First game against the Lions sucked and we lost 13-10. The second game was awsome, we beat Cleveland 37-34. The third week I was pissed because I was watching the game for an hour and CBS decided to put the Steeler game on so I missed it but I found out that we lost to the Jets 10-7. And finally last nights game was another good one. We played the Pats and kicked their asses just like we did in the superbowl. 19-14
And now I am ready for regular season wich starts for the Giants, Thursday September 4th
While in South Carolina we went to Hollywild. Incase you don't know, Hollywild is a zoo that has some famous animals in it. They were in movies, music videos and whatnot.
Now there are 11 of us all together and we decided to go on the safari where you can pet the animals and feed them. So anyway we get on the bus and everybody grabs a seat on the bench except for me and Dallas. I asked everybody to scootch down since there was room for 2 more on the other end. The reason there was room was because some guy with I think 2 kids decided to take a seat in the middle and wouldn't move. He said that there was room on the end. What an asshole, now why the hell couldn't he just sit all the way to the end when he got on in the first place? That's what any normal human being would do.
So because of him, Matthew and Dillan, the 2 oldest children had to sit on the end far away from me. I didn't want that cuz Matthew is the oldest but he chooses not to listen sometimes and Dillan follows him.
There were only 2 rules to follow and I knew Matthew would break them both. We were told not to pet the Emus because they bite and not to feed the animals while we are movin because they might run under the bus and get run over. With that being said, watch the video...
I went to the ATM and I had to wait because there was a girl infront of me at the machine. She was kinda distracted cuz she had a guy hangin all over her.
When she finished and I went up to the machine it said, "Would you like to make another transaction?" I was still in her account. I could have very easily taken all her money.
But no...being the honest, good, kind and caring person that I am hit "No" And this is why Jen calls me Karebear. I sometimes hate the fact that I have such a good heart.
So tell me...What would you do? Would you take the money or what?
But seriously...We planned on leaving SC on Sunday the 24th but Matthew wanted to come home so we left yesterday and got home last night. We left my sisters at 8 am and didn't get home until 10 pm.
I called it...I said the GPS was going to get us lost and wouldn't you know, the damn thing got us lost in Jersey for an hour, it kept freezin up on us. It had us goin in circles.
At one point I was drivin down the highway and the highway split. I thought I was on the right side but come to find at the last minute it was wrong and I had to get over. Half of the time it didn't tell us to stay in the left or the right when the highway splits. It almost got us killed to many times to mention. I am never using the damn thing again.
Everybody knows what this is right? Well just incase you don't know what this is, it is like a map, a navigation thing that you plug into your car and take with you so it is impossible to get lost. Some cars have them built in
Anywho my father is in "The Pride" and they travel alot doing shows out of state. When they travel he carpools with a friend who has a GPS so they don't have to print out maps like I do.
Well my father decided that he was gonna buy one. He figured that Matthew and I could bring it with us to South Carolina. I really didn't want it cuz I like using maps that I print out. I like to know my route ahead of time so I can kind of study it. Having a GPS to me is kinda like you are blind and you have to depend on this piece of technology to get you where you wanna go. lol
My father got the GPS the other day so I tried it out today. I set it to go to my house to Matthews fathers house. Eventhough I already know my way I wanted to see what it would do. Everytime you turn off the rout it gives you it recalculates. So like a said...It's kind of impossible to get lost.
I am costantly driving to and from his fathers so I know the way like the back of my hand. I swear my car knows the way without me. lol. As I was getting on the Merrit from the Milford Parkway the thing kept tellin me to take a right onto the merrit. I took a left because that is the way to get on the merrit so it then said, "recalculating rout". I'm tellin you, this damn thing is gonna get us lost
When I finally got to his fathers I wanted to set it back to home because Matthew would be drivin and I wanted him to see what it was like. I tried to set it to back home but the damn thing wouldn't do it because I still had .1 miles to go to my destination. Arrrrr. Between all this BS and the damn thing constantly telling me that I am speeding, I wanted to throw it out the window
Matthew figured out how to basically reverse the route and off we went. We had to stop at Walmart along the way to get some supplies for our road trip Monday. I swear the thing got mad that we went way out of the way cuz we were like 5 minutes from home and the thing switched to a screen where it said no map found
My father had to fix the thing when we got home. Leave it to me. lol. So who wants to bet that this thing is gonna get us lost? lol
Just incase any of my friends are interested. Incase anyone cares. lol. Incase anybody is trying to reach me and I don't get back to you and you wonder what happened to me...I went away.
Monday morning August 4th my son and I are driving down to South Carolina to visit with my sisters for about 3 weeks. It's weird that I have a son old enough to have a license. 4 more years and we are hittin the casinos. lol.
Anyway, we should be back on the 25th. So if you have my cell number and wanna chat with me while I'm gone, feel free to give me a ring. If not, I'll chat with you when I get back.
My sister was sayin that she has another friend on here whose name is Karen also. She also has that name on her profile which alot of Karens have.
Anyway...my sister gets confused because she will see bulletins posted and the subscription notices thingies from "Karen" but she doesn't know which one it is 'till she clicks on it.
So I guess it's time that I changed my name. I've changed my name before but I like it as plain old Karen. That's me!!!!!! So what do ya think? Any suggestions...

I gotta tell ya...I was shocked that Paul got executed, I honestly thought it would have been Craig. Maybe Paul got executed because he honestly believes Nicole is not the mole. If you notice, Craig and Mark both believe Nicole is the mole so therefore they did not get executed. Because like I said, Nicole IS the mole. If you notice, she is tryin to take the heat off her and raise suspicion about Craig bein the mole.
Before I get to me being sick which I know you are curious about I must tell you about the wild weekend Lisa and I had. It was the weekend of the 19th. I wasn't planning on bloggin about it but Lisa wanted me to. I really don't know what to say but O well, here goes nothin.
Friday the 18th at like 8pm Lisa called me up and needed to go out, she was having guy issues. I wasn't really in the mood for goin anywhere but she suggested that we go see "GrindHouse". She had me right there cuz I have been dyin to check these guys out for like forever now and nobody would go with me.
These guys are pretty good. They did "Steve Miller", "Zeppelin", "Stones", "Skynard" and shit like that. You know...the stuff you would hear if you turned on WPLR. They did "The Ocean" for me cuz Lisa was askin them if they did Zeppelin and I hear Paul say we do "The Ocean" so I jumped up and said I wanna hear "The Ocean". lol
Anywho...GrindHouse played at Dew Drop Inn in Derby. I had never been there before but I knew exactly where it was from drivin by. It's a biker bar. I kept tellin Lisa this, it's like she heard me but she didn't. Cuz when we got there she goes, "Man I wish I knew this was a biker bar cuz then I wouldn't have worn my tidye hippie dress" LMFAO!
When we walked in the bar, we got a beer and Sat at the end of the bar near the band. We weren't even halfway done with our first beer when it starts. Some big burley lookin biker dude comes over and wants to get a beer so Lisa being the flirt she is, moved out of his way. Next thing ya know, the guy is buyin us beers. So I start takin pics to remember this and the the guy drags us over to meet his father. But later he was sayin somethin about the guy not bein his father. IDK
Now Lisa and I are hangin out with these 2 guys and they invite us to a Holloween party. Cool. lol. When they finished their beers they left. So Lisa and I hung out near the band doin our usual thing of in and out haven a cigg. We had a good time strikin up convo's with all kinds of people.
At the end of the night we ended up talkin with John their sound guy. He invited us back to Danny O's with them. So off to Danny O's we go. At Danny O's we hung out with John the sound guy, Paul the guitar player and Scotty the drummer. As soon as we got there, Lisa and Paul did a car bomb and they wonder why they woke up with hangovers. lol
After the car bombs, Lisa and I went outside for a cigg. We walk outside and there is a guy sittin all by himself and waves to Lisa and I to come over. O ok, so we go sit down. He was tellin us how he is here on business with AT&T. Come to find he lives in Wisconsin and is staying in the hotel down the street. He wants me to give him a ride. OMG I was freakin at this point cuz I didn't know him, there was no way in hell I was givin him a ride...Well I ended up givin him a ride. lol.
Ok lets skip to Saturday. Paul from GrindHouse dj's the karaoke at Danny O's on Saturdays (the one on River Rd, not Howe Ave. My friend Deserea does that one), and he wanted us to come down. Lisa was having man issues again so we went. Nothing out of the ordinary happened except for the one guy that was makin goo goo eyes at me all night. Lisa started dancin and boy was he watchin her like a hawk. I told Lisa she had a one man audience and next thing I knew she was over there flirtin with him so I took pics to show her in the morning just incase she didn't remember
I wanted to go have a cigg and the next thing I knew, the guy was out there with us sittin at the table feeding us a line of bull. Somethin about how he is rich and he wants to make us his. He wants us to share him cuz he is a player and it goes on and on. This guy needs to go back to bed cuz hes dreamin. ROFLMFAO!!!!
I told Paul but of course he didn't do shit. As the night went on everything was cool. After last call we all went outside. We were gettin ready to leave and of course I had to pee. So I walked back inside and that dude grabbed my arm. I just looked at him like excuse you. Then he asked me if I ever gave him my number? I said, "go talk to Lisa, I gotta pee." He goes outside and asks Lisa and she told him that she didn't have a pen. Damn we make a good team, don't we?lol
On Sunday Lisa and I were talking about our wild weekend. I said, "boy, we always find fun" and she goes, "what are you talkin about? We are the fun!!!" lol
Later that day I went out with Paul and when I got home at 1 in the morning my throat was hurtin. I thought maybe it was from all the ciggs I've been smokin. Well I guess I was wrong cuz by Monday afternoon I had a fever of 102.9. I didn't think to much of it, I figured it would go away. That night I couldn't sleep. My fever was so high that I was having trouble breathing. I felt every single organ in my body and they ached. I was so hott my teeth hurt so bad and my head hurt something fierce. I put a cold rag on my head which usually cools me right down but it didn't do shit. I tried so hard to sleep but I couldn't. I did however does off for a few here and there.
By the time morning rolled around I could no longer swallow, thats how bad it hurt. If you have ever had strep, it was worse then that. Around 10 or so, I decided that I was really sick and I needed antibiotics so I drove myself to the drs. They did a throat culture and surprise surprise it's not strep. The dr decided that maybe it was tonsilitis so he gave me penicillin. The nurse is still not sure what it was. Leave it to me. lol.
My son had tonsilitis last year and it wasn't nearly as bad as mine. When I get sick, I REALLY get sick. So Anyway Tuesday I started the penicillin. Wednessday my throat swelled up to where I could barely talk. Then Thursday my fever finally went away and the swelling in my throat slowly started to fade. Friday when I woke up I had issues breathing so I swore off ciggs. lol.
Saturday morning again I had issues breathing but my throat finally stopped hurtin. Today I seem ok except for my throat is a little scratchy, not bad.
So Lisa and I were tryin to figure out, out of all the people I had contact with Last weekend...Lisa, Paul, John, Scotty, Miralem (the guy from Wisconsin who ended up bein really cool by the way), my father and Matthew...How come no-one got sick?
Well Clay is gone. How sad. I make you a bet Craig goes next week. Alot of people seem to think Craig is the mole, but not me. I still think Nicole is.
Man am I seeing shit that just isn't there or what? Why don't other people see this shit? Like this week during the "Go Figure" mission, you could just tell that she was trying to fuck it all up. And what about her seriously trying to convince everybody that she is NOT the mole? Shit, the girl is trying to pin it on Craig.
And...What about during the execution when Jon said 2 people were tied. Nicole goes "oops". Then she was worried about her pic bein terrible and not the fact that she might be goin home. And then she tells her mom, "sorry" cuz she didn't get executed. Mole like behavior if you ask me
So I dragged my sick ass down to motor vehicle today And Matthew passed his test. He is now a licensed driver!!!!! We will be leaving Monday August 4th for South Carolina (as long as I am better. lol)

Do you remember the movie The Lost Boys that came out in 1987? That movie was the best. The tag line for it needed to be altered though. lol. They could have done without the last part...

They should have made a sequel to this movie forever ago. But...they sadly never did.
And now years later (2007) they came out with a show called The Two Coreys, staring Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. The show is pretty much all about their real lives.
So anyway they have finally decided to make a sequel to The Lost Boys. They wanted Felman but they didn't want Haim so Feldman turned down the part...
First of all I am shocked because I think Corey Haim is a better actor then Feldman. And wasn't The Lost Boys based around Sam (Haim)? But I guess they would want Feldman and Jamisson because they played the Frog Brothers, the vampire slayers, so I guess they should really be carried on.
Anywho, they eventually asked Haim to be in the movie. You know thats cuz he threw a fit. And I guess to the writers The Lost Boys wouldn't be the same without Feldman so they wrote in Haim. Appearently he has a small part which I am not happy about. And then what about Michael and Starr? I hear Jason Patric has a small appearence. And did anybody think about Laddy? Where is he?

I don't think I am going to like the movie too much. But then again, look at Grease and Grease 2. I liked the second one better. Well I guess we will have to wait and see till I watch it. Incase you are interested, it comes out on video July 29th
I guess we are nearing the end here. We have I believe 4 weeks left. At the end of the game we have 3 people left. The winner, the loser and the mole. Before I tell you what I think I just wanted to say that I knew Alex was gonna get executed cuz everytime I think somebody could possibly be the mole and they aren't they get executed. Don't get me wrong, I never stopped thinkin Nicole is the mole, I was just a little suspicious about Alex. He was awfully quiet. Then again Alex is a musician and I found that most of them are quiet and shy anyway. lol.

So I was all bummed out today cuz first off the mole wasn't on Monday and second today is my sons 17th birthday and he is with his father but then this evening I opened my e-mail and I got an e-mail from mlb.com. I won Bon Jovi tickets thanks to my sister.
Last week Cheryl informed me that Bon Jovi is doin a free concert at central park. Come to find that you need tickets for it. She found out that you can win them by registering at mlb.com. I never win anything but I figured, what the hell, let me try, it's Bon Jovi after all.
I can't believe I won. I'm so excited!!! I've decided to take my other half of Double Trouble (Jen) with me. Tom, I will make sure she is a good girl. Look out NY here comes Double Trouble. lol

Lately we have had thunderstorms once a day everyday. A day doesn't pass without atleast a shower but the good news is that they don't last very long. My question is...What is CT turning into? Washington? That is the place I'm thinkin of, right? They have a shower everyday and then it turn beautiful
Did anybody catch West Havens fireworks last night? It was crazy. I don't have to go down to the beach cuz I can see them pretty good from my house. So I was outside watchin em and they stopped all of a sudden so I went inside. Then like 20 minutes later they started again so I went back outside. The ground was soaked. I guess they stopped for the rain.
On Tuesday I went to Monroe to pick Matthew up from his fathers. When I hit the light at the end of the 25 a conector I looked at the sky going into monroe and it was BLACK. Now when people always say that the sky is black and we are gonna have a storm, they are wrong. The sky is not black, it's more like a gray. But the sky over Monroe was BLACK no lie.
So I drove into the blackness and it started to downpour and I could barely see. As if that wasn't bad enough it started to hail. I saw the freakin ice hitting my windshield and bouncing off. I've never been in hail before, it's scary. The hail stopped when I got to Matthew's father, just enough for him to get in the car. By the time we got down the steet it started hailing again. When we got to the conecter, the roads were dry, the storm didn't leave that side of Monroe
