biking etc

This has to be the best way to start any day as it really puts you on a high.

I am loving the fact that it makes you really focus on what you want in life and ok it's material stuff and I know that it's stuff but it's stuff that I like. The stuff doesn't make me I am already me and a great and wonderful me, this is all the added bonus I feel.

So no barrier to contend with and I have a sneaking feeling that something large is headig my way, not sure what but a wonderful suprise is most definitely round the corner. I am not even going to speculate as that is not my job - the how's are the domain of the universe! I am quite happy asking, believing and receiving. I have placed my orders and am just waiting for the postman now!

have a brilliant day, look for everything amazing in it and I bet you can find loads more than you first thought, but you have to look and want to find!

Day 7 - through the barrier and onwards!
Current mood: thankful

Most of us think that we want money and lots of it and of what fun we will have spending it. Well for those of you that do think that I urge you to play this game.

The first few days were so easy to spend and it was great fun, but I can honestly say yesterday I hit a barrier, my first I suspect. I heard an online broadcast recently to do with the money limits that we set ourselves and how to use EFT (emotional freedom techniques) to break through them. Well, yesterday was a strange day by the end of it and as I came to write my cheque out this morning I realised that I was hitting one of those barriers.

These barriers can happen at any time and different people react in different ways, but your reaction tends to be based on your belief about money and that will most probably come from your childhood.

Fo me this is definitely true. 'Money's a struggle and doesn't grow on trees' 'What do you think I am, made of money?' these were the kind of phrases used in our house. So they were there in mind head as a little soundtrack reminding me of the 'rules' of money. Today I have broken through these using EFT - which was my erly morning routine today -  as I NOW believe that money flows to me easily and frequently and therefore I can spend it easily as then the flow will continue towards others and myself.

EFT is great for breaking through any barriers very quickly and I love watching it's affect on my clients. You can read more about it and even teach yourself the basics on www.emofree.com

So now the dams have burst and money is rushing towards me in torrents (oh actually as I write that more old money beliefs have come up - EFT to the rescue....)

4 minutes later.....

Oh thats better, ok where was I oh yes money flowing to me frequently and easily, oh that's put a smile on my face this time!

So today's spending was a real spree. I have £7,000 to soend and instead of looking for one big thing to buy I have gone for loads of stuff, including giving some to charity;

1.    2 & 3 seater leather sofas - very nice from sofa.com (great website as you get to create your own sofa and the testimonials look great too) - £2500

2.     Cushions and rug for the new looking lounge to match the sofas £380

3.      A rather gorgeous Silver Smeg fridge freezer which I managed to at sale price £1044

4.       Finally my bit for charity. I have for the pst five years now done charity treks with scope. And they are BRILLIANT. I would love to do one every year. Not only do you get to visit amazing countries usually staying in the most remote and stunning settings but you meet such wonderful people on the trek and the biggest bonus of all is that you are helping a great charity at the same time!So I have booked to go trekking in Iceland. Never though about Iceland before but I had just the right amount of money left to do this one and so ....why not!

So I have really pushed through barriers today and I wonder where more will pop up as the money rises each day as it will soon be in double figures!

Please do send ideas of what to spend the money on as I must say that is a big challenge too as I have never thought this big...well that the aim of the game isn't it! To getyour mind thinking bigger ready for all the money that is flowing towards you. That's it! I am in the money gym each morning! Great I like it!

Thanks for the emails keep them coming!

have a happy fruitful and prosperous day
