Juxtapoz Issue 91: Todd James/Reas

Todd James, aka Reas, made a name for himself as a graffiti writer in NYC, designed the characters for Crank Yankers, and is now one of the biggest fine artists we could include in the pages of Juxtapoz.
So, where to begin? We have famed graffiti photographer Jon Naar shooting the pic and an extensive interview with Reas by Devin Flynn covering all the goodies, including the upcoming work that will be at Lazarides Gallery in London this August.
The magazine doesn't stop there. We have Kat Von D interviewing Shawn Barber, Mister Cartoon speaking with BMX legend Bob Haro, Will Barras live from London town, Amy Sol making her way from Las Vegas, and Andrew J Wright giving his story from the studios of Space 1026 in Philadelphia.
Plus we have show reviews of George Lois, Mr Brainwash, Eddie Martinez, Luke Chueh, and Aya Kakeda.
That's August. That's summer reading. Grab a copy now in our online shop!

Juxtapoz Issue 90: Miss Van

The French have sent us an ambassador for our July issue: fine and street artist Miss Van. It's been a longtime coming for Miss Van to be our cover story, as we have long been fans of her work. But here she is, in all her glory, gracing both our newsstand and subscriber covers.
That's not all in this issue. We have new works from Audrey Kawasaki and Mel Kadel in both their respected interviews. N8 Van Dyke hired a chimp for this amazing portrait, which is what we call must-see magazine viewing. HVW8 shows up for a nice feature celebrating 10 years of the Montreal/Los Angeles collective. And Brooklyn star Judith Supine sits down for a rare interview and gives us the details of his childhood, the origins of his name, and of course, the Manhattan Bridge piece that had the art world buzzing.
Come by, buy a mag, stay awhile. It's the midsummer read of all reads.
