Aren't pin-up girls great? I would have loved to have been a pin-up girl. There was a time...it was 2pm on a Tuesday, yeah I could have done it. This reminds me of that song "I'm not as good as I once was but I'm as good once as I ever was." Well sort of in a round about way.

Hey,

I am so freakin happy! My sister just found me here, isn't that cool? No, its not like we were separated from birth and one of us was raised by wolves, (me). Nothing like that. In fact we were raised in the same happy family, 2 parents, 5 kids, 2 bathrooms. We were never bored though at least 2 of us were luckier than the other 5 at any given time.

I love my family.

VEGAS BABY!

Wow!! VEGAS!

I had the great fortune to meet with a group of lady friends for a week in Vegas! It was wonderful and so fun! While we were there not only was Tom Jones performing but also there was a national rodeo championship and to top it all the Mayweather Hattan boxing match. Vegas was filled with cowboys and Brit's. Hat's off to the cowboys but OH THOSE BRIT'S!! Love 'em.

Tom's performances were fantastic, the company I was in was terrific, ( Trish, Shirl, Sharon, Wendy, Deb, Sue, and Ellen), and the scenery was so fine. CHEERS to all the Brit's that came over, I would love to come visit you as well.

I finally had to ask someone who was home mindin' the pub, they assured me that there were plenty left at home and the pub was in good hands. Manchester England Rocks!

50!

Hey!

I turned 50 and lived, that is a wonderful thing.

I have to say that the party and surprise visit by Shirl, Sharon and Wendy was incredible! Having great friends makes turning 50 an easy thing. Thank you to Trish, Shirley, Sharon , Wendy and of course my sweet Lane for making the best 50th birthday ever.

Fall Stuff

Hey, soon Fall will be official and I LOVE it! Fall really is the best time of year, at least to me and not just because I have a birthday coming up. Actually my older sister and I have a birthday coming up, same day and 7 years apart. Since on this birthday I will turn a certain age I am being given a party, it is going to be great! I invite you all to drop by for the celebration, it is going to be freakin awesome.

I really don't feel like I am turning a certain age, yikes!

Summer

So, I blinked my eyes and see that it is mid summer. Geez, where did spring go? Actually I visited my son and daughter-in-law in Jacksonville, NC early this month. What a blast!! Visited the ocean, went boogie boarding and I got a tattoo, my first ever. Heath and Whit always have the best friends and the most fun. I love them and am so proud of them both, they are my heroes. My best friend in the world, Tricia drove out and we drove back to her house the next day. (The new house..the one with the pool. Beautiful!) I always feel like one of the family at Tricia's, that is a very good thing. We also visited Natural Bridge, VA and Lexington. What a great vacation, every second was wonderful, thanks to all of you for letting me be part of your home. I love you all.

I Love Da Bears!

There I have said it, I like da Bears. I visited another site and they LOVE the Packers. I am really not that much into sports though I find hockey exhilerating. I like Uhrlacker. I loved the '86 Bears. If I could have any football jersey it would have the name Butkus on it, he is great. I just wanted to say Go Bears, though they did choke on that last bowl thing. We will get 'em next year.

Shallow...

I have been thinking it over and I am pretty sure that I am shallow. What is wrong with me that I don't love the chick flicks, I must be terribly insensitive. Why do I hate to sob through movies and why do I like hockey? Shallow or good taste. SEE! Shallow, it must be shallow. Any of you are welcome to disagree with me, in fact I invite it.

Vegas!!

Vegas Baby!!

Met up with girlfriends in Vegas and had a blast. Too much to drink, too little to eat, too cold and too much fun! Saw Tom Jones at the MGM three times. Tom is better than ever before, the show was great. Try to find an audio of him singing "Get Me Some", yep, that is what he is talking about!

Great Shows, Great Company, Don't waste your money on going to the Tangerine or Pure, see Tom instead.
