retraction
Current mood: embarrassed
Category: Music

Okay...I feel incredibly stupid! I was given misinformation about Get Smart! The two songs I recently had placed are in a movie called "Get Bruce & Lloyd" which is a Get Smart spin-off!!!! So, I stopped my happy dance to let you know!!! Ah well, a placement is a placement and I'm still pleased, but I was such a big fan of Get Smart as a kid, it would've been awesome!!!

Sorry for the confusion!

I still can't wait to see the movie!

Hubbard Benefit, Gossip Girl & Other News
Current mood: grateful
Category: Life

For those of you who live in LA, I hope you can make it to the Wade Hubbard Tribute & Benefit at Molly Malone's this Tuesday @ 7:30 PM (575 S Fairfax Ave. LA). Not only are the extremely talented LA singers & musicians who've worked with Wade performing live (Kari Kimmel, Sean Holt, Wendy Wagner, Ken Stacey, Will Wheaton, Janelle Sadler, Bernie Barlow, Gia, Angela Carol Brown, Bruce Watson, Scott Bennett, etc.), but David Hasselhoff has been working tirelessly to promote the show and will be webcasting from his site www.davidhasselhoff.com. HubbardGeissMusic.com will be selling the Tribute CD after the fact. I sang one of the tunes written by Wade Hubbard & Wendy Wilson (of Wilson Phillips) called "I'm Free". It's a great song and it is an honest portrait of Wade's spirit!!! If you have a few bucks you'd like to contribute to Wade's family, you may send it to Kehaunani Hubbard c/o Midnite Sun Records, 13701 Riverside Drive, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423 ATTN: Sean Larkin.

On another note, I'd like to thank everyone for requesting downloads of "Back Seat Taxi", which was recently featured on the CW's Gossip Girl. We'll be adding it on Snowcap so you can download it from myspace.com/Silvermoneymusic and also here at myspace.com/kellymoneymakermusic along with 2ClicksDown tune "Feel The Heat" which was featured in Lifetime's "The Custody of The Heart" very soon.

The long-awaited Silvermoney CD is being mixed by ultra-talented, Rob Beaton. You can read Rob's superlong credits at www.meetbeaton.com!!!

Tightly Embrace The Ones You Love,

Kelly

Silvermoney
Current mood: artistic
Category: Music

Just taking a lunch break from working on the Silvermoney cd, due for release in January. I've been writing/producing with Dan Silver (Riptide Music Publishing) on this project. It's a mix of Evanescence/Tool/Distillers and we're having a blast! Randy Cooke (Five For Fighting) is on drums, Wade Biery on bass. Dan's gonna crank up the amps and finish guitars here shortly.

Gabriel Moses and I have finished the Jacked Up Betties cd. The track "Just Another Ho in Hollywood" was recently picked up for an episode of "South of Nowhere" on the Noggin Network, which will air in February. Nice timing, since the Betties will be released then as well!! You'll be able to download the Betties from iTunes in February also.

Eco-friendly ads shot here at my eco-friendly house will air on NBC beginning November 4th. They pushed back the date to coincide with an entire NBC eco-rehaul!!! Very proud of the network for putting their lightest foot forward! We're working on the EZee2Bgreen.com website now and it should be runnin' by November 4th!!!

2ClicksDown (with Curt Harpel) recently placed a song in a Lifetime movie. I don't have the details on that just yet cuz it's oh-so-fresh, but I'll keep ya posted!

Mkay. Gotta get my sweetcheeks back to work!!

Current mood: excited

Just wanted to share some good news!!!

My friend, Dan Silver, and I have recently landed the trailer for Bruce Willis' Die Hard 4 movie. You'll hear our song, "Justified" on the trailer and it will also be featured in an upcoming ..ary about double dutching that was shot in Harlem called "Doublestep". I'll post it next month so you can hear it here.

I was asked to do an interview with the Exposé Epistle, which is now posted on their website. In honor of those who are Exposé and DOOL fans, I've posted a club remix of "Can't Live Without Your Love". I have never officially released it, so I hope you enjoy it and dance around naked!!!!

Also, I wanted to mention that there are several impersonators out there, but for those of you who are true Peter Reckell fans, please visit his official page at www.myspace.com/PeterReckell. Thanks to those my space friends who alerted our fan clubs to the issue...

Ashley Johnson (www.myspace.com/AshleyJohnsonMusic) has interest from a few labels, but she needs your support. We're waiting for snowcap to approve her account and her songs will be available for download shortly!! Help a really talented & cool artist from Alaska break her career! You can also order her cd from CDbaby.com.

My gorgeous niece, Taylor Moneymaker, is featured in the Born To Be Wild video on NASCAR's website and TNT. Check it out!!!

I have new material coming out in January with Big Pygmies and SilverMoney, which I'm extremely excited about! So...I better get my butt back to work!!!

Live a beautiful, twisted life!

Is it mid-June already?
Current mood: creative

You know, time just flies faster and faster these days! Finally ready to launch the eco-house! HGTV offered two features on their shows in the past, but it wasn't ready yet, BUT IT IS NOW!!! Putting the earth-roof on top of the exterior temple at this very moment, which is quite exciting!

Please check out Red, Hot & Green--a new show on HGTV about eco-friendly remodeling. An acquaintence, Danny Seo, is the designer and he has great ideas on how to "green-up" your home! Also, check out "Living With Ed" to support our friend, Ed Begly Jr., --the true pioneer of eco-living!

Back in the studio with Big Pygmies! The new funk/rock jams should be ready for release in January. Looking forward to getting out there to perform again. Been a while since I've escaped The Hemp Box (my studio)!

I've been sucked into a new hobby--photography. My inside-out-beautiful-niece, Taylor, is modeling and she needed test shots, so I snapped a few. Well, it's turned into a full-blown obsession, so of course I had to get new lenses, new flashes, and photoshop cs3. As if I don't already have too few hours in a day!!! She'll be posting new shots on her myspace page (linked to mine: myspace.com/kellymoneymakermusic) in a week or so. Please check 'em out.

Vibrate on the highest level!!!!

eco house
Current mood: awake
Category: Life

Just wanted to say a quick hello. I've been busy working on the environmentally friendly home/studio that's been in the works for several years. We're almost finished! I promise to share info on materials and resources through a new myspace page as soon as we launch the eco-house!

I'm waiting for 4 panels from the ecoresin company so I can finish the dripping wall, solar shades...working on the roof garden and the bioroof for my gazebo at present. The birds are gonna love it up there! There's a whole community of hummingbirds buzzin' outside my window as I type.

I'm also working on new tunes for the upcoming "Big Pygmies" CD and an EP of miscellaneous tunes for the eco-minded.

Hope life is treating you all sweetly. Warmest--Kelly
