THE HARE
Hares fall under a most fortunate sign! Their sign is the emblem of long life and they possess the powers of the moon. Hares are very sensitive to beauty. They are gracious and soft spoken. Hares are the diplomats and the peace-makers. They enjoy a tranquil life and love a quiet evening at home. Hares are reserved and very artistic. They are thorough and good scholars. When Hares are moody, which is often, they will appear totally indifferent to the world.
Hares are lucky in money matters and great at finding a bargain. They may look easy-going, but they are actually quite cunning! Being a strong-willed person, they go quietly but determinedly towards their goals. They don't like making waves and find other means to get their way.
Hares are well-mannered and seldom use harsh words or foul language. Instead they cater to your every whim until they get their way. Before you know it, you have been won over! Although Hares appear slow at times, they are actually practicing caution. They read all the fine print before signing their names. Their uncanny abilities to correctly assess people and situations leave them quite conceited. Hares are considerate, understanding, warm, friendly, and easy to be with. They know how to relax.
When everyone is rushing around, Hares remind you that there is still tomorrow. Their motto is "live and let live". Hares would never embarrass you in public and they know how to save face. If Hares can spare your feelings, they will. For this they are well liked.
Hares make few enemies and rarely get into serious trouble. No one is more understanding. Hares give you all the sympathy you need. Just don't expect them to go out and do battle for you.If the going gets too rough, Hares may make a quick exit. They can't stand suffering and misery. Hares are experts at passing the buck and may hedge over difficult issues. When they feel too threatened they are unpredictable. If you push them too far they will simply get rid of you! Hares were not born to be fighters. They have their own ways that are very effective. Having good sense they know how to take care of themselves. They protect their own environment from strife at all costs.
Hares are good entertainers and hosts. They have good words to say about everyone. Although they often know more than they will say,they are discreet in their choice of friends. No matter what happens to Hares, they land on their feet and easily leap obstacles in their path. Hares believe in themselves and are at peace within. Spirit Song
Current mood:  calm
Mild, calm, subdued. My slumbering spirit sighs.
Within me all was once peaceful and quiet.
Waiting. Waiting for time drawing nigh.
Right. Now the time is right.
Time for my spirit to awaken,
time for my heart to stir and quicken.
Knowledge is key.
Yearning sets me free.
For too long now, the light lay abeyant.
Though now, brilliant is the loving light.
Love. Such a wondrous feeling of love.
Soothing, rapturous. unconditional love.
It is though a child has grown,
A bird just finding wind beneath its wings.
Fantastic it is to yearn and learn all there is to know.
Beautiful it is, the melody of the soul as it sings.
A song. A song has been written for me,
though I am its composer.
Where the lyrics end is yet a mystery,
but I am willing to sing along with the music in me.

Just me

I am simply, me. I try not to build myself up for anyone with words, accomplishments, how smart I think I am, what a good person I am, how different I am from anyone, or what I can do. None of these things mean anything by saying them. Anything about me can only be shown. Good or bad. Trust me, there are negative to go along with anything postive when it comes to me. I try to be lead by the spirit with an open heart and mind, yet I do get tempted by the world and forget that, "though the spirit is willing; The flesh is weak."

Looking back from 60

I am about to turn 32 July 15th. I am just thinking about where my life has traveled over the last 32 years. Mainly My experiences. My mistakes. My loves come and gone.
Would I do anything over? Nope. Will I go back? No sir. Life moves forward. My sprirt, mind, heart and soul go with it. That is the way I like it. I believe that is what God intended us to do. Live, learn and keep on living. Forward, not holding life back trying to correct the past or relive it.
I find myself considering, should I just stop trying my luck with love? Risking more hurt? Risking hurting someone whether intentional or not? The way I see it, my chances of hurt or happiness are as good or bad as anyone elses. I choose to keep living and, loving. Period.
I wonder optimisticly about what will I see when I am 60+ or so in years. I hope I am still able to look back and remember everything. Crazy, foolhearty decisions. Going heart strong and head forgotten following the Spirit where it leads my heart. Being greatful for every tear that helped me cherish every jump of the heart or simple smile. Will I ever marry again? Who knows?! If I don't? If I only manage to love and lose countless times with nothing tangible accept the memories of loving, losing and living it all to the fullest? The memories alone will be worth the struggles. Not too mention my children who undoubtedly are the greatest treasures however they come into my "little nest".
I have complete faith that God has me where I am suppose to be in his plan for me. He is my significant other always. Remembering that, I know I will not end up alone. Ever.
