Groovesetters on FPR

I like to thank each and everyone for supporting Groovesetters on FPR. At this time I like to let all of my listeners know that my show will not be airing on Funky People Radio FPR anymore.

I am in the process of traveling and moving onto bigger and better things in my life. However, for those of you out there who enjoyed a great groove. You will still be able to down load my shows from SSR.

I will most likely pick up where I left off at in August and do a single two hour show which you can down load from SSR website or visit Itunes for future podcast.

I like to thank Tee Alford and the FPR family for allowing me to air my show the past year. My best wishes go out to FPR....

RIP Frank!!!

It is with enormous sadness that I tell you that our friend and colleague, Frank Keenan, died suddenly late Friday/early Saturday of cardiac arrest.

Frank has been an integral part of our Sales team, and of GlobalFit. He was quick to make people laugh, and always smiling. His loss will be felt deeply.

We all will continue to push ahead, but not without feeling the absence of our wonderful companion who accompanied us to this point.

I am waiting to learn of the funeral arrangements and will share that information once I have it.

A sad Day for us at MHYH RIP Erick Anderson

This afternoon I received a message from a close friend of Erick's in Norway saying that in the early hours of Sunday 17th February, Erick decided to take his own life.

This comes as an extreme shock especially as I'd spoken to Erick on the Saturday night and he seemed to be in high spirits. It is with great sadness that I bring you this news; a sadness that I know will be shared by everyone who plays any role either as broadcaster or listener on the myhouse-yourhouse network that he helped establish.

My heart goes out to his parents and girlfriend, Malin. There was no note or letter or explaination otherwise for his decision to end his life and I doubt we will ever know.

Goodbye Erick. Thanks for everything. Without you we'd never have set up Myhouse-Yourhouse together and brought together such a truly fantastic group of people who shared our love of good music. If there's a set of decks in the sky, I know you'll tear the place up.

Rest in peace, friend.
