This is a great true story, and it really reflects what some people forget about today.

 This is a great lesson and so well presented -
             
Back in September of 2005, on the first day of school, Martha Cothren,
a
social studies school teacher at Robinson High School in Little Rock,
did something not to be forgotten.

On the first day of school, with the permission of the school
superintendent, the principal and the building supervisor, she removed
all of the desks out of her classroom. When the first period kids
entered
the room they discovered that there were no desks.

Looking around, confused, they asked, 'Ms. Cothren, where're our
desks?'

She replied, 'You can't have a desk until you tell me what you have
done
to earn the right to sit at a desk.'

They thought, 'Well, maybe it's our grades.'

'No,' she said.

Maybe it's our behavior.' She told them, 'No, it's not even your
behavior.

And so, they came and went, the first period, second period, third
period.  Still no desks in the classroom.

By early afternoon television news crews had started gathering in Ms.
Cothren's classroom to report about this crazy teacher who had taken
all
the desks out of her room.

The final period of the day came and as the puzzled students found
seats
on the floor of the deskless classroom.

Martha Cothren said, 'Throughout the day no one has been able to tell
me
just what he/she has done to earn the right to sit at the desks that
are
ordinarily found in this classroom. Now I am going to tell you.'

At this point, Martha Cothren went over to the door of her classroom
and
opened it.

Twenty-seven (27) U.S. Veterans, all in uniforms, walked into that
classroom, each one carrying a school desk. The Vets began placing the
school desks in rows, and then they would walk over and stand alongside
the wall.

By the time the last soldier had set the final desk in place those kids
started to understand, perhaps for the first time in their lives, just
how the right to sit at those desks had been earned.

Martha said, 'You didn't earn the right to sit at these desks. These
heroes did it for you. They placed the desks here for you. Now, it's up
to you to sit in them. It is your responsibility to learn, to be good
students, to be good citizens. They paid the price so that you could
have the freedom to get an education. Don't ever forget it.'

That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today,
who no longer understand that fact.

big news in my world!

Big news! Guess what? I'm gonna be a 'grandma' for the third time!

 Yeup! Thats right! I look damn fine for a grandma! No, seriously, one of my girls is having another baby! So I got the grandma call the other day! I started going through stuff. I have to send baby blankets and all that stuff. It sucks she's so far away now, but I am very happy for all my girls! I miss everyone of them, and the pride they give me is immense. I have so many pictures up on my fridge I had to reorganise them to make room! In just a few months, I am going to be welcoming antother nephew and another grandbaby! My cup overflowith!

’Last Nights Phone Call’, or ’It only took me a week’

    I SO kenned this was going to happen man...But you know me. I always help my friends do whatever to help them achive happiness. And in a way I'm real happy for her, but I knew she was going to get out there and never want to come back.     

     I guess it comes down to losing a good friend that you have a deep conection with. Plus she's the only chick that will hang out ALL NIGHT with me. I LOVE going dancing with her. So the band could be crap, but you know I'm gonna be having fun, out on the floor.

    So if you haven't heard, I called her last night. She said she was going to phone in when she arrived (last saturday), and I hadn't heard for what, about a week. Eventually I dialed (my fingers arn't broken, and I AM NOT HER PARENT! THATS WHY IT TOOK ME A WEEK AND I WILL DEFEND THAT STATEMENT!). When she answered I asked Her

 "So, ARE you comming back?"

Tess: "Just to get my stuff."

    Now all I can think is the HOURS of back breaking cold, numb to the bone Mid-January move where I was the last person standing just a few months ago. So what the hell is she gonna do with that packed storage bin? And whats the temp going to be like now? 'Cause I'm sure I will again be featured in this hell like senario (just bitchin folks, you know me, always helpin' your asses out). So yeah, I bet scrawny me and that poor kid she had helping are going to have to go get all that stuff out in killer heat, and the worst humidity we've had all summer.

  Plus, people are leaving this place like rats run from water. WTF? Forgive my state of shock. I'm losing one of the coolest dancing partners I've had in a while. I mean, she and I are the life of any party..

The Guidestones

The origin of that strange monument is shrouded in mystery because no one knows the true identity of the man, or men, who commissioned its construction. All that is known for certain is that in June 1979, a well-dressed, articulate stranger visited the office of the Elberton Granite Finishing Company and announced that he wanted to build an edifice to transmit a message to mankind. He identified himself as R. C. Christian, but it soon became apparent that was not his real name. He said that he represented a group of men who wanted to offer direction to humanity, but to date, almost two decades later, no one knows who R. C. Christian really was, or the names of those he represented. Several things are apparent. The messages engraved on the Georgia Guidestones deal with four major fields: (1) Governance and the establishment of a world government, (2) Population and reproduction control, (3) The environment and man's relationship to nature, and (4) Spirituality.

In the public library in Elberton, I found a book written by the man who called himself R.C. Christian. I discovered that the monument he commissioned had been erected in recognition of Thomas Paine and the occult philosophy he espoused. Indeed, the Georgia Guidestones are used for occult ceremonies and mystic celebrations to this very day. Tragically, only one religious leader in the area had the courage to speak out against the American Stonehenge, and he has recently relocated his ministry.

THE MESSAGE OF THE GEORGIA GUIDESTONES

1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
2. Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity.
3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
4. Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason.
5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
9. Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite.
10.Be not a cancer on the earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature.

Limiting the population of the earth to 500 million will require the extermination of nine-tenths of the world's people. The American Stonehenge's reference to establishing a world court foreshadows the current move to create an International Criminal Court and a world government. The Guidestones' emphasis on preserving nature anticipates the environmental movement of the 1990s, and the reference to "seeking harmony with the infinite" reflects the current effort to replace Judeo-Christian beliefs with a new spirituality.

The message of the American Stonehenge also foreshadowed the current drive for Sustainable Development. Any time you hear the phrase "Sustainable Development" used, you should substitute the term "socialism" to be able to understand what is intended. Later in this syllabus you will read the full text of the Earth Charter which was compiled under the direction of Mikhail Gorbachev and Maurice Strong. In that document you will find an emphasis on the same basic issues: control of reproduction, world governance, the importance of nature and the environment, and a new spirituality. The similarity between the ideas engraved on the Georgia Guidestones and those espoused in the Earth Charter reflect the common origins of both.

Yoko Ono, the widow of John Lennon, was recently quoted as referring to the American Stonehenge, saying:

"I want people to know about the stones ... We're headed toward a world where we might blow ourselves up and maybe the globe will not exist ... it's a nice time to reaffirm ourselves, knowing all the beautiful things that are in this country and the Georgia Stones symbolize that. " (1)

What is the true significance of the American Stonehenge, and why is its covert message important? Because it confirms the fact that there was a covert group intent on

(1) Dramatically reducing the population of the world.
(2) Promoting environmentalism.
(3) Establishing a world government.
(4) Promoting a new spirituality.

Certainly the group that commissioned the Georgia Guidestones is one of many similar groups working together toward a New World Order, a new world economic system, and a new world spirituality. Behind those groups, however, are dark spiritual forces. Without understanding the nature of those dark forces it is impossible to understand the unfolding of world events.

The fact that most Americans have never heard of the Georgia Guidestones or their message to humanity reflects the degree of control that exists today over what the American people think. We ignore that message at our peril.

Okay, I know I've been lax on the blogs. I'm sorry. Just deal. There are so many requests now, I'm going to have trouble keeping up. There is a working order of blogs soon to be written, but right now I have no idea what it is.

Some of you have been interested in the ongoing "drama" of a friend of mine who  has been going through for all pretenses, a divorce (with a jerk who like to harrass and can kick my ass all over the schoolyard, was my sensi in some ways...Yeah ). This last weeks court case was for small claims over a car and of all frikin' things some fabric. Can you imagine a guy taking a woman who sews for her livleyhood to small claims over fabric? It was so messed up, it was almost comical. He was claiming for $500 for the fabric and almost twice the blue book price of the car.

     Thanks to my own divorce, and my ex, I was able to give her better advice this time around and SHE WON! HAHA!I think (just between you and me, it might have been because of those buzz words she was told to say, but it was all her because she SAID THEM this time!) There is nothing worse than wanting to act as your friends laywer ( I mean, I had to keep myself from jumping the rail and interjecting, at both court dates. I kept trying to WILL her to say what we practised, and she sat there like she was confused at times...Its just real frustrating to watch)...and this poor woman is not good at any of the legal stuff.

     So today was a day of minor victory. Even the little stuff might put the heart back into her though, and thats needed. Anyone whos been through divorce  (or similar), knows for a time, you feel listless after. Getting your backbone to regrow takes some time. If you get run over by your ex in EVERY skirmish, it simply adds to the pain of feeling worthless. So hot pink snake skin pants were bought in celebration, and I guess we are heading to a major drum circle this weekend....

Its time to get your groove on, St. Patties day is so close I can taste it. Some of you missed the wild bar hopping and smashing after parties last night. Mores the pity for you. Me, I got multiple digits, multiple roses, and had an awsome night (I didn't get home 'till noon today. What time did you get home?) So Happy Hangover Day to everyone!

Tornados! In Enterprise!

I heard from my family in Enterprise..('BAMA). All is well. At one point the twister picked up (JUST BEFORE HITTING THEIR HOUSE!!) and then touched back down ON the highschool, (on the aditorium, where the kids were taking shelter, killing 15). Many houses are without power, but the neighboors are taking my brother, sister and the baby in, untill the rents get there with extra generators and supplies (the were on the road when it hit). Thank you everyone who was concerned.
