Album release update

Well there is both good and bad news I'm afraid. Unfortunatly due to the way JAW are recording their new album it is dependant on when the studio is free and recently this hasn't been the case. Therefore the release of their new album has been put off until the summer.

However the band are going to release an E.P. to bridge the gap and the good news is that it will be free of charge. Please stay tuned as we will be shortly taking a mailing list for this E.P.

We need a synth/keyboard player!

As the title says:)

We are looking for someone into loads of styles of music, likes experimenting and who is commited (somebody that can also drive, sing, multi task and play guitar would be great!)

If anybody's interested and can practise in london,  give us a shout!

Island Records put JAW... in the studio

Hey everyone, we recently finished a demo for Island at The Dairy studios, Brixton and I have just uploaded it for your listening pleasure.
Call To Arms, Typical and Conscience are all new recordings; I know we recorded typical and conscience before but we think these are better versions.
Thanks to Roy Merchant for producing the tunes and putting up with us for a week and to Island for giving us the studio time!

Have a listen and let us know what you think!
Cheers
JAW

New Tune

We've been offline now for a while but got connected today so thought we'd give you a taster of the new stuff. Typical's one of a bunch of new songs we have, this is only a home demo recording and hasn't been mastered but you should get the idea, just turn it up real loud:)
We're in the studio in may to record a few new tunes, so watch this space.

Things have been trucking on rightly over here in the big smoke, but with the absence of dean we haven't got playing yet, but he's over this week so from may on we'll be giggin like fook!

JAW... Relocate to London in Feb

Yep after nearly 2 years of pushing the band in Ireland we feel we have done all we can here and our only sensible move now is to go where the action is, so we've decided London (Also our management and booking agents are there so that makes sense:)

Thanks to everyone that has supported us here over the last couple of years through thick and thin; it has been much appreciated! We will be back to try and get 'industry people' to take notice of the great music scene in Ireland when we make a name for ourselves across the water.

We're doing four farewell gigs in Ireland before we leave, Dublin, Belfast, Armagh and Portadown (portadown date yet to be confirmed). Support for most of them is from Mike Got Spiked, a band that we've built a great relationship with over the last couple of years and who you should all check out! (www.mikegotspiked.com) Other support acts have still to be confirmed.

So hopefully as many of you can make it to these gigs as possible as it might be a while before you see us again, and if you haven't seen us live and are wondering what the fuss is about, now is the time to check us out!
Check gig listings for details.

Cheers,
JAW...
