New Design - Kairos Tour Highlights
I served in the south Boston region and then in New Hampshire and then downtown Boston. The venues were uniquely different but the love of the Lord was present in all! Each place had some unique flavor, a special blessing and it was a privilege to meet so many new faces and pour out His song and worship in this region.
There was a common current in these three places so I would love to share it here with you: In worshipping the Lord with these new songs, I felt impressed to share bits of my personal story -- That of losing my father as a young child. [some of my testimony is in the podcast]
When we lose something dear to us, down deep we really want the "original" back. This is the hard part about loss -- We want it back! For years I wanted my father "back". It was not God's plan for my father to die, for me to have this hole in my life. However, He has used it to craft in my heart a reality that will never let go: God is my father, my very own Abba. It is not a statement running through my head, nor an "event" that just landed into me. It is something He has woven in my heart over the many years of facing this loss with Jesus.
He uses grief to weave something beautiful. I don't have the "original" father, but God the father has indeed been a father to me. This reality impacts every song and almost every note I play, even if I am not singing directly about our Father. Therefore, many are healed and touched by the sound. Songs "I Will Not Leave," "By Your Blood" "At Your Feet" and of course, "Fly Free" seem to go quite well here and ..board in South Boston, some spontaneous time of singing of His love were quite special.
I am sure there are some "originals" in your life that you may want back. May this day be a day where you can let go and look ahead to the new design He is crafting. I know it will be beautiful!
"And the vessel that he was making from clay was spoiled in in the hand of the potter; so he made it over, reworking it into another vessel as it seemed good to the potter to make it." Jeremiah 17.4

The Ivories --Kairos Tour Highlights
Category: Music
Hey everyone!
Finally, I have a few minutes AND internet access. When the Lord spoke to me that this journey would be entitled "Kairos," I became immediately excited -- He knows I love this kind of thing! However, I tried to just 'chill' and keep my thoughts out of it with my expectation solely upon Him. We know this is the best - to focus entirely upon Jesus - although challenging..
If you take a quick glance on the website, you'll see that some worship events were planned ahead, while many were not -- truly "on the fly." One of those occurred at a hotel.
It was a friday, late afternoon. I was at the piano in the welcoming lobby. Upon the first key-stroke...the Presence of God descended oh so strong! It was incredible. Very soon, the hotel staff found things "to do" while in the lobby. They were drawn "one by one" until they were silent lured in by the love and joy. The manager basically hung soaking over the front desk. The cleaning people were cleaning windows already cleaned. -- the bartender was challenged, but could not leave. It was a site! Suddenly, a couple of Jewish families entered. They were immediately distracted by the music, and yet so welcomed. The smiles came - the joy came - His Presence came. You see at this time, it is Friday afternoon, soon it will be Shabbat. And in two days it will be Shavuot. In between will be bar-mitzvahs. Do we think our King had His hand in welcoming these families? Yes indeed! Literally, I could not stop playing! What was intended for 30 minutes went well into over an hour. The Jewish grandmother walked over to excuse herself from interrupting me, but could not contain herself -- I think she wanted to take me home with her! I was ad-libbing a song from my new album called, "Is It Love?" It asks the question, "is the Messiah, this God of Love? Is the Messiah God? Is He the One we are looking for?" The song also gives the answers: we long for love, joy and freedom and these are the free gifts He lavishes upon us. Friends, I was not playing any known song to anyone - there was not a Jewish medley coming from me. I merely followed the Lord -- for some, this is called "Soaking Music", others, "instrumental" I've played this way since a child...my notes were not solemn, they were of joy, expectation, love and intimacy! Here I was, outside of Boston declaring His joy and the Spirit was leading in the dance!! From the region that is my home, this was truly a joy and I am thankful that hearts were touched tremendously! There is much happening these days - both of concern and also for His glory! In our lives we need to put it all into focus and wait so that we are prepared to say "YES" when HE says GO and DO. I'm so thankful I stopped long enough to hear His voice -- That is Kairos. His favor. We walk into it only as we are quiet enough to hear His voice.
More HighLights coming soon.. Kathleen

Getting into a Good Mood
Category: Music
There’s a lot of stuff out there discussing the problem, we decided to produce something that provides an actual SOLUTION-- that really helps you succeed.
We call it a Worship Project. It’s also a FLIGHT PLAN. By enjoying the song, a message comes to your heart -- a plan to be free, to RISE ABOVE the obstacles in your daily life, so that you live victoriously...overcoming -- even when it doesn’t feel like a very good day!
How can we do this? While listening to these songs, THINK along with them and SING/WORSHIP with them, we know you will experience transformation in your life. People are actually telling me this happens!
We have a few songs here on myspace, but the whole thing is the real deal. The CD is not about a few good songs, it’s giving you a TOOL to help you lead a VICTORIOUS LIFE.
Yes, I invite you to take the next step. Leave this site and Go to the FLY FREE page and get something that will help you OVERCOME in the midst of a hard day. We think the project is good ANY time, but particularly in hard times, you need a tool to get you through.
